Purple Mountain Bed and Breakfast & Spa

Excellent place to stay. worth every penny. Chris is great and the breakfast is worth getting up for. very relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

Very nice place with a great, knowledgeable owner. I definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay with really great breakfasts. Close enough to walk to town which we did nightly. The owner and the house dogs are a plus!

It was my companion's first time in Crested Butte and the accomodations at the Purple Mountain Lodge helped capture the essence of the town. The location is convenient to both the mountain and the town while still removed from the hustle and bustle of the main streets.

Such a great B&B! Chris and Mekaylah make the stay truly enjoyable. Chris has a ton of information on the town from history to hot spots and helped map out the perfect hike. We can't wait to go back.

Chris loves the town and will make sure you get everything out of it that you want, especially if you're an active traveler. Great breakfasts and a clean, comfortable place to stay. Don't miss the hot tub or a massage to wrap up your busy day.

My Girlfriend and I planned a trip up for new years. We had such a good time we decided to stay an extra day, Chris was great in making it work for us. A great place to stay while in the CB area. cm

We stay at Purple Mountain Lodge every time we go to Crested Butte - Chris is an excellent host! The rooms are comfortable, the house is spotless and breakfast is always amazing! Looking forward to getting back there soon!

I stayed at the Purple Mountain Lodge this fall while in Crested Butte to do some fishing. Great place!! Awesome of Crested Butte Mountain from breakfast room. Breakfasts were great (biscuits and gravy, banana nut waffles, etc.)!! Owner/operator is a great guy, very knowledgeable about area. Hot tub was great, must be really sweet during winter. In summation, if you stay at the Purple Mountain Lodge you wont be disappointed.

Chris ran a great little friendly inn with wonderful hospitality, breakfasts and a user-friendly kitchen policy too! I definitely recommend his inn for a visit to CB.

Chris is a gracious host and has a beautiful place. The rooms are beautiful and the food was delicious. He is very laid back yet has everything you would ever want or need available.

What a wonderful weekend!! Everything about Crested Butte is fantastic, including our stay at the Purple Mountain Lodge!! B & B owner, Chris Haver has created a comfortable, clean, and relaxing environment for people to enjoy their down time while visting this beautiful little Colorado mountain town. We have already booked our next trip!

My wife, our two Australian Shepherds and I recently spent 4 nights at the Purple Mountain Lodge in Crested Butte, CO. We had a terrific time (as much fun as my wife and I had, I honestly think the dogs had more fun than we did!). The price was very fair. Chris, the owner, was a great host. He was able to make suggestions regarding local dining, hiking trails, etc. The breakfasts were absolutely terrific--great food and lots of variety. The hiking and outdoor activities around Crested Butte can't be beat. The mountain biking, hiking and alpine and nordic skiiing are great. If you want a Bed and Breakfast in an area with easy access to miles and miles of beautiful scenery, mountain passes, and great trails, I highly suggest the Purple Mountain Lodge.

Chris was incredibly friendly and helpful. Though it rained a lot, we made our stay memorable. Great gourmet breakfasts and hiking, biking and restaurant recommendations. I will return.

this was a delightful experience. chris is a wonderful warm host and a fantastic cook. the lodge is very comfortable and inviting and just (mintues) walking distance from town. it made our trip much more pleasant.

The place made our vacation! We have been to Crested Butte several times, but this was our first stay with Chris. He was happy to point us out to the best trails and introduced us to some new restaurants. Our room was just what we were looking for and his breakfasts were great. We did not get a chance to get a massage in, but it sure looked tempting after all the hiking. We highly recommend it and plan on going back.

We recently spent our 22nd wedding anniversary with Chris at Purple Mountain and absolutely loved it. Being from Colorado, we had been to Crested Butte several times before, but we honestly enjoyed this stay the most. Chris always had excellent ideas for biking and hiking trails, restaurants, and other sites. This enriched our stay dramatically. In addition, the gourmet breakfasts that Chris prepared were very tasty and extensive with local items and fresh fruit as well. We would highly recommend Chris and Purple Mountain!
