Our stay there was a wonderful experience. We had the Angle Porch room; it was very private and the fireplace made it very romantic. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were very gracious and friendly and will tell you all about the house - it's worth hearing about! The original builder-owner was a well-known architect. The house was built in 1891 and is almost entirely untouched since then - it's beautiful. You are served breakfast at the original dining room table where Julia Morgan sat with Mr. Coxhead many a time! The downtown district is nearby and there are lots of great places to eat. We highly recommend the Clay Pot - great Indian food.
