Weaverville Hotel
Located in the midst of the beautiful Trinity Alps Wilderness with its gorgeous vistas and hiking trails, Weaverville dates back to Gold Rush. The hotel (on historic Main Street), was built originally in 1863, and last burned to the ground in 1880. In the last three years it has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to its original high ceilings and wood floors, furnished luxuriously with antiques, but with modern showers and air conditioning in all rooms. The sense of history, the understated elegance, the unexpected old-fashioned hospitality and comfort, make it a destination for seekers of luxury, romance, and tranquility.
