Welcome to Argyle Manor Bed and Breakfast located in the historic Walkerville area of Windsor, Ontario. We are sincerely excited to be your hosts, and are committed to making your stay with us as pleasant and rewarding as possible by providing you with the utmost in thoughtful service. In addition to exceptional accommodations, we offer a complete breakfast menu with everything made to your taste and desires. Our beautiful Georgian Manor was built in 1923 as a rectory of St. Anne's Church located at the corner of Richmond Street and Argyle Road. As such, it was constructed with the comfort and well-being of the priests in mind, and no detail was spared. We have attempted to preserve the original flavor of the rectory while updating the facilities with modern amenities. All rooms and suites contain their own private bathrooms. The Walkerville area is ideally located within easy reach of all that Windsor has to offer: •Restaurants, •Historic sites, •Airports •The beautiful water front on the Detroit River, •Shopping malls and more. We are within minutes of downtown Windsor with its Casino, Art Gallery, Odette Sculpture Garden, theatres, shopping, and fine restaurants. The tunnel entrance linking us to the United States is located in downtown Windsor and the Ambassador Bridge is only five minutes further away. We can expand on these and many other interesting aspects of Windsor and area. We hope to see you soon!

We have three bedrooms each with a queen size bed and a private bath. There is a common room on the main floor where guest can mingle. On weekends, refreshments will be served in the afternoon and/or the evening. In the morning, you will receive a full American style breakfast featuring fresh fruit, freshly brewed ground coffee, spiced teas, and homemade specialties of the day. During the week, refreshments will be served in the evening only. A European style breakfast will be served in the morning consisting of fresh brewed coffee, tea, and assorted pastries and rolls. Special arrangements can be made for a romantic picnic, your room filled with your favorite bouquets, or a special box of chocolates. 932 Penniman is a lovingly restored 1903 historical home which combines the elements of Queen Anne Victorian, Arts and Crafts and Neo-Gothic architectural styles. You will enjoy the sweeping oak staircase, hidden pocket doors, seven bay windows and original oak woodwork. 932 Penniman is conveniently located to downtown Detroit, Metro Airport and Ann Arbor hospitals and universities. 932 Penniman -a bed and breakfast- stands at the gateway to fashionable tree-lined Penniman Avenue in a neighborhood of elegant classic homes. One short block away, the charming historic city of Plymouth offers fine specialty shops, restaurants, galleries, picturesque Kellogg Park Square with a beautiful fountain, and even a neighborhood movie theater which still serves real butter on the popcorn. Plymouth is also home to numerous festivals and gatherings such as January's International Ice Sculpture Spectacular and July's Art in the Park. Browse the streets and shops while enjoying the small town charm and hospitality which is Plymouth. At 932 Penniman, you can linger by the fireplace in the reception hall, enjoy a snack in the Victorian parlor, browse in the well-stocked library/music room or lounge on the glassed-in wraparound front porch. Each common room is a comfortable spot for reading, playing games, listening to music or catnapping.

This wonderful combination is the result of fulfilled dreams met by Nate and Linda Brinkman. In 2001, after 30 years of marriage Nate Brinkman purchased a 1/8 scale Boston and Maine live steam engine. Soon after he convinced Linda to allow him to lay some 7 1/2" gauge track to be able to run his train at Home. Before she knew it, he had surrounded their little 1100 square foot home with 2300 feet of railroad track. Being a welder by trade, he began to build passenger cars and a transfer table to allow other people to run their engines on his track. Linda Brinkman quickly realized that this life long dream would only compliment her dream of owning a Bed and Breakfast. Creating the space required would mean a major renovation to their little home, so in 2002, Linda, a remodeling contractor, increased their 1,100 sq. ft. home to almost 3200 sq. ft. It was an overwhelming undertaking, but once it was completed the whole Greater Toledo area was taking it in. Several newspaper article have been written about their projects and even a television interview was done. Linda and Nate are enjoying every minute and would like to share what they have with you.

Built in 1886, the Bishop's Cottage was the summer home of Espiscopal Reverend Gershom Mott Williams. Restoration of the house has taken place utilizing the original wood floors and walls. The interior has been decorated with a comfortable cottage atmosphere giving a cozy feeling. The 800 square foot parlor is paneled in chestnut and has a warm fireplace. Cottage grounds feature a beautiful garden to provide a peaceful enclave for relaxation. The entire cottage and grounds are available for executive retreats, family gatherings, and special occasions such as bridal showers, dinner parties, or small weddings.

The Kirk's Bed and Breakfast started out as a duplex on a quiet, tree lined street and about eight years ago they the Kirk's converted it into an exceptional hospitably B & B welcoming guests. The B&B is reknowned for extraordinary service and great attention to detail. The home is situated one block from the scenic Detroit River in the Old Town of Walkerville area of Windsor.
