"I stayed two nights at the Inn during my recent visit to Portland, ME. The first night, I was in a single room, and the second night, in a twin (Queen and Double). The rooms were clean and cosy, and the twin room was very spacious. I have stayed in hotels in Europe with a quarter of the floor space for twice the price! The private hall baths for single rooms was a touch of genius, as it allows guests to have their own bathroom even if it is not ensuite. Also, the housekeeping staff appear to have black belts in origami, and the first thing that struck me was the care taken into folding the towels and loo rolls into decorative patterns. I felt almost guilty to use anything in there! I also love the fact that they have a a small but comfortable lobby with free coffee, tea, water and cookies, to make waiting a pretty pleasant experience."
