From the moment we arrived, we felt like we found a little bit of paradise in Sonoma County. We couldn't believe we could be so close to home and feel so far away. It was the perfect romantic getaway. We stayed in the Enchanted Forest room which is large and luxurious. All the amenities are top of the line. I wanted to take the bed with all the pillows and linens home with me! The breakfasts were beyond superb and Hilary accommodated all my dietary needs without any loss of creativity. I can't say enough about this enchanting place with delightful hosts. We can't wait to stay there again!

This is a tranquil, beautiful location. We stayed in Guenevere's Tower, which is apart from the main B&B house. It was private and perfectly set up. There is a brook/stream that runs right outside the window and makes for a very soothing background. The owners are fantastic and extremely personable. I am not generally a people person but really enjoyed not only them but chatting with the other guests at the table every morning. The food is specially prepared and, if you have any sort of food issue, they'll accommodate it. We have stayed at other B&B's in the area, this one is at the very top.

Stay was fantastic. The McCalla's are wonderful hosts and were born to run a B&B as fine as The Avalon!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Avalon last week celebrating retirement. It was our first B&B experience and it was wonderful. We stayed in the Enchanted Forest room. Hilary, Gary and AJ made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts Hilary made were fantastic. This is a great place to stay.
