Stay in a rare 1869 historic mansion in Vallejo—the only one of its kind. The mansion sits on top of a hill on an acre of manicured land. The architecture (Second Empire Italianate) is beautiful, unique and the only one you will find in the City of Vallejo. It offers panoramic views of the City of Vallejo, the waterways of San Francisco Bay, Mare Island and the picturesque hills. You can see the Bay Ferry float by as it transports passengers to nearby San Francisco and back. Get lost in time inside the mansion where you will find fine furniture and accessories of the period. Step into the two adjoining parlors with matching Italian marble fireplaces and breath taking unique gold leaf light fixtures. The Starr Mansion is serene, warm and welcoming. Enjoy our welcome treat after check in. We offer your choice of beverage: glass of wine, tea, coffee or hot chocolate.Front of the Starr Mansion with the original carriage house to the left.
