After reading all the other reviews, I was convinced that this place wasn't real. It couldn't exist except in fantasy review land. To our delight, it's real, and it's a great deal. My wife, daughter, and I happened to catch a rare open week for a last minute trip out to the Denver area. After sweating it out in the Texas August heat, Colorado was a breath of crisp air. Tom, Andrew, and Toby the dog were all gracious hosts. The cabin was kept stocked with coffee, hot chocolate, and the finest muffins and bagels in all the land. Tom went out of his way to make sure we knew about all the activities going on in the area to make sure we didn't get bored. The cabin itself was very well furnished and maintained. With all the hiking we did, it was great having a washer and dryer on site. For a last minute, random find, it was an amazing experience.

My husband and I just stayed in Bailey View Cabin over Memorial Day weekend. We couldn't have chosen better place to stay in Colorado!! The cabin is nicely furnished with full kitchen, nice bathroom and comfortable bedroom. The fridge was stocked with bagels, pastries, fruit and sodas and you can also find a basket with snacks on kitchen counter. Kitchen is equipped in full size fridge, glass top stove, pots, pans, glasses, plates and utensils. It is very clean and very quiet. There's a satellite TV and wifi available. Gas fireplace was a nice surprise too. The views from the property are beautiful. Tom, the owner, was above and beyond accommodating, helpful and absolutely one of the nicest people I know. We are hoping to be back in Bailey View Cabin soon! Highly recommended for your next stay in Colorado! Thank you, Tom! Agata & Michael, NY

Bailey View cabin is beautifully furnished and located in a very private location. The property is situated on 40 acres. You have the amenities of technology with the beauty of nature. The owner, Tom, is very gracious. The continental breakfast that was provided was delicious. He also provided some snacks, fresh fruit and soda. We were surprised to say the least with the hospitality. The town of Bailey is very charming. We enjoyed going into town and listening to a local band play at Aspen Peak Cellars Winery. It was a delightful weekend. We have already recommended Bailey View Cabin to one of our close friends along with booking our next weekend get away. YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE!

I wanted to plan a spur of the moment get away for my Love and I to get refreshed for 2014. I called Tom, who answered immediately, and he was exceptionally accommodating and able to get the place ready for us with barely a 24 hour notice. His description over the phone of the cabin was exactly in line with what we experienced when we arrived. Clean, authentic cabin with two plates of yumminess ready for consumption. Tom and his fiancee provided a warm and down to earth atmosphere which is perfect for relaxing. Tom also went way above and beyond helping me coordinate specific activities for us to do during our stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will certainly return in the future

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Bailey View cabin and we can't wait to go back. The cabin is in a lovely, quiet spot. Everything was as neat as a pin, and the fridge was stocked with delicious fruit and pastries for our breakfasts. Tom was accessible, and indulged our wish for an early check-out on a Sunday morning. We can't say enough about this wonderful spot. We've been doing quite a bit of traveling lately, and this cabin was so much more than just a place to stay...it was truly restorative. The gazebo out back is an especially peaceful place to enjoy nature. Having laundry facilities is a plus we didn't expect.

My husband and I stayed at Bailey View Cabin from a Thursday through Monday in May and absolutely LOVED it. It was the most beautiful cabin in the most beautiful setting. We wanted to do many things around the area, but really struggled to just leave the cabin because we loved being there so much. It has a full kitchen so we bought some groceries in order to save on our dining. However, the owner brought us fresh fruit, bagels, turnovers, and snacks every day. He was truly attentive to all of our needs. We loved having coffee out in the patio enjoying the beautiful view. We also hiked up Mount Bailey close by and visited Lake Wellington. The drive to Breckenridge was beautiful and not too far so we made it a day trip. I STRONGLY recommend this cabin if you're looking for a romantic getaway where you can connect with each other and with nature. You get plenty of privacy, amenities, and will love your surroundings. We hope to be back soon!

I recently booked a weekend stay at Cabin View to celebrate our first wedding anniversary 3/22-3/24/13. Tom was very polite, had a great sense of humor, and did his best to make us feel right at home. Upon arrival, (which was late on a snowy night) we checked in and were pleasantly surprised at how well appointed the cabin was. Light and bright throughout, with plenty of windows and gorgeous views! (Bring a camera!) You have privacy and just about every comfort you would have at home. Tom was also considerate enough to get up early and make tracks for us in the snow to get our car back down the road! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the mountains where you receive A class service at a decent price, I would suggest booking a stay here with Tom. We will definitely be back!! :) Mr and Mrs Reeves

My husband and I traveled to Bailey to celebrate our anniversary and do a little house hunting and stayed at the Bailey View Cabin. This was the perfect retreat from our daily lives. The cabin was quiet, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Tom was super accommodating and helpful. We arrived every evening back at the cabin to find food and drinks in the refrigerator and the hot chocolate and coffee stocked full! Not to mention a basket of snacks replenished daily (fruits, cookies, chocolates). Our stay at this cabin well exceeded our expectations and we will highly recommend it to everyone we know if they are headed to the Denver area. Thank you Tom for being so welcoming-- you truly have a hidden gem!

My wife and 7 year old daughter choose this cabin to stay in while on vacation in Colorado. It was more than we expected! It is very clean; contains modern appliances; is comfy and cozy warm even in below zero temps. The cost is almost next to nothing to stay in this cabin. It is located within driving distance of Breckenridge/Keystone (both of which we went to every day). If you stay visit the Cutthroat Cafe right around the corner. They have a home cooked breakfast that is fantastic. The Bailey Cabin is really an awesome place to stay and the owner is very nice and accommodating to any needs. There are fresh muffins and pastries every day; plenty of coffee and cocoa, satellite television and much more. We really enjoyed staying here and plan on staying again possibly during the summer time. We highly recommend Bailey View Cabin to anyone that wants to visit the Colorado mountains but not pay the high prices of the so called "ski resorts".

The time my girlfriend and I had at the cabin was much more spectacular than I had imagined. I surprised her with our wonderful and easy trip from Denver to the Bailey Cabin with the objective just to get away from our busy lives. We ended up having one of the most romantic, relaxing, and peaceful experiences in our relationship. The cabin was extremely well laid out and outfitted it will give any couple or individual the time, space, and peace of mind needed to get away from the hustle bustle of life and regain themselves in the cute lovely location of Bailey nestled in our gorgeous Rocky Mountain range. My girlfriend and I especially enjoyed the fireplace in the living room, waking up to the serene morning light thru our personal backyard of evergreens, the wrap around porch, great hiking areas, and the relaxation of having everything taken care of such as breakfast, laundry and kitchenet at a convenient location, giving us the ideal magical easy lovely vacation getaway :) :)

I have rented several cabins in Colorado, including the Bailey area. Honestly I’ve enjoyed them all, but none (and I mean NONE) were as elegantly-appointed, professionally presented, gorgeous both in and out, and so customer pampering. From decorator blinds to the Kuerig individual coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine (rack of K-cups included) to the plates of bagels, muffins, and croissants to the cabin furniture and finally the covered, outdoor gazebo with table and four chairs, I was absolutely blown away by every detail. Even the tile in the shower is professional grade, the wood floors immaculate, plus a front-loading stackable washer/dryer set, detergent, etc.---I went for a weekend of seclusion to write but the place was so amazing I called my wife and she came up from the city for an afternoon. She also fell in love with the place. It sleeps four (one queen bedroom and a queen sofa/daybed). Satellite television and a nice flat screen above the magnificent fireplace. Currently there is not wireless Internet, however the owners are working on extending the service (so by the time you read this, they'll likely have it working!). Worst case scenario is you head back to the main house and connect for anything important. We have AT&T cell service and it was five-bars 4G the entire stay. There’s a wrap-around deck on two sides with majestic views of the valleys, deep in a pine forest and shaded from the hot sun. Huge windows, gorgeous light and tons of fresh, cool mountain air breezing through the cabin. There’s a daily cleaning/maid service that includes dishes. The rates were OUTSTANDING for the area (particularly for the level of attention and luxury). I cannot recommend the Bailey View Cabin any higher. Tom, of the father/son team, is one of the nicest individuals I've had the pleasure to meet. I really appreciate people who clearly care about others and about doing a great job. BRAVO, Karnowakas! Tom is an excellent host, and the Cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The perfect setting for a getaway in the mountains. We were treated to a doe & fawn who were feeding within a few steps of the cabin. Very comfortable, and very clean.

If your a stickler for detail and as fussy as we are, you will not go wrong here. Owner and son go out of their way to please. Feels like home and then some. Thanks to Tom and Andrew for a a most enjoyable stay! We will be back! Bob & Irena Yoos Carrollton, VA

Plenty of stuff to do around the Bailey area and the owners are very friendly and accomodating. Easy to find. Close to Denver. We'll be back when we can! Thanks!

I had to change our travel plans on very short notice, suddenly needing a place to stay in Bailey instead of Denver, and Tom was most accommodating of our situation. He communicated with me over phone and email before our arrival, ensuring that I had excellent directions and answers to all my questions. The cabin was immaculate, stocked with travel books, take-out menus, snacks, huge breakfast trays, milk and beverages. All of the appliances were modern and in perfect working condition. The fridge was even full-sized, which meant I could grocery shop more and cook food in the fully-equipped kitchen, saving the money we would have had to spend on dining out. Obviously, the cabin is smaller than a normal home, but our family of five did not feel nearly as cramped as one would expect. The layout is a perfect use of space, and even just the use of pocket doors makes everything feel roomier. The closet was more than big enough for all our clothes. Just having a washer, dryer, ironing board and iron available made me feel prepared for anything. The cabin stayed clean all week due to the housekeeping services they provided, and we never ran out of muffins, bagels, fruit, turnovers or snacks all week as they restocked every time they came. The flat-screen TV with satellite, DVD player, remote control fireplace and wi-fi did not get much use on our week-long summer visit, but just go to show how complete the amenities are in this cabin. Even the futon is incredibly comfortable. The view is, of course, amazing. We took several walks during our stay and were never disappointed. I can't really say enough good things about Bailey View Cabin. As seldom as we are able to travel, it's important to me that we get our money's worth. I'm so glad I was lucky enough to find this place.

This property is perfect for a romantic mountain getaway. It is affordable, and only 45 minutes from Denver and about the same to Breckenridge. If you love the outdoors and need some privacy for the weekend, this is the place to go. We were so impressed by the updated and modernized condition of the cabin. Truly a wonderful escape, it was really hard to leave.

In February, my husband and I stayed two days at the Bailey View Cabin for our anniversary. Wow! Our host, Tom Karnowka, went out of his way to make us feel special. The cabin was cozy, immaculate and stocked with delicious snacks and breakfast fare. There is a kitchen, so we made most of our own food, but we did stop at a cute little placed called Coney Island, just a mile or so down the road. It was packed with people at 4:00 pm. They are famous for their hot dogs and shakes. My husband and I even took a little walk around the small but charming town. You can also take a scenic drive (which we did) to Southpark country: Como, Fairplay and Alma. We had great weather during our stay, but I bet it's even more gorgeous in the summer. Tom has a nice deck around the cabin and a little gazebo for a picnic spot. To top if off, Tom gave us a little discount on our stay. If you are looking for a romantic, quiet, inexpensive retreat, I highly recommend the Bailey View Cabin. I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts over the years, but none so far have topped this one for romance! I hope you will check it out. I assure you, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

Tom, the cabin was great for us this weekend. We needed a quiet getaway, and that is what we got. The cabin is very nicely constructed and decorated. There wasn't a detail left out, everything we needed was at our fingertips. We would definetely recoommend this cabin to our friends and family. Thank you.

First of all, Tom (owner) is an incredible and genuinely nice individual. He met us out front, showed us his lovely cabin, threw de-icer on the ground to make sure that our car could get up the driveway (it would have made it without the de-icer, he's just that nice!) and refilled all of our snacks. The cabin is the cleanest I've ever seen. Even the second day the cabin was just as clean as the first. The cabin is lovely. The tv, cable, and blu-ray player made it really nice to sit back and do nothing. We played the games that we found in the closet and enjoyed the snow and wildlife. We had a great time! Thanks Tom. Oh, and Andrew (son) was just as nice and welcoming as Tom.

We stayed in the cabin two consequtive nights. The cabin was completly renovated about a year ago and is even nicer than the pictures. I sat on the deck during the day and watched six mule deer laying near the cabin! The owners were polite and welcoming, while not intrusive. Great place to unwind.

First, let me say that the owner, Tom Kamowka, has created a 5-star experience in the mountains of Colorado. The Bailey View Cabin is an experience you don't want to miss. Wake up in the morning to freshly brewed coffee or tea, yummy pasteries and a view of the mountains you will never forget. If you want to be pampered and feel like you are special, book a stay ( I would recommend two or more days) and come away rested, spoiled and wanting to stay several more days. We celebrated our 36th anniversary at the Bailley View cabin and felt like honeymooners. You won't be sorry!

This was a most wonderful place to get away into the mountains for a weekend. The cabin is located perfectly on the forested side of a mountain within walking distance of the restaurant and business district of Bailey. Tom and Andrew have decorated the cabin with an amazing blend of rustic luxury. Thanks, Tom, for making my stay so wonderful.

We spent the most unbelievable stay in this beautiful cabin and we want to thank the innkeepers for that. In the 46 yrs we have been married, this was by far the nicest place we have ever spent at. Thanks again so very much. Marty and Mary Lou Thieman

My sister and her family from California visited us in Bailey and stayed in the Bailey View Cabin and were so charmed by this great cabin. It had the feel of being away from the every day hustle and bustle, yet the cabin amenities were beautiful and first class! Tom and Andrew did an amazing job of making this cabin a place you want to be! I would highly recommend it to anyone!!
