Nearby attractions include visit to the local wineries and trecking to the mountains This cozy country bed-and-breakfast has beautiful gardens in which to relax or read a book. The kitchen offers daily homemade delights, And if you want, the staff can provide a picnic to enjoy while you are out.

This Hotel is located about 40 minutes south of Santiago downtown in a place known as Pirque. It is for those who loves peace and nature instead of standard hotel rooms in the middle of the cities. This Hotel is located about 40 minutes south of Santiago downtown in a place known as Pirque. It is for those who loves peace and nature instead of standard hotel rooms in the middle of the cities. The hotel is pretty near from the famous viña Concha Y Toro (less than 5 minutes) where you can have a 1h30 visit with wine and cheese tasting. I went there with my wife for 4 days and I can assure you that it is very clean and cozy and the owner's treatment is wonderful. The breakfast is great!

We were pleasantly surprised with the accomodations and hospitality at El Magnolio B&B. Although a little hard to find, the setting is wonderfully peaceful and well situated for wine country and Cajon el Maipo touring. The building is a wonderful refurbished old adobe. Rooms are large and pleasant. Mary was very helpful with directions and reservations. Plan on eating in transit or at the B&B as there are no restaurants close by. Highly recommended.

Oct 5, 2008 We had a wonderful week staying at El Magnolio in the beautiful house run Mery Hern as a bed and breakfast. The accommodation was, for many reasons, among the best we have stayed in, anywhere in the world. The house was beautifully furnished and decorated with comfortable rooms and was spotlessly clean. Mexican touches to the decor gave colour and warmth. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with beautiful pillows and linen. The towels, always an indicator of a generous and well run establishment, were excellent. Mery provided flavoursome homemade meals,introducing us to some Chilean specialties. Mery couldn't do enough to help us. On top of all this we really felt we were staying with our best friend, such was the hospitality and the great conversations at the dining table. We were truly sad to leave. We would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation for people touring in this area.
