Brown Street InnIowa City, IA

"Iowa Elegance"

"We picked this inn out of many other reviewed B&Bs and were not disappointed. It is very tastefully decorated both downstairs and in the bedrooms. The host was very welcoming, friendly and knowlegeable about Iowa City. We had a small refrigerator in our room and soft drinks and also access to teas and coffee. The breakfast was continental style with wonderful homemade pastries, breads, granola fruit and hardboiled eggs. The B&B location is close to downtown and the house where Kurt Vonnegut stayed while at the U of I is next door. There is parking behind the house and on the street."
