The Lavender Suite: Not to hard to see how we came up with the name! The scent of lavender bushes outside the picture window fill this colorful room that has it's own bathroom, ceiling fan, armoire, cable TV, a and cozy window-seat. You'll sleep so well in this King-size bed that we might have to wake you up!The Buena Creek Room: With your own entrance and private patio, Queen-size bed and cable TV. Antique armoire and piano. The bathroom with tub and shower is down the hall, but it's all yours!
Private patio for the Buena Creek Room guests. The Reed Ranchero is a funky California Ranch-style home set in the rolling foothills of North San Diego offering two rooms filled with fun, oddities and a few bona fide antiques.Chairs and a fire pit are scattered around the property, so you can lounge all over the place while surrounded by tall trees, lavender bushes and an ocean breeze. Ahhhh, it doesn't get much better than this.
The California 'Great Lawn' is perfect for horseshoes, Bocce Ball, croquet or just lying in the hammock and contemplating your next adventure.Relax in the sunshine and watch the hummingbirds nip at the hibiscus or read one of the many books in the Reed's library--- just make sure you do it in the sunshine!
Enjoy a gourmet breakfast in the Provincial-style dining room or on the sunny patio or even the covered veranda. Start your morning of site-seeing off right with eggs benedict with local fruit, Almond French Toast or the house specialty, Machaca con Huevos.Enjoy afternoon tea or other beverages in the sitting room where you can curl up on the window seat and read a great book, enjoy the garden view surrounded by art, or relax in front of the fireplace on a rare cold night.
Enjoy a fire in the large room---when and if it ever gets cold--- while you read a good book and sip a tasty libation.
