    Distinctive Bed and Breakfast accommodations located in the Richmond District, a quiet residential neighborhood just six blocks from Ocean Beach and three blocks from Golden Gate Park. A spacious sunny guest room and a charming suite with an ocean view have antique beds, cozy down comforters and marble baths. Plush terry robes are provided. Curl up with one of the fascinating books about San Francisco's past or browse through the many brochures on San Francisco Bay Area attractions. Yes, there is a television with cable in each room and a DVD player if you wish to enjoy a movie. NOW AVAILABLE on DVD: collection of old movies filmed in San Francisco (on location in the Presidio of San Francisco National Park, Richmond District, Golden Gate Park and many other locales). Wake up to fresh ground coffee, homemade granola, fruit and muffins. Need a midnight snack, there are always home made cookies in the cookie jar. Two cats in residence. Nearby are the DeYoung Museum, the Steinhart Aquarium and Hall of Sciences, Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, the Palace of the Legion of Honor Museum and the Cliff House. Lincoln Golf Course is several blocks away. We have ample street parking and convenient Municipal bus transportation.

    The ocean view was good and the room sizes were more than adequate for our needs. Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful but not overly intrusieve. We would stay there again!

    We decided to spend the first two days of our stay in San Francisco and had been lucky to spot the Ocean Beach B&B on this website. After a warm welcome by our host (who has all the information and tipps to offer one can think of) we slept like kings in our lovely antique bed. The next morning, as if by magic, we were welcomed in the dining room by a breakfast table decorated with fresh flowers, fresh fruit, coffee, joghurt, home made granola and muffins waiting to be devoured ;o) A wonderful walk led us through Sutro Heights and down to the beach and Golden Gate Park. Bus stops are close by and the area is nice and quiet - perfect! So thumbs and toes up for a very personal B&B with an incredibly friendly host (and all those fresh flowers, loved it!).

    This is a lovely bed and breakfast with much privacy. Innkeeper is gracious and efficient, available to guests while allowing guests maximum feeling of privacy. Entire first floor is given over to the bed and breakfast, with innkeeper living a floor below. Bedrooms are not large, but luxurious. Ocean view suite is a particularly good value. Elegantly appointed home is filled with antiques and period pieces, with spotlessly clean rooms. Breakfasts are generous, tasty served in an elegant dining room. There is a sense of timelessness in this bed and breakfast, as if one stepped back into a gentler century.

    My wife and I have stayed here several times. We love the location. Quiet neighberhood close to the ocean and GG Park, and at the same time just a short drive into the North Beach, the Wharf, Chinatown, etc. My wife and I are Northern California natives and have been to SF countless times - Ocean Beach B&B would be our first choice and first recomendation. Joanne Landon is very knowledgeable, helpful, and hospitable.
