El Rancho Lodge

An intimate desert hideaway with a hacienda flair, the El Rancho Lodge is your relaxing oasis in a hurried world, offering the personal attention and hospitality of a country inn. Palm Springs' only ranch-style hotel, with only 19 unique rooms, either poolside or in quiet patio area. The El Rancho was built in 1951, a former Hollywood hangout. Enjoy the spectacular mountain views in our wind-free area, while only minutes from downtown Palm Springs and airport. Relax in our large heated pool, and large keyhole mosaic spa.

Highway 10 East to Highway 111, Palm Canyon Drive. Exit Highway 10 and head southeast. You will stay on Palm Canyon as you pass through the lovely downtown area of Palm Springs, also known as The Village. You may notice signs saying "North Palm Canyon," and "South Palm Canyon," but you will really be on the same long and winding road from the freeway to our door. A little after downtown, Palm Canyon Drive takes a big curve to the left and becomes East Palm Canyon Drive. Stay on East Palm Canyon Drive and you will soon (about 6 blocks) see our sign on the left at 1330 East Palm Canyon Drive. - Nearest major airport: Palm Springs, CA (PSP-Palm Springs) 4 miles

Sandy comes to the El Rancho for the second time in her life: Her parents owned the El Rancho Lodge from 1968 to about 1976, and she spent her teenage years here.
