Barretta Gardens Inn Bed & Breakfast
The Inn is an elegantly restored Victorian home, furnished with antiques, central air-conditioned, built at the turn of the 19th Century in the city of Sonora with only a ten minute walk to the center of town. Guests enjoy strolling through our gardens, relaxing on the porches or in one of our guest parlors. Each morning a full gourmet breakfast is served. The Inn is recommended in Best Places of Northern California, Karen Brown's Charming Inns of California and has 3 diamonds from Triple A. The "Inn" was voted "Best Breakfast in the Southwest 2005".

From San Francisco Airport, drive south Route 101 to the San Mateo Bridge East (highway 92). Cross the bridge and go North 880 to East 238 which will connect with Route 580 East. 580 becomes 205 East. Watch for signs for 120 direction Oakdale. 120/108 goes directly to Sonora. Take downtown Sonora exit which ends at Washington St (RT.49), take a right on Washington and the first left after at Church St. Go to end of Church St. which is Baretta St, right on Barretta, go five blocks, inn on right, parking just after the inn. - Nearest major airport: San Francisco, CA (SFO)

We do have two rooms that can be combined with the upstairs parlor to form a two bedroom suite. The Cabernet Sauvignon Suite also has an adjoining plant filled sitting room/solarium with a wall of windows and decorated in white wicker furniture that is rented as a suite with a separate entrance.

Policies
- Minimum stay required (A minimum of two days is required on Holiday Weekends)
- Smoking is allowed in limited areas (Smoking is allowed on our front and back porches only)
- We cannot accommodate guest pets
- Limitations on children staying (We can accomodate children, but most rooms have only one bed)
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted (our guests can bring wine, etc. with them if they so choose.)
- Deposit amount required (A 50% deposit is required to hold a reservation. You can send a check or hold the room with a credit card.)
- Check in time is 4- 6 PM and Check out time is 11 AM
- Cancellations:
14 days notice is required to cancel reservations without charge. Reservations which are cancelled with less than 14 days notice will be charged the full amount but given a "rain check". However, if we are able to re-rent the room, there will be no charge. This policy also applies to gift certificates. Check-in is between 4 & 6 pm daily,unless otherwise arranged. Check-out is 11 am. Special arrangements can be made outside of these hours. - Accepted by the following agencies:
