    BY THE BEACH is a cozy, four bedroom, four bathroom home located in a quiet, residential neighborhood four short blocks from lovely Redondo Beach. We offer four rooms and serve a CONTINENTAL PLUS BREAKFAST. Located downstairs, THE YELLOW ROOM ($125)) has a queen bed with a private bath, its own entrance and a kitchenette. It opens onto the garden and tiled patio. It is perfect for short and long term (discounts) visitors alike. Located upstairs, THE BLUE ROOM($115) has a king bed, a sitting area, small refrig. and private bath down the hall. Next to the Blue Room is THE MOCHA ROOM ($90), available for families or friends traveling together, which has a queen bed and shares a bathroom with the blue room. The MOCHA is $100 if bath not shared. Also upstairs is THE MASTER ($150) with a king bed and large private bath with shower and separate jacuzzi tub. All rooms have cable TV and Wi-Fi. We can send pictures via email at your request. We will also accept requests from groups up to ten to rent the entire house ($475 p/nt or $2850 p/wk).

    Great for Beach & Family

    First, this location was great so we could be within walking distance of our "kids" & grand kid's home. Plus the beach - what more could you want? The accommodations were perfect, staying in the "Master" with its large space and bath area. Richard's breakfasts included three of my favorites (pancakes, french toast and waffles). He and Susan are wonderful hosts. Highly recommended.

    We stayed at this B&B after taking my dad for a doctor's appointment at UCLA. My father was really feeling down after not hearing very encouraging words from his doctor. We stayed at this B&B because we needed a safe quite environment for him to relax. Richard and Susan hospitality was amazing. They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel very welcome. They served us a wonderful breakfast and my dads spirits were lifted when we headed out for the long ride home. We will always remember this special night. God Bless you both.

    We rented the entire house in April 2012 for a family reunion with 3 parties staying here from Honolulu and Seattle. The house was extremely comfortable for our group with 4 bedrooms (3 upstairs, 1 down) and 4 bathrooms (2 upstairs, 2 down). Cooking was minimal but the kitchen was well laid out, easy to navigate and store our food. The lower level back bedroom and bath were perfect for our senior and the upper level bedrooms were fine for the kids, parents and single guests. The large dining area was perfect for our group. The laundry center on the upper floor was convenient. We appreciate Richard & Susan's hospitality and hope to visit again! Mahalo & Aloha, Ron & Melinda Seattle, WA

    Wonderful stay!

    I recently spent 5 nights in the yellow room. Richard and Sue were excellent hosts. The breakfast was amazing and they were able to accommodate my gluten-free dietary needs. The house was comfortable, very clean and so welcoming! My husband and I were able to enjoy the warm weather on the patio every morning. It was a delightful place to have coffee, breakfast and just relax! We will definitely be back!
