The Pacific Blue Inn is my go to destination whenever I'm in Santa Cruz. The beds are super comfortable and I sleep with the upper windows open and listen to the gentle sound of water from the courtyard fountain. Breakfast is incredible, the home made popovers with house made hazelnut butter and jam is a can't miss. The staff has always been warm and helpful, Alex took great care of me last trip. I recommend this to anyone traveling on business or pleasure when you want to get away from the boardwalk noise.

In this day and age of less for more, the Pacific Blue Inn not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The staff, the room and especially Chef Alex were great. My wife told me more than once , " Good job honey", referring to my choice of accomodations. You know the saying, "Happy wife, happy life". Those that claim the location is "Sketchy" have lived a sheltered life and need to get out more. Close enough, but not to close to both the boardwalk and downtown, I found it to be almost perfect. Michael & Marija, keep up the standards that you are operating under now and the success of PBI is as good as guaranteed. We will be returning soon.

Elise was super helpful, recommending lots of great dinner options. We were a little disappointed that the bike's were out for servicing, so we couldn't use them. The breakfast lived up to all the reviews - delicious and filling!

The breakfast was very good and the location is within walking distance of downtown and the boardwalk. However, the Inn is right next to an apartment complex, which had some noisy tenants and it was rather noisy late at night too just from street people and in general.

Thoroughly our stay. Convenient to downtown Santa Cruz. The full breakfast provided was excellent.

Cute inn, nice rooms, tranquil courtyard with bamboo/fountain/firepit. Nice staff. Delicious and large breakfasts. Convenient location walking distance both to the beach/boardwalk and to downtown.

Very cute B&B. Would stay again, and recommend to friends! Loved the apple coffee cake, and the berry tarts! Definitely would include the meal next time.

We arrived after hours and were left a key card in the lock box. Once we figured out how to get into Pacific Blue thru the back door all was well. This place has only 9 rooms which is nice because it was always quiet. Each room has a little table with chairs just outside the room. The room was clean and the shower expansive. The staff was just wonderful. We never really checked in or out we were just there and welcome which was a really nice change from other places where you have to stand around and wait to check in. The $30 breakfast was very good, and while that seemed a lot to pay for breakfast it was worth it. The location of the Inn is just about perfect. If we were to stay in Santa Cruz again we would definatly stay at the Pacific Blue Inn.

The inner courtyard and simple decor gives a pleasant feeling of a retreat. The breakfast fare was fresh and tasty, and healthy (if you leave the sugar and butter off the popovers.) Very friendly staff on arrival and during breakfast.
