My husband and I recently stayed at the Log House Lodge for our Wedding Anniversary. Mauriene and Tim made sure we had an enjoyable and memorable stay. We felt as if we were favorite family members that had come to visit for the weekend. Whether you want to sight see around the nearby National Park, shop some quaint shops or dine at a restaurant on the river....this Bed and Breakfast is in such a great location and has it all! Mauriene's breakfasts were outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit! Cathy and Darrell A.

Maureen is a wonderful host, very friendly and outgoing. She welcomed us into her home, showed us around, gave us information about the area, what to see, where to eat and what to stay away from. She wasn't wrong either. We were absolutely 100% pleased with our accommodations and would do it again without hesitation. The Log House Home is a wonderful place to begin and end your day. Thank you Maureen! You made our trip to the National Parks a fun and relaxing time despite the government shutdown. You're a wonderful person and we'd love to come stay with you again. We really enjoyed getting to know you a bit. May God bless you and your husband in the days ahead. We hope to see you again! Bill & Chris; Hagerstown, MD.

Maurine is a very gracious and knowlegeable host. She was very helpful with directions for everything from the parks to her suggested places to dine. We stayed in the High Sierra room and found it quite comfortable. It does have a shared bathroom but that was never an issue. The rooms are filled with many interesting items, maybe a little too much as you really can't focus on just one item. Breakfasts where very good and she did want to accomodate any personal preferences. So close to the park but not actually in the park - a great location! Lovely porch to watch the sun set over the mountain, the cats might even join you there. We had a wonderful time at this B&B.
