Had a Valentine surprise for my wife, actually on Feb 13! Walter is an amazing host. Met us even though we didn't check in till 8:30 and gave us a tour! The Valentine room exceeded our expectations. Jetted 2 person tub and Indonesian decor. Toured on our own the next morning, what a building! Breakfast was outstanding. You will love it here and it's close to many fine Highland restaurants!

We booked 2 nights here for our honeymoon. We had come down to a week before the wedding and decided we did in fact have enough money left over to spend a few nights at a nice bed and breakfast. This was one of the only ones available but after staying here u have no idea why this place is t booked solid for months. Stepping in here is like stepping back in time! It's great to think that they rescued and restored this once condemned by the city mansion. The Kellers are great people and their breakfast is fantastic! The room we stayed in was the valentine suite and it was the most comfortable bed we've ever stayed on. This place is a must for sure!

My boyfriend and I are so busy these days that we rarely get to see each other, even though we live in the same house! So we planned a special Valentine's Day for ourselves - and We chose the Lumber Baron Bed and Breakfast over any other in Denver, and ti MORE than met our expectations. The Building itself is SO incredibly gorgeous, and the history behind it is fascinating - one feels a part of history, and the dense beauty of it in every room. And the owner's work on it, to bring it back in to vibrant life and beauty is breathtaking. There is intricate and beautiful woodwork in every room. The room we stayed in was the Valentine's room, and the highly detailed tik wood carving all over felt so special. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've slept on in years, and my favorite thing : There is a huge bath tub in every room! We roamed the halls, and the tower and reveled in our amazing room, and the breakfast the next morning was fabulous, in an adorable basket prompted to us by phone-intercom instead of a knock. The whole stay was really just so incredibly beautiful and removed from our daily life, that it felt like a whole week vacation into one day. I know I'm gushing here, but I really just can't stop grinning about how beautiful the Lumber Baron is. Thank you so much !

Please pass along my thanks and appreciation for a WONDERFUL evening Saturday night. We all had a fantastic time. The entertainment was great, the comedy hysterical and a great dinner. Your cast members were all amazing. SO talented and funny. Can’t wait to come again and we are all talking about what a great evening this was. The mystery part was extremely well done!
