Home Away From Home

5 on November 11, 2015

I had to come back to this place because it was so nice! I love everything about it, beautiful location, clean, quiet rooms, welcoming atmosphere. But most of all I loved the host, Frank because he makes the most wonderful breakfasts and is a wealth of information about the area. I'm going back again!

A Pleasant Stay!

My son and I had a very nice experience at Roundstone Farm. Karen and Frank were very welcoming and courteous. They made us feel like at home. The Inn is clean & cozy, and is definitely a place for a romantic escape. Next time, I'll leave the kid at home and just take my husband!

Point Reyes Experience

We stayed one night -- there is normally a two-night minimum. Very comfortable. A great location for exploring the Point Reyes National Seashore.

Totally enjoyable stay. Can't wait to return.

Warm hospitality. Great views. Relaxing location. Delicious breakfast. Feels like you are "at home" only better.

Good place to meet interesting people

Inn was very nice, gardens well tended and view lovely ( except for the power station which is right next to the inn)

A Gem amongst the Rolling Hills of Olema

This place was recommended by one of our neighbors in Portland, Oregon when we talked about our trip to San Francisco via Highways 1 and 101. It more than met our expectations and was our first step on the road back to Portland after we left San Francisco. As it was our first time stopping in the Point Reyes area, it was a very relaxing location to spend the night after hiking and driving in the area of the National Seashore. Great views from our "Pond" room with many birds frequenting the nearby pond. The host was friendly, gracious, and had a good sense of humor. Since we had to leave very early the next day due to a family emergency, we cannot comment on the breakfast, but our neighbor assured us we missed a great one.

Great, serene place to stay near Point Reyes

I really recommend staying with Frank and Karen at Roundstone Farm. They are pros, and the home is sweet. The horses on property are beautiful, the hot tub was nice and clean, the food was outstanding, and the company delightful. I'll be back.

Slice of Paradise in Point Reyes

This was our second time staying at Roundstone Farm. The last time was 10 years ago. We were just as delighted this time! Beautifully appointed rooms including a lovely living room just off the patio, a large hot tub, gorgeous setting...what's not to like! Oh, the breakfasts are abundant and delicious and the breakfast table conversations are always interesting and fun. I'd move in if I could!

Had a great time!

My husband and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The surroundings are unbeatable if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place. It's very serene and just wonderful for relaxing. The owner, Frank, is very friendly and makes really tasty food for breakfast. We enjoyed having breakfast with 4 other couples, much older than us, but we had a great time chatting with them and seeing them around throughout the day. The room is very charming and the bed comfortable and the best part is the birds singing all day long. Definitely would stay here again, it's like home away from home:)

We love this B&B

Roundstone Farm is wonderful. The beds are very comfortable, there is a fireplace in every room, it's very quiet and private, the living room and decks are very comfortable, and there are spectacular views everywhere you look. And beautiful landscaping. And lots of birds. And even two horses (no, you cannot ride them). The owners seem to attract folks who are very nice, as opposed to the type of guest who must always talk about himself and his very successful career. There is a good deli and very good tavern-cum-restaurant within a half-block, and of course you're a stone's throw from Pt. Reyes. By the time we drop our bags in the room, we're already relaxed. Thanks for a wonderful weekend, Frank!
