From Highway 99 take Highway 41 North to the Friant Rd. exit. Turn right. Take Friant Rd. approximately 18 miles to a stop sign, which is Auberry Rd . Turn left (following Shaver Lake sign). Take Auberry Rd. approximately 10 miles to the next stop sign in Prather. (Turn left onto Tollhouse Rd. Turn left at next stop sign, Hwy. 168, (following Shaver Lake sign). Stay on Hwy. 168 up the mountain until you get to the village of Shaver Lake. The Elliott House is on the left side of the street, in the center of town. - Nearest major airport: Fresno, CA (FAT-Fresno Air Terminal) 50 miles

Take McKinley Avenue to freeway, Hwy 168 East. Continue on the 2-lane road when the freeway ends. Take that past the the Prather intersection, At the stop sign, turn left at the bottom of the 4-lane, (Hwy. 168), following the Shaver Lake sign.
