We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. The staff was great and the hotel was so cute and very western. I loved the fact that they have a common room with all the comforts of your own kitchen/living room. There could have been a little more light in our room and there was no where to hang anything in our room. But really that would not be a reason to not stay here. It was a real pleasure to stay there and I will recommend it to all my friends and family.

This is one of the best hotels in Colorado! I frequently stay here on business trips. Nancy and the rest of the staff are wonderful people. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The two closest places to stay (Rifle&Craig) have nothing compared to the Meeker Hotel. Highly recommended by an experienced traveler! Ben Mendenhall

We were in the area on an Elk hunt. My wife dropped a bull right at sunset. We called the hotel on our way into town and the staff was outstanding. We ordered dinner over the phone and even though the restaurant had already closed, they had a hot delicious meal waiting for us! Highly recommend the Meeker Hotel! We will stay there again.

I just wanted to tell everyone this is a top notch place. I stayed in the other hotels in the area and nothing compares to this hotel. Nancy is such a awesome lady she is very caring and just a awesome person to talk to. When I visit meeker colorado again I would not even hesitate to stay at the meeker hotel. To all the staff at meeker hotel wanted to tell you thank you again for a pleasant stay. Rick

The Meeker Hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience small town charm. The history is intriguing and the rooms full of character, complete with creaking wood floors! The hotel was so quiet at night, I slept very well.

We had a wonderful visit in June 2013! The staff was so wonderful and accomodating as we arrived later into the evening than intended. The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. We loved the historic atmosphere. And the breakfast at the cafe was delicious. If we are ever in the area again, we will definately stay!

Wonderful hotel. Hostess was great and walked us to our room and asked if it was comfortable enough for us. Very clean and quiet.

I did enjoy my stay while at Meeker Hotel. The first room I looked at I loved but someone had been smoking on the balcony and I could smell it in the room. The room I finally stayed in was nice but when I came back from supper the staff was gone and I had a problem with my air. The ceiling fan worked but made a loud noise and I was afraid it would fall on me during the night. I also had a small portable fan to use. The next morning I told the staff and they gave me a $20 credit which was fine. I could have called them that night but didn't want to bother them. I figured they couldn't fix the problem that night.... I had to wait a long time to be waited on in the dining area. The lady just kept walking by me. Finally the nice young girl who came and gave me my $20 credit got me a menu and told the lady to wait on me. I would go back.

Staying at your hotel was like staying with family... Family that you like of course!;) The staff was so friendly and helpful, they even washed and folded our son's laundry! It was his first trip at 2 1/2 months old and we weren't prepared for how many outfits he would go through. We were treated so well and were greeted by name as we walked through the door. You have a beautiful town and hotel and we thank you for sharing it with us on our brief visit.;)

Our group consisted of twenty two family members of all ages, and all very high energy people. The Meeker Hotel staff handled the Gordon Family confusion with patience and total support for any requests that we had during the four days we all stayed there. The Meeker Hotel was a DELIGHT! What a super building, with so much history, each room unique. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The café food was great, with a good menu, and the café staff was accommodating. We all agreed that we had such a good experience this time, we all want to come back again for another family reunion. Thank you, Meeker Hotel staff, for your help in making our family reunion a wonderful one!

I can't say enough about our stay at the Meeker hotel. I have never experienced a more pleasant and accommodating staff, especially considering the size of our group. Everyone, from Kimberly and Nancy and the front desk, to all of the staff in the Cafe, and the delightful ladies in housekeeping, exhausted as they were from trying to keep up with all of our needs and the needs of the other guests, went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant experience, even though I would imagine at times we tested their seemingly unlimited patience. I think we all found the Meeker Hotel to be an exceptional place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and very nicely appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were always well maintained by housekeeping. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay, and I think that the rest of our family would agree.

I was fortunate to have found this B&B in Meeker. I stayed for 3 nights and loved it! It takes you back in time 100 years ago in comfort. The service is bar none! I highly recommend booking this hotel!

We had flight delays and were coming in from Denver. We didn't make it to the hotel till 11:30 PM. Blake was kind enough to stay past his 10:00 PM end time to get us checked in. After a long drive, it was MUCH appreciated! He also didn't make us feel bad for making him wait. Loved the ambience of the whole place and food was great!

Discovering this hotel was like finding a gold nugget! If you have grown weary of cookie-cutter motels and enjoy venturing back into a more colorful, slightly wilder past, this hotel is for you. The lobby contains an awe-inspiring collection of mega-fauna taxidermy. (My favorite: a face-off between two porcupines.) Also many photos and documents of historic interest. The reception staff was gracious and helpful. Our room was tastefully painted and decorated. The bathroom was beautifully redone. Everything was spotless. I'm sure the wide-plank floors are original and somewhat creaky, but fun and atmospheric. My whole family would happily come here again. We enjoyed the town of Meeker too. Our stay was like being transported back to a kinder, simpler, quieter past. Thank you!

We stayed at the Meeker Hotel for the Shooter Jennings/Jason Boland/Cody Canada concert. The whole experience was spectacular. the folks at the hotel were beyond wonderful, welcoming and gracious. There were 17 of us so we kind of took over and no one complained. They wre great to put up with us1 Great stay look forward to staying there again!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Meeker Hotel. The historic hotel is full of charm (and taxidermy!) reminiscent of the age of Teddy Roosevelt, who the hotel is very proud to tell you once stayed there. The rooms were clean and adequately furnished. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful when we made requests (like for a hair dryer for the room and coffee supplies for the coffee maker in the lounge).

Thank you SO Much for all of the effort that your staff expended in finding my daughters jade talisman. It was not an economically valuable piece, but it meant a lot to her and her husband. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay. JM

Nancy greeted me and even escorted me to the Gary Cooper Suite. The room was very clean and even though the room was not air conditioned the fan provided good circulation and pleasant sleeping conditions. The dining staff provided free coffee and $3 off breakfast. Overall, our 2 night's stay was a good value. We enjoyed the creaky floors and the historic atmosphere.

The owners have obviously worked very hard to preserve historic charm while providing modern comforts. We would definitely return if ever needing a place to stay in Meeker.

The trouble with antique hotels is that they are old. This hotel was quite historical and the owners have done some really nice things to keep the historical ambiance alive. Great historical pictures and huge animal mounts in the lobby make for a great entrance and first impression. Cafe staff, especially Brittany, were very friendly and ready to please. Some of the renovations were exceptional although my (first) room smelled like cigars and had very poor ventilation even with the windows open all night. It was very difficult to maintain a consistent water temperature in the shower which resulted in a few close calls with scalding water. The owners should probably reduce the main hot water temperature. The lock was broken on my (second) room so security was questionable. Meeker is a great little town and I hope the owners keep working in the right direction with their improvements.

We weren't sure what to expect staying at this historic hotel. The beds were old fashioned but the mattresses were very comfortable. A double bed is small but it was fine for two of us. Very much liked having the twin beds for our teenage children. There is no air conditioning and this wasn't a problem when we visited in June, the ceiling fans were fine. The bathroom was very spacious (Roosevelt suite) and well lit and clean. The Turkish cotton towels were a very nice bonus. We stayed for two nights and it was pleasant.

The Meeker Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable and very cozy. The rustic decor of the lobby really gives the hotel character and was very comfortable to hang out in. The adjoining Meeker Cafe was exceptional for breakfast and dinner. I will definitely come back for another visit.
