Beautifully restored 19th century chateau convienently located between the Touraine, Poitou and Berry regions. The chateau is just 9 km from the spa town of La Roche Posay (tennis, golf, casino, horse riding), and other nearby attractions include the natural park of Brenne, (15kms), Futuroscope (55kms), and the chateaux of the Loire valley (80kms). This large property is surrounded by its own private 4.5 ha park, where you are likely to see peacocks, and as you wander through its tree-lined alleys. The park boasts a large lake with a resident colony of swans and ducks as well as hundred-year old redwoods. You can fish for carp or take a boat rowing out on the lake. This family mansion built in 1850 and the 17th century mill will allow you to stay in calm, and to relax in peaceful and green surroundings, in the heart of the Kings valley. The house is situated by the river Indre canal, in the middle of a 1 hectare park planted with trees. There you can fish and discover the mill in its original condition.
