Inn By The Harbor

  • Inn Details

Nestled among tropical gardens beneath the swaying palms, the Inn by the Harbor is an enchanting Santa Barbara escape. Many also feature full kitchens, which make them ideal for family vacations and extended stays. The Inn serves a deluxe continental breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, and evening milk and cookies. The Inn by the Harbor is within walking distance of many Santa Barbara attractions including West Beach and the beachfront bike path, the yacht harbor, Stearns Wharf, and the vibrant shops and cafes lining State Street. Golf courses, wineries, and the Santa Barbara Mission are all just minutes away.

    Nice, but not traditional B&B

Stayed one night here. Nice, clean and breakfast was OK. This is an old motel, refurbished very nicely (and with kitchenettes!) but it is NOT what you think of when you think B&B. The nice picture with the dolphin in the foreground had the photographer with his back to an extremely busy road leading to the freeway. As another reviewer mentioned the photos available show nicer and more updated than other parts of the hotel. You should also check all rates. I found a better rate with standard reservation ($130) then I did with AAA rate ($170) so try some different rates if you want to stay here. I rated the value a bit low as I was expecting a more traditional B&B and found the rate charged to be a bit high for what was provided.

    Pleasent stay

We spent a weekend in this B&B and overall had a very nice time. It is not as luxurious as it appears on the pictures, but very comfortable and attentive service. Considering prices in Santa Barbabra, it was also well priced. If I could afford it again, I would go back anytime :)
