Formerly the home of the witty and cynical author Ambrose Bierce...now, the owners John and Lisa Runnells offer a gracious blend of luxory, history and warm hospitality under a roof of 1872 Victorian elegance. The fine linens and elegant antiques offer old fashioned charm combined with the modern day conveniences we have all come to appreciate. The full gourmet champagne breakfasts here are known throughout the Valley; Eggs Benedict, belgian waffles, home baked croissants, fresh fruits, our own blend of coffee, teas, juice and champagne of course.While sipping premium wines you are welcome to watch the world go by as you sit on the covered balcony tucked high next to a huge redwood tree..(it feels like you are in your own tree house!)
