Step inside the cobblestone courtyard and find yourself transported to the rustic charm and colors of Provence. We have both lived and traveled throughout Europe and have sought to recreate a feeling of European comfort and ease, with touches of whimsy, in our newly remodeled Bed et Breakfast. Freshly brewed coffee and a full gastronome breakfast will be served to you each morning in our inviting dining room, or in the sun filled back patio.Every evening you can relax and enjoy a tasting of Local and French wines paired with delectable appetizers. We enjoyed our short stay in SLO, just a few blocks from the main shopping district and the Thursday night market! Close drive to the 5 beach cities. And Splash shares the parking lot. We were in the Van Gogh room on the end is decorated with replicas of his work, even the yellow room on the shower curtain and cute linens from Provence covering the windows. The staff were very friendly and served many glasses of wines. Hors d'ouevres were delicious and tasty! You won't miss the breakfast with sounds of fun chatter and delicious scents of the breakfast wafted up to our room overlooking the crowded patio. We were offered 2 breakfast choices and lots of bakery items, fresh cut fruit, juices, and coffee at the buffet bar. John and Dianne were graciously serving breakfast! Thank you!

Spent last weekend there getting our son moved and ready for another year at Cal Poly. Had our Golden Retriever with us and we were treated like royalty. From the moment we ck'd in, to the wine tasting to breakfast the following morning, WoW, what an awesome time. Due to our work my wife and I have had to spend a lot of time on the road both domestically and international and still we cannot say enough about Petit Soleil. Sunday morning I took my dog out for her morning "thing" and between the appearance of the establishment, the smells coming out of the kitchen, the low hanging fog I wld have bet serious money I was in a BnB in southern Germany, France or any of the beautiful spots we've been fortunate enough to experience. Lastly, cannot say enough about the owners and staff.....we came as strangers and left as friends we plan on seeing time and time again ! Yes, it may be a ill' pricey to do every time we visit our son, but the lasting experience and feelings, especially on Monday morning when we are back working tells me we will go as often as we can and hey......son may just have to start helping a little with the tuition !! :0) T and I from Fresno

We stayed at this amazing B&B for our 10 yr anniversary last week and I can't wait to go back! The rooms were beautiful, the food was fantastic, the service was impeccable hydrant friendly, and the hotel itself was absolutely adorable and charming! The owners have a great thing going on at Petite Soleil :) If you are going to stay in SLO, STAY HERE, you won't be disappointed :)

We stayed in the Chocolat Room on October 16, 2011. We enjoyed our stay - the desk clerks were friendly and accommodating. The B&B is French Country and well designed. Being on a main street the traffic is a bit of a problem but closing the windows really blocks out the sound of traffic. The beds are comfortable, rooms very clean. The breakfast is great! Highly recommended.

My husband and I love Petit Soleil for the friendly atmosphere, delicious breakfasts ( we own 2 of their cookbooks), and great location, walking distance to downtown SLO. We also greatly enjoyed using their bicycles to tour around the town and over to the rail trail. We will be returning to this B&B in December, when we travel by train up the coast. Love it!

The room and the staff were fantastic. We enjoy road biking and the location of the Inn was perfect for our daily adventures. There is a bike shop right across the street and Petit Soleil has storage for bicycles on site. We spent quite a bit of time in Morro Bay and look forward to cycling there on our next visit. Breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed a relaxing glass of wine on the patio in the afternoon. Immaculate facility within walking distance to the nightlife and shopping. I would recommend this B&B.

Dianne and her generous staff will treat you as though they were waiting for your arrival. Our "chantecleer" room was decorated with style and comfort (and roosters) in mind. This attention to detail is the theme for the rest of the inn, such as a cobbled courtyard and tables in the patio with a corner lawnswing. Morning breakfast with a selection of pastries and hot, freshly cooked items and an evening wine and snack are a couple of the opportunies offered to meet your fellow travelers. Don't miss the Thursday evening Farmer's Market and ask Dianne to turn you on to her favorite wineries. I look forward to a return trip soon.
