Cheshire Cat Inn
The Cheshire Cat Inn & Spa features two stately Queen Anne Victorians, an elegant Coach House with two suites, three 2-bedroomed cottages and a Spa rooms offering full massage and body treatments, all surrounded by lush flower-filled gardens and patios. The Inn is just one block from Santa Barbara¿s main shopping street, which is full of attractive courtyards and alleys. The Old Mission is an easy 20-minute walk in one direction and the beach, a brisk 40 minutes in the other. Each one of the sunny guest rooms and cottages is uniquely furnished and ranges from the elegant to the whimsical. Some are larger split-level junior suites with private balconies; others have in-room Jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Other amenities may include TV/VCRS, ironing boards and refrigerators. The Victorian guest rooms have been decorated with Laura Ashley wallpapers and fabrics and English antiques, while the cottages have oak floors, oriental rugs, pine furniture and Eddie Bauer down comforters. All the rooms have private baths and direct-dial telephones. Rates include breakfast and hors d¿oeuvres and local wines served in the afternoon.

From Los Angeles/San Diego Take Highway 101 North Bound. When in Santa Barbara take the Arrellaga St. exit. Continue four blocks to Chapala St. (Chapala St is a one way street going left). Turn left on Chapala St. for one block to Valerio St. The Cheshire Cat Inn is located on the corner of Chapala St and Valerio St.
From San Francisco/Monterey Take Highway 101 South Bound. When in Santa Barbara take the Mission St. exit. Turn left on Mission St. and continue five blocks to State St. (six stoplights). Turn right on State St. for three blocks to Valerio St. Turn right on Valerio St. for one block and you will see the Cheshire Cat Inn on your right at the end of the block.
From Train Station, Wharf and Beach Drive North on State St. (towards the mountains) for 1 ½ miles to Valerio St. Left on Valerio St. for one block and you will see the Cheshire Cat Inn on your right at the end of the block
