MorningSong B&B

We had a lovely time at this gorgeous little B&B in Ouray. The Innkeepers Faith and David immediately made us feel like family. Lovely room, fantastic breakfast that was incredibly delicious and still healthy - not that typical B&B fru fru food! Great value - we will definitely be back!

This was a pleasant stay, but the rooms were really small and having to share a bathroom with other couples staying there is not really comfortable. The food was outstanding and the innkeepers were most pleasant!

Time would only allow one night at MorningSong, but we were very happy with the accommodations and our overall experience. The location of the B&B is superb (easy walking distance to main drag, shops and restaurants), the breakfast was delicious and the house is charming and welcoming; just like the innkeepers, David & Faith. We would recommend it to anyone!!

This is a most interesting building, as are the hosts. We received service beyond our expectations.

A great B&B in Ouray. Faith and David went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They accomodated our schedule and breakfast was simply heavenly. Our room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again.

I would highly recommend the MorningSong B & B experience. Dave and Faith were wonderful host and hostess and made us feel very welcomed in their home. The food was delicious and made and served with a lot of love and nice extra touches. We would definitely go back again when we are in the wonderful little town of Ouray.

What a joyful discovery, to find such a lovely B&B in Ouray, Colorado. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed, Faith and David were very gracious hosts-turned-friends, and the Victorian home was delightfully designed and decorated. I loved the upper room which afforded privacy, fresh air and lots of light for quiet reading. The breakfasts were very tasty and plentiful. All in all, my husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Morning Song Bed and Breakfast, and hope to return someday. I would highly recommend it!

My wife and I had an outstanding stay at the MorningSong B&B!! Faith and Dave did an outstanding job by making us feel at home! We will definately stay here again if we are in the area.

I stayed here back in 2009 with some friends while on a road trip - the other reviews are right on. Great accommodations, location, price, food, company...all of it. A real local experience as well...local food, coffee, deserts, and local activities promoted. You won't find a B&B like this, for this price, anywhere. It's definitely worth a detour even if you're nearby. You won't regret it!

Faith and David were wonderful hosts -- we had planned to get out and go ice climbing early that morning, but instead spent two hours eating breakfast and chatting with them at the kitchen table. This is a wonderful building, built by David, and 1-2 blocks from everything you'd need in Ouray.

Wonderful rooms and great company!!!! And we loved the cat. It was friendly.

I enjoyed my stay. The beds were comfortable. The company was nice and the conversations were interesting.

This was a wonderful place to spend an autumn weekend! Ouray is a fantastic and beautiful little town. The B&B was very charming. The room was beyond clean and tidy with a large comfortable bed. The owners were a joy to get to know. The resident feline is also a sweetie. The food was very good. MorningSong has a home-like environment that makes travel less of an ordeal and more of a joy. We would stay again and I would recomend this B&B to anyone.

We were in town to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed staying at MorningSong and the food was fantastic! Great weekend!

A really cute bedroom with a super comfortable bed - very charming. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. My only negative comment would be that some of the exterior trim needs repainting. I also found the bathtub very slick when I stepped in to shower and might suggest a nonslip mat of some sort. Our stay at MorningSong B&B was certainly very pleasant!

Faith and David were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our visit and really enjoyed visiting with them. MorningSong is conveniently located to the center of town. We will definitely stay there on our next trip. Ed & Maggi

Only in Ouray could you find such a great couple to put you up in an amazing house! The food was fantastic, our time spent on the roof top will not be forgotten, and spending time with new friends David and Faith was the highlight of our trip! J&T Koch

Loved the B&B! The rooms were beautiful, atmosphere superb and the hosts were the icing on the cake. Faith has a great spirit about her and her food was YUMMY!!!! Perfect location...can walk to shops, hot springs and restaurants. Did not use the car once!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Morningsong B&B. I have never stayed at a B&B before and Faith was so wonderful in showing me around and making me feel right at home. We really enjoyed staying at the MorningSong B&B. It felt like going to stay with friends. The bed was comfortable and the food was excellent. It was quiet and clean. It was nice having a "resident cat" there. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at MorningSong B&B in May 2010 and loved it! The rooms were quaint and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Faith and David are wonderful hosts. Make sure you take advantage of the beautiful views from the balconies! Ouray is a perfect place to experience Colorado.

We stayed in the Morning Song for the New Year. They have a patio on the top floor which is higher than almost all the town's buildings. From there, we enjoyed Ouray's fireworks and the view of the moon. We also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast the next day. My wife and I would definitely enjoy coming back to this gem of a find.

What a fun time I had staying at MorningSong! The hospitality was fantastic, and of course the food was amazing - what a creative cook Faith is! Ouray is a great little town with lots to do. I even had fun playing with Jasmine, the kitty. I've stayed at MorningSong twice and will surely go again.

Last minute choice and first time bnb for me. great on every level and will be my place to stay each trip to Ouray.David and Faith were great. Stayed on 9/11/09.

Stayed in Sept. 2008 and have stayed in other places in Ouray many times in the previous 15 years. Finally, the perfect place to stay in the prettiest mountain town I've seen. Pleasant company with David and Faith and incredible food that continued to come out of that kitchen the entirety of our stay. I recommend Ouray to anyone that wants to see Colorado, and Morningsong to anyone staying there.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the Morning Song B&B and what a time we had! David and Faith were wonderful host and hostesses. We played cards in the evening with them and another couple who were staying there. The breakfast was delicious; high quality natural food prepared well. What can I say? I want to go back sometime soon. There's lots to do in Ouray and the surrounding area.

I would not only recommend staying here if you're in the area, you should go out of your way to visit Ouray and stay at the Morning Song. You can take in the breathtaking views from the Morning Song's rooftop balconies, enjoy the wonderful architecture and appointments inside and out, be taken care of by two of the best hosts you'll ever meet, enjoy a one of a kind breakfast, and enjoy the company of Jasmine, their friendly cat. Truly a one of a kind experience.

The hospitality is outstanding . . .thank you so much for making me feel at home each and every time! Truffles, locally made, on the pillow is such a nice touch, organic soaps and the breakfasts . . .oh the breakfasts. love it all!
