My family stayed at the Georgetown Mountain in for 2 nights in July. Was a very comfortable hotel and the staff very extremely friendly and helpful. They were eager to share places to go and see in this small town. The rooms offered all the amenities stated. The pool was nice and warm. This place is walking/biking distance to everything in town with an absolutely beautiful view of the mountains. I would stay there again!

It was wonderful to stay in a real traditional old Colorado hotel, rather than in a chain. The room had some antique furniture and a wonderful bed in which I had a great night's sleep. If one comes in a bit late, there might be a bit of a parking hassle, but that's not a biggie. The pool wasn't working when I was there so that was a slight disappointment, but overall a wonderful one night stay in charming Georgetown. There wasn't any on site dining specifically thus my "low" rating but there was a nice restaurant next door which I did not try.

The vibe here was great. Helpful, easygoing staff. Little pricey, but we went during spring break.

Came in for a 3-night ski vacation and found the place to be adequate.. We didnt eat breakfast there so cannot comment on that, but we are vegetarians and the local diner was not too supportive. But the rooms were nicely appointed and the water was hot and the owner was very helpful in getting us directions and local information. The primary downside was that the room was too hot. Sounds weird but we had to open the window to chill things down, I guess the way the log rooms are constructed, if the other guests decide to heat things up, you get to share the warmth :) But overall, a great value and I would recommend it for a family stay and ski vacation.

The dining is actually next door at The Alpine Inn. Great Food and atmosphere! We had a king room w/futon loveseat. Had been remodeled with the pine beetle blue wood and overlooked the park.

If you want an alternative to a resort town, this is a great option. A charming small town. Good, friendly service. Tasty pizzas at the local restaurant and other options within a few blocks' walk. And Georgetown is only a few minutes' drive from a number of good ski areas.

Front Desk Manager, Dan, did an excellent job getting our room ready in time for 1 hour early arrival. Nice fireplace in the check in area with muffins, coffee, tea and hot chocolate which was great on a cold and snowy day.

The hotel looks a little dated on the outside but the rooms have been redone recently. We had a very nice stay at the GMI. Would go back there.
We have one on the first floor and two on the second floor. These are pet friendly rooms with king beds and fridge and microwave is usually available upon request. Bring the pet for a $10 pet fee per pet per visit. Mountain views all around.
Custom log furniture and two double beds and a twin bed, The frist floor room has the large accessible bathroom as found in the Colorado 2 or three bed rooms and the ADA room. All the amenities and close to the shops, restaurants, and museums of Georgetown. And the mountains.
Remodeled around 2004, these rooms really have the Colorado moountain feel. Blue stain pine paneling and custom log furniture and our full amenities with two queen beds. Also, the bathrooms have been redone to be very large and accessible.

For a cozy getaway, this is on the second floor and is a very quiet end unit with a King size bed and a loveseat Futon. Remodeled around 2004 and comes with blue stain beetle kill pine paneling and log furniture and a fridge and microwave.
Upstairs from the office, so it's fairly private. It's laid out like a one bedroom/one bath apartment with a queen bed in the bedroom and futon and a day bed in the living area so it can sleep up to six. And it has a full and well stocked kitchen. DVD player, too.
King Bed and there are two on the first floor and two on the second floor. One pet friendly upstairs and one on the first floor. Fridge and microwave upon request and availablility.
This style of room has two Double beds and one twin bed so it can easily sleep three to five. Full, private bath. Fridge and microwave. Cable TV with video tapes available. Complimentary wifi and coffee, muffins, and juice. Year round indoor heated pool and outdoor hot tub.
This room has two double beds, designated parking by the ramp from the parking lot and a slight ramp to the room door. The next five rooms are accesssible and have large bathrooms - they just don't have the ramp right to the door. Service dogs have of course been in this room.
