Spent last weekend there getting our son moved and ready for another year at Cal Poly. Had our Golden Retriever with us and we were treated like royalty. From the moment we ck'd in, to the wine tasting to breakfast the following morning, WoW, what an awesome time. Due to our work my wife and I have had to spend a lot of time on the road both domestically and international and still we cannot say enough about Petit Soleil. Sunday morning I took my dog out for her morning "thing" and between the appearance of the establishment, the smells coming out of the kitchen, the low hanging fog I wld have bet serious money I was in a BnB in southern Germany, France or any of the beautiful spots we've been fortunate enough to experience. Lastly, cannot say enough about the owners and staff.....we came as strangers and left as friends we plan on seeing time and time again ! Yes, it may be a ill' pricey to do every time we visit our son, but the lasting experience and feelings, especially on Monday morning when we are back working tells me we will go as often as we can and hey......son may just have to start helping a little with the tuition !! :0) T and I from Fresno

We stayed at this amazing B&B for our 10 yr anniversary last week and I can't wait to go back! The rooms were beautiful, the food was fantastic, the service was impeccable hydrant friendly, and the hotel itself was absolutely adorable and charming! The owners have a great thing going on at Petite Soleil :) If you are going to stay in SLO, STAY HERE, you won't be disappointed :)

We stayed in the Chocolat Room on October 16, 2011. We enjoyed our stay - the desk clerks were friendly and accommodating. The B&B is French Country and well designed. Being on a main street the traffic is a bit of a problem but closing the windows really blocks out the sound of traffic. The beds are comfortable, rooms very clean. The breakfast is great! Highly recommended.

My husband and I love Petit Soleil for the friendly atmosphere, delicious breakfasts ( we own 2 of their cookbooks), and great location, walking distance to downtown SLO. We also greatly enjoyed using their bicycles to tour around the town and over to the rail trail. We will be returning to this B&B in December, when we travel by train up the coast. Love it!

The room and the staff were fantastic. We enjoy road biking and the location of the Inn was perfect for our daily adventures. There is a bike shop right across the street and Petit Soleil has storage for bicycles on site. We spent quite a bit of time in Morro Bay and look forward to cycling there on our next visit. Breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed a relaxing glass of wine on the patio in the afternoon. Immaculate facility within walking distance to the nightlife and shopping. I would recommend this B&B.

Dianne and her generous staff will treat you as though they were waiting for your arrival. Our "chantecleer" room was decorated with style and comfort (and roosters) in mind. This attention to detail is the theme for the rest of the inn, such as a cobbled courtyard and tables in the patio with a corner lawnswing. Morning breakfast with a selection of pastries and hot, freshly cooked items and an evening wine and snack are a couple of the opportunies offered to meet your fellow travelers. Don't miss the Thursday evening Farmer's Market and ask Dianne to turn you on to her favorite wineries. I look forward to a return trip soon.

Stayed this past weekend at ths B&B and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff including the proprietors, were so welcoming and very nice. Can't say enough great things about them! We stayed in a queen room with a trundle and we even brought our dog with us with no extra charge. Room was spacious enough for us and had nice amenities. They give you a hot breakfast in the morning and wine and appetizers in the early evening which was excellent. Close enough to the downtown area and right off of Hwy 101. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the Central Coast.

This was our first visit to Petit Soleil. We stayed in a quaint room with a trundle bed for our son who was moving into the college dorms the next day. Dianne was warm wonderful and very comforting to the three of us. Loved her, the inn, all of the girls, and the wine and breakfast was fantastic....we will be back!

If anything, this B&B exceeded our expectations. Cozy, immaculate, a fine breakfast and we were allowed the use of the dining room for an evening of bridge. We will stay at Petit Soleil next time through.

I was hesitant to book this place without seeing it because it seemed a little over th top. I don't normally like themed rooms etc. I was totally pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this B&B. The rooms were beautiful and not cheesy at all. My husband also thought they were beautiful. There were nice touches in the room too like a CD player and a selection of CDs. The hotel breakfast was great. There were fruits, danish, and cereal laying out and then 2 hot items to choose from. Mine was wonderful. The hotel is also close to the main downtown area so we were able to walk to everything. We stayed on a Thursday which happens to be the farmer's market day. They closed off about 6 blocks of a main street and the town really comes together to shop, eat, and play. It was really a delight staying here.
