Central to what to do in Colorado Springs

4.6 on June 26, 2015

This is a beautiful property and is central to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. Also a variety of very good restaurants within walking distance or a short drive to Manitou Springs. The proprietors were very helpful in planning our daily activities. Definitely would stay here again. John and Sue, Gurnee, Il

Very Relaxing!

I stayed at Old Town Guesthouse over Memorial Day Weekend. Both Kim and Dave were such gracious hosts. I immediately felt right at home. The room was very clean and I loved the view of Pikes Peak from the balcony. The steam shower felt great after a long day at Territory Days. The breakfasts were delicious. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Innkeeper Response
Territory Days suffered from unusual rain showers and chill this year...but your (am I OK to mention?) Raptor exhibit drew a crowd! Wow! An American Eagle just a few steps from me. So nice to meet you. So glad you decided to stay with us. Let's hope 2016 is clear and comfortable. D & K. Dave and Kim

kim is an excellent host . showed us around, then to our room . She made sure we had everything and if she could do anything for us. Recommended several local resteraunts when we asked. The room was very relaxing, it was just what we needed. The hot tub was very private and we enjoyed,it very much. We needed to leave earlier than what breakfast is served and when Kim found out she made us a to go breakfast and left it by our door early that morning. Such a special touch! Service beyond compare!

Innkeeper Response
So sorry you had to leave early, but family issues matter more. Any time you return to the area, please call. Ready to see you again!

Amazing place to stay!

We had a one night getaway in one of the rooms with the hot tub on the balcony and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. Having the hot tub on the private balcony was heaven! We will be return customers. A big thank you to Kim and David for exception service!

Innkeeper Response
Hot tub love! Sounds silly, but all our return guests comment most about their HOT TUB or IN-ROOM SAUNA! Enjoy these personal comforts. That's why you're here!

Our stay at Old Town guesthouse was amazing. The food was great, the room comfortable and clean. The service was the best I've had in a long time. Most definitely will stay there again!

Innkeeper Response
Was that the Lobster Quiche morning???? Just kidding...Swiss Cheese and Bacon with Spinach is as close as we get. Too many seafood allergies to accommodate. In the mountains. Go figure.. Will you be back soon?? D&K

Fantastic location in Old Colorado City / Colorado Springs. Very close to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, etc. and in walkable neighborhood of eclectic shopping and dining. Hosts are welcoming and helpful while giving you the space to independently enjoy the property. Breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommended. We'll stay here again the next time we are in Colorado Springs.

"Fantastic location in Old Colorado City / Colorado Springs. Very close to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, etc. and in walkable neighborhood of eclectic shopping and dining." So, people often say "Promote your location!!" I say, everyone does...sometimes not true. Guest verification is so nice!! Yes, we're in the middle of everything. NOT KIDDING! Tkx! Dave

Excellent view and excellent services.

We stayed from Friday to Sunday morning. Our room was the Victorian Rose. What a view. Even sitting in the hot tub you have a perfect view of Pikes peak and Garden of the Gods. The services and food were excellent, and the room was quaint and perfect for the occasion. I would recommend Old Town Guest House to anyone who is looking for a wonderful get away.

Innkeeper Response
WHAT A VIEW, INDEED! So happy to have had you as guests, and hope to see you again soon.

If you are looking for a romantic, peaceful place to get away with your special someone right in the heart of Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs, look no further! This place is absolutely amazing! Each room is unique and cozy, clean and beautiful. Some have a hot tub on the porch and a killer view of Garden of the Gods. The innkeepers, Dave and Kim, are extremely warm and friendly. The bed and breakfast itself is very welcoming, immaculately kept, and cozy. The breakfast was fantastic! This is the PERFECT place to get away from life and have some rest, relaxation and romance. To top it off there are a ton of fun things to do nearby! You are quite literally a walk away from fun, old town shopping and gourmet dining. You are minutes away from adventure as well, since the Cave of the Winds, the Manitou Cliff dwellings and Garden of the Gods are a short drive away. Highly recommend!
