My boyfriend and I were planning to stay in San Francisco for a few nights and wanted to stay in a B&B for a more personal experience than the big hotels can offer. We chose the Petite Auberge based on the location, website, and reviews. The reviews were dead on-we loved it! The staff was incredibly helpful, the breakfast was wonderful, the rooms/ property were really nice, and the price reasonable. We also appreciated the little extras, like having access to complimentary cold bottled water/ soda 24/7 and daily fresh baked cookies. All in all, WE LOVED THIS B&B!!!

    Very nice

Just finished a 3 night 4 day stay at the INN. I have to say it is in the best location. The Breakfast and 5 PM dinning is great. Breakfast could be done there with ease. And the 5 PM wine and cheese is a great way to meet people and get ideas on were to eat and sights to see. I have only a few things that I did not like. Our room lacked good light. I know not a big deal. Also since the Inn is very old the floors a very creaky. So if you have people above you. You will know when they are walking. But overall great place. The staff there are great. The front desk is very wise of the area. Use them for any questions.

    charming

We had a wonderful stay at this delightful, cozy inn. The gourmet breakfast is excellent and worth the stay on it's own. Our room overlooked a little garden and you never would have guessed you were in the middle of the city. The location is great - a fairly nice walk to anywhere you would want to go. Great service, very nice and clean, beautifully decorated, and quiet. We will stay here again!
