    We arrived just at sundown and just as these HUGE flakes of SNOW started falling. We stayed the week, and what a week it was! GREAT FOOD, GREAT HOSPITALITY, GREAT ROOMS (Especially the BEDS!) Loved the town and all the things to do. DON'T MISS A NIGHT WITH THE BAR-D WRANGLERS!! WHAT A BLAST!! Tell Marvin & Patra "HI!" for us!! Rick & Debi Wright

    You feel like you are 100 miles away from the city, but really you are only 5 minutes away. The location and the grounds are beautiful. The hospitality and warmth at the Inn from the owners is hands down the best. We can't wait to visit again.

    My wife and I stayed two nights in the Stateroom. From the moment we arrived we fell in love. The owners son Mark greeted us and showed us to our room and was so friendly. That night we wanted to go into town and celebrate my wifes birthday but did not know where to go. Mark called his dad down to the main house to give us suggestions for restaurants. The minute we met Marvin and Patra (owners) we felt as if we were talking to family. From the amazingly tasty breakfasts Marvin cooked (quiche, apple walnut pancakes, fresh baked cookies) to the highest level of hospitality, we could not have felt more at home. We will be coming back for years to come and look forward to taking family and friemds. this place should be #1 on trip advisor without a question. We wish we never had to leave. Room Tip: Stateroom is where we stayed. I highly recommend it. It had private patio, kitchen, jet tub. We felt as if we had our own little condo.

    Decided to spend our spring break skiing. What a wonderful trip. Lightner Creek Inn was great. Food was great, rooms cozy and roomie for the 3 of us. Close to town with great shopping and restaurants. 20 min from the slopes just a wonderful trip.

    Charlotte and Carlos are truely awesoome. From the second we arrived we knew this would be a great stay. Lightner Inn is clean, safe and a beautiful property. Carlos is very generous and creative and is a great cook. The beautiful dining area allowed us to watch turkeys while we ate.

    We were there for a bike rally in Mancos. We almost didn't go because riding hurts my husbands injured arm. We are glad we went and stayed at Lightner. We wished that it was just a resting vacation and could have time to take in the property more. Great place with very great people. Thank You!
