When people ask what my happy place is, I refer to Della Terra. We've stayed here twice and I have fallen in love with this place. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. It has become our anniversary tradition. I highly recommend Della Terra to anyone who wishes to get away from it all.

f you are up for a relaxing, romantic, Colorado time, this is the place! All the other reviews are true about the amazing chateau rooms with walk-in showers, huge bathtubs, and balconies with private hot tubs! We also loved the stereo system in which we hooked up our iPod to listen throughout the room AND on the balcony! AMAZING! I can't even begin to describe the service and breakfast as well! The staff are VERY friendly and it is incredible to hear their story of this vision becoming a reality! My husband and I are thinking of all the people we know that will be getting married to let them know that this is the place! We just about stayed another day in order to eat breakfast again and cheer on the Wildcats with the breakfast chef couple. To begin, croissants were available (filled - AMAZING!), fruit and yogurt parfait next (wonderful!!), and a hot gourmet breakfast! I LOVE IT!! A beautiful indoor reception/dance area as well as an outdoor wedding area with amazing landscapes, mountain views, and ponds. We traveled to Estes with another couple and enjoyed that the Rocky Mountain National Park was only a short, half-mile drive away. We also enjoyed the state-of-the-art Theater room, which is free to reserve, as well as a variety of movies to watch. We're already planning the next trip, and may never be able to go to CO again without staying there!!

I had the pleasure of being surprised with an anniversary get-a-way at the Della Terra. I am a lover of B&Bs and the Della Terra FAR exceeds ANY B&B I've ever experienced. The rooms are spacious yet private. The staff is incredible. The food was exceptional. There is a private theater for reserving and there are tons of movies from which to pick. A spa & sauna are available for guests. The location is practically in Rocky Mountain National Park and the town of Estes Park is close enough for dining and tourist fun but far enough that there's no interference from town. Della Terra is on our list as an annual retreat now. A definite must! A nice alternative to the ski-towns.
