    Casa Bonita is an old house restored as a bed&breakfast. It is considered a National Monument and is located in the center of Santiago. Casa Bonita offers a cosy environment with a comfortable living and dining room, an interior garden and an internet room. It has 9 suites specially furnished to provide comfort to its guests. All the rooms have excellent beds, WIFI and cable TV. It is run by its owners, a Dutch-Chilean marriage aiming to provide its guests with a quality service for a fair price. Due to its location and infrastructure Casa Bonita is oriented to both tourists and business people.

      Casa Bonita is located in the República neighbourhood, two minutes walking distance from the metro station and the main street of Santiago, the Alameda avenue. Casa Bonita offers an excellent location to explore Santiago. It is a few blocks from the traditional Barrio Brazil, a lively neighbourhood famous for its restaurants, bars and cafes. A couple of metro stations to the east are the La Moneda presedential palace, the Santa Lucia hill and other tourist attractions. For those who want to travel to the south or north of Chile or across the Andes to Argentina, it takes only a few minutes to get from Casa Bonita to the main bus terminals San Borja, Alameda and Los Heroes and to the central railway station.

    My partner and I stayed several times during February 2011 while vacationing in Chile. The photographs are genuine images of the house. Very comfortable beds, soft and inviting linen. The owner Dennis is friendly, approachable and helpful. Really good standards.

    This summer I went with my husband to Santiago and we stayed at Casa Bonita. In the moment we entered the house we were amaized by the beauty of the house. Casa Bonita is an old house restaured perfetly and furnished with excellent taste. The rooms are really beautiful with very nice decoration, excellent natural light and confortable beds and pillows. The breakfast is quite complete with nice and fresh coffee and served by Dennis the inkeeper. Really nice person always willing to help and give nice tips about Santiago. I totally recomend Casa Bonita for your stay in Santiago. Thank you Dennis and Carolina for such a nice stay in your beautiful B&B.

    One of the nicest hosts we have come across and also such great rooms and beds. We highly recommend people to stay here as it is close to everything including the subway which will take you everywhere. Great restaurants a short stroll away and the breakfasts were also top notch. We are telling all our friends and family about this great place.

    My husband and I stayed at the Casa Bonita, April 2009 for 3 nights and it was wonderful. Dennis and Carolina ( the owners) were wonderful. They were more than happy to give us information about everything from sightseeing to local markets. The room was very large, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect with fresh squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs ( Dennis makes awesome eggs!), warm bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, mueseli...coffee, tea... The location is so close to the metro, it is simple to get around. I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone staying in Santiago.

    I really liked the B&B... its near the metro station, the rooms are so comfortable,great breakfast and the owners Dennis and Carolina are very nice people.
