The chateau is just 9 km from the spa town of La Roche Posay (tennis, golf, casino, horse riding), and other nearby attractions include the natural park of Brenne, (15kms), Futuroscope (55kms), and the chateaux of the Loire valley (80kms). This large property is surrounded by its own private 4.5 ha park, where you are likely to see peacocks, and as you wander through its tree-lined alleys. The park boasts a large lake with a resident colony of swans and ducks as well as hundred-year old redwoods. You can fish for carp or take a boat rowing out on the lake. The Castle also has a large heated swimming pool (15mX6m). Inside the chateau, are two large receptions rooms, a library, TV, fire place, games room (pinball, pool, fussball and ping pong tables).
