We chose Rousseau's Garden for its location and value price for our annual Valentine's get-away. The place is lovely and quiet, the garden in lovely, the location is lovely and convenient (we walked to and from downtown San Anselmo), and having wireless wi-fi was great. Barbara is friendly and efficient. Our ONLY critique (and it's small), was that the breakfast, while EXACTLY as pictured, included melons both days that were far from ripe, so inedible. Would we return? -- YES!

    A great 2nd anniversary

We stayed here for 2 days and had a great time. San Anselmo and Fairfax are cozy towns a nice small town feel. We picked this place because they allowed pets and it was centrally located between Pt. Reyes and Berkeley (which we visited both at our stay). Breakfasts were fresh fruit and croissants. We loved the privacy and neighborhood. Barbara was friendly and attentive. We would come back again and recommend this to anyone

This was by far the most magical Bed & Breakfast stays I had. The food was wonderful. It was like having our own place. It made our first stay in California very enjoyable. Thank You!
