We stayed in mid-December for our 19th Anniversary, and it was all we could have hoped for and more. We stayed in the Dream Catcher, and it was fabulously cozy, quiet, romantic, and a wonderful escape. We plan on returning and staying again, many times. The breakfasts were also top-notch.

Our first stay was April of 1995. Our wedding day. We got snowed in. The food is great. A block away from the water. They have cookies, coffee, wine and movie rentals included in the price. Our second stay was April of 2008 for our anniversary. We stayed in our same cabin which was remodeled with a jacuzzi, It was great. Nice dinner restaurants in walking distance. Would highly recommend. We cant wait to go back. The Browns

From the moment we pulled into the quaint little cottage village we were immediately engulfed by the cozy warmth this bed and breakfast has to offer. The staff was exceptionally warm and inviting as were the wonderful rooms. This location offers a very filling breakfast and wine and cookies in the evening. Overall this was a wonderful vacation and we will defiantly be returning soon hopefully!!!

We stayed here in the Home Suite Home room in October 2006. This place is really charming. It is outside of the downtown area of Tahoe City but close enough to go there for dinner. The outside of the individual buildings is like being in an enchanted forest! Our room was very comfortable. (Word of caution, though...we arrived later in the evening and staff was only there about an hour more after our arrival. They had the gas fireplace of and they told us that they were having a problem with it. It is the only source of heat in the room and was contolled by a thermostat. The fireplace came on and never went off! Someone had hit the little black button below it, which you can hardly see, and it overrode the thermostat keeping the fireplace on without cycling off. It quickly became very uncomfortably warm in the room even with all the windows open! The next day someone came to look at it with my husband and they discovered the button which rectified the problem. Unfortunately, it was so hot in the room that we could not sleep that night. To the innkeeper's credit, they gave us a bottle of nice wine the next day and took $30 off the price of the room.) The room was nicely decorated and had nice little touches like scented oils for the jacuzzi tub. The breakfast they offered was very nice. A choice of juices, breads, really good granola and a different hot entre every morning. And lots of great coffee! Even though we had a problem with the fireplace, given the chance we would definitely stay here again. It was the most charming place we have ever stayed.
