Roundstone Farm Bed & Breakfast Inn

The landscaping and views were beautiful, and the hot tub was a delight. The room decor is a bit dated, but we were comfortable and felt welcome. We would return!

I have stayed at this B&B about 15 times. My experience is ALWAYS WONDERFUL. Frank and Karen are amazing people and will make your stay very special!

My bf and I recently stayed at The Roundstone Farm B&B and I was really happy with the 2 night stay. My bf planned the whole trip and did some research on this B&B which had previously gotten good reviews. I am happy to report that they were true! Rooms were clean and spacious. The fireplace (that we were allowed to use!) was a nice touch. Our room (Ridge) had plenty of light and a lovely armoire to store suitcases/clothes if you happen to stay on a longer trip. The bathroom was spotless - especially the shower, which can be a pet peeve for me. The grounds were well kept and impressive - plenty of shrubs, wildflowers, and potted plants. The birdfeeders kept a nice flock of local birds flying around the ground during the day. The deck is a little worn but spacious and gets plenty of sunlight (in April/May). There is also a hot tub around the back of the house (we didn't use it but it did look inviting). The house itself was neat and tidy. Comfortable seating and plenty of reading material (general and for the local area). Breakfast was a treat! Every morning at 8:30a guests gathered at the dining table and ate together (if they chose). The food was fresh and homemade. The owners were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Roundstone Farm! Frank, the host, is a very good cook and so knowledgeable about the area. The dining room overlooks a beautiful garden with bird feeders and the living room area gives a view of pond, pastures, and rolling hills. Breakfasts are hearty and guests can use the refrigerator in the kitchen. The hot tub is immaculate and there are robes and slippers for guests to wear to go to the hot tub. Also, since the property is set back from the main road, the atmosphere is very peaceful. We had a wonderful visit and look forward to returning in the future.

The place was pleasant, and it is ideally located for taking walks at Point Reyes. Breakfast with the other couple staying there, and cooked by the owner, was very pleasant. The birds were really happily flying around the pond outside in the morning. I would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roundstone. The premises are clean and spacious, with lovely gardens and outdoor decks. The innkeepers are friendly and work hard behind the scenes to make their guests comfortable, and cook a delicious hearty breakfast.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in the Point Reyes region thanks to the accommodations at the Roundstone Farm B&B. We took a chance at finding somewhere we could stay--with less than 2 weeks notice. Frank made our day! He welcomed us and helped make recommendations as to where to dine. The room was very comfortable and just the right size for us. The setting was very tranquil and inviting. We liked the idea of no TV in the room--it gave us a chance to enjoy each others' company and play card games together. The breakfast provided was just enough to start the day right. We will definitely want to come back for another visit. Thanks Frank!

We really enjoyed staying at Roundstone Farm. We were the only guests on Sunday and Monday nights, but Frank prepared an awesome breakfast just for us and told us all about the history and inner workings of Olema and Point Reyes. He opened the garage so we could store our tandem bicycle instead of leaving it on the car. The location is very convenient, the rooms are very comfortable, and the view from the living room/deck is great. We'll be back for sure.

We had a marvelous time hiking at Point Reyes. It was so nice to go "home" after a long day do hiking and really feel at home!

We stayed one night, mid-week. The owner, Frank, was personable and cooked a fine breakfast. The entire property was very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were a bit dated, but were larger than many B&B bathrooms and very clean with good towels. Nice pastoral views with a comfortable living room for relaxing. Bedrooms were not large, but are spacious enough with good quality beds and sheets.

Excellent location! Our room on the first floor was quiet even though we were under the only second level room. It overlooked the pond and saw a bit of Tomales Bay, I think. The beds were very comfortable! Breakfast was delicious, healthy and left nothing wanting. It was fun to meet all the other guests and exchange information and stories. The host / owner / chef was full of information about local history and politics. The backyard was full of plants and feeders that attracted local birds so the area was full of activity and bird songs. The hot tub was a great way to end the day! We would definitely return.

My husband and I plan to make this our getaway spot. The land surrounding the farm is stunning. The gourmet breakfasts prepared by Frank are delicious and plentiful. You bird watch and hear stories as you enjoy breakfast. You are a short hike or drive to awesome restaurants, coffee, and hikes. The living room/common area is beautiful and cozy with plenty of good reading material. All the rooms have a view and a fireplace. Frank and Karen are very kind and accommodating, we were sad to leave and hope to stay longer for more R&R next time! Oh, how could I forget the hot tub where we enjoyed spectacular sunsets.

We enjoyed our stay. Its a beautiful setting all around. Frank was very friendly and introduced us to all the birds who were enjoying the place. The breakfast was supurb.

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Fabulous location - close enough to Point Reyes Station's amenities but feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. There is a lovely sitting room for guests' use and seating outside with great views. We stayed in the Bay Room - aptly named since you have a great view of Tomales Bay from the window. Room was clean and well presented although the décor in the bathroom was a little shabby. Breakfast was OK - nothing wrong with it - it just wasn't very exciting! We would stay again.

The vaulted ceilings and large floorplans for the room made the inn feel luxurious and spacious. The enclosed hottub was private but did not feel claustrophobic. A beautiful view in the morning of the sun rising over the pond and valley. The innkeeper made delicious food for breakfast and was warm and cheery. Overall, a very nice experience.

We loved our visit. At the last minute, we called Frank to let him know that we were bringing our 8-year-old nephew, and he moved us to a room with a second bed - no hassle, no problem. The Inn is great, centrally located, and Frank is charming, literate, and down to earth. We will be back.

Great place to stay, well located and reasonably priced. Frank is friendly and a good breakfast cook! Views are memorable and the hot tub felt great after a day of hiking.

My wife and I stayed here for New Years. Great setting, very peaceful, and close to restaurants and hiking in Pt. Reyes. Our room was tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. The rate was very reasonable and the breakfast was delicious! Frank is a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge and history of the surrounding area. We will definitely come back.

My husband and I stayed there when we went hiking in the area. The place is very quiet at night, except for the "elephants" walking on the room above us. Luckily they went to bed early! It was so quiet, especially since they do not have televisions in the rooms! Our bed was extremely comfortable and we felt at home! We will definitely stay there again, but we will request an upstairs room next time.

Beautiful location and building; very nice and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast (although a bit to slow to get on the table). A very personable host! Very helpful literature on the area in a wonderful large sitting room with great views. Most serious problem not the fault of the inn: In driving rain in a pitch black night, my GPS directed me to an empty cow pasture. Don't give up - keep driving and you will come to the Roundstone B&B. Enjoy

I loved our stay here. Frank and his staff treated us like one of the family. The inn is situated atop a hill with marvelous views. We stayed in the 'Ridge Room' which overlooks pastures of grazing animals, the tiny town of Olema, the pond and the distant bay. It was comfy and clean, but listening to the hooting owls and watching the many varieties of other birds made it especially fine. I definitely will chose Roundstone again when wend that way again.

This was a return stay for my wife and me. We took a friend and she was delighted with the choice - location, food, and host. We'll return soon.

We stayed here as a stop on our honeymoon and were very happy that we chose to stay with Frank. The property was beautiful and the diversity of birds in the garden in the morning blew me away. The location is great too (so close to such a variety of activities) and I was amazed how a place so close to San Francisco could be so quiet and relaxing. My wife and I really appreciated how Frank runs the place. It was clear that he was there for anything that we needed yet at the same time we felt like had the place to ourselves (delicious breakfast too).

We Ohioans were looking for a B&B from which to explore the wonders of Point Reyes. The Roundstone Farm B&B turned out to be the perfect place. The setting is quite scenic with much wildlife, including a bird sanctuary in the back yard. The breakfasts were excellent and the proporietor Frank Borodic was an fine host and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the area. The room was quite nice and the B&B's atmosphere very laid-back and welcoming. We met many interesting guests and enjoyed five days in Olema and the Point Reyes National Seashore, which has to be one of the most rugged and beautiful places on earth. Frank and Karen took good care of us. They have a clever way of receiving guests even if you arrive when they are off-site. We stayed in the Bay room and the view is really really beautiful (though more pasture than bay.) Bed was extremely comfortable with great linens, and it was very quiet at night. Location is convenient to Point Reyes park. Breakfast was nicely arranged with meats presented as a side dish, which made the meal vegetarian friendly without being awkward. Other guests were friendly and interesting. Bird watching at breakfast is amazing! Don't miss the Saltwater restaurant about 5 miles up the road in Inverness. SO GOOD.

Judith and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roundstone Farm. In addition to the physical beauty of the inn's horse's gardens, and vistas, the camaraderie at breakfast was memorable and we enjoyed learning about the area and its politics. The innkeepers are great and they attract an interesting group.

My family and I recently stayed at the Roundstone Farm for a night as we were driving by the coast in California. The site and reviews online appeared to be a good accomodation, but to me, they underestimated what was one of the best accomodations during our trip in CA! The place had been set-up in a wonderfully warm and cozy fashion, and the best part was being served a delicious breakfast in the morning and meeting the kind owners and other visitors of the B&B. Would definitely recommend it to visitors in the area!

This was my first time staying at a bed & breakfast so i didnt know what to expect. I was so excited when i got to the house and saw the horses and beautiful property. The house was very clean and tidy with a welcoming feeling. My room was spacious and clean and provided a at home feeling. The breakfast made each morning was very delicious. I couldnt ask for a better experience.

The Inn was comfortable and quiet. Lovely view of Tomales Bay. A great place to bird watch. We enjoyed hearing about the history of Point Reyes from Frank each morning.

The room we stayed in had a very comfortable bed, and was very quiet - making for great sleeping. Although the room was quite small, there was enough room for the 2 of us. Breakfast was served at 8:30 every day, and was good, but not a lot of choices, lots of fruit and fruit based dishes. Robes and slippers are provided, and there is a very comfortable common room for reading and relaxing. The hot tub was very nice, clean and not over-chlorinated. There are beautiful gardens and a lot of birds, depending on the season, a great stop for bird lovers. The owner is very knowledgable about the flora and fauna of the area.

Very delightful, clean B&B....but for a small B&B, I expect the owner to be there. We arrived with entry instructions given on a note stuck to the front door and the owner was never there. In the morning there was a breakfast prepared by an outside worker....breakfast was very modest. For a small B&B in a small community, I expected owner presence.

When we first arrived we were not so impressed as with the photograph, but after setteling in it was a very nice place, with very enjoyable people at the breakfast table, including the host. My wife noticed a ordor in the bathroom but we never figured out what it was.

Roundstone Farm is a great place to stay to visit Pt. Reyes. Minutes from the Visitor's Center, Pt Reyes Station and Inverness. The Inn is very comfortable and inviting. Plenty of books if you forgot yours. Excellent breakfast. Frank, the Innkeeper, is friendly and a great conversationalist. We've enjoyed both our stays and will be back.

Booked a week in advance for a mid-week stay. Perfect location for a quick get-away with hiking trails and beaches nearby. Great deck to sit and enjoy the scenery. Welcoming host. Awesome breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at this inn. Frank was very nice, and very easygoing. Everything was very clean, and tastefully set up. What we enjoyed the most were the animals and wildlife - we awoke to the gentle barks of coyotes in the distance, there are hummingbirds and quail in and around the property (which we watched from the hot tub) and the location is great (near Point Reyes Station and just up the hill from Olema). Someone in another review complained about the electrical station nearby - this is a non issue since you simply don't see it. Overall this was great!

This B&B has a very nice view of Tomales Bay. The hot tub is in a great location so that you can see both the sunset and Tomales Bay from it. The innkeeper is very friendly. Breakfast is together with other guests at a single big table. Our room was very nice, with a big bathroom and a wood-fired chimney.

This B&B was the highlight of our two week vacation. We stayed there at least three nights. It is clean, quiet and easy to get to. At other places we had to bare rooms that were overly deodorized and reeked of Fabreeze, etc. And at least one other inn seemed to think that they need to play elevator music in the common areas which we could hear in the room; unbelievable. Roundstone was quiet comfortable and friendly. The breakfasts were pretty tasty too! Thanks Frank!

My husband, baby and I really enjoyed our stay at the Roundstone Farm Bed & Breakfast Inn. Gorgeous hikes and the adorable town of Point Reyes are within a few minutes drive. We were impressed with our accomodating host, Frank Borodic, and with the delicious breakfast he served. The view from our room was nice and we appreciated the reasonable rates. We will go back! The only downside is that they do not offer infant beds.

Karen and Frank have a wonderful respite for those looking for beautiful scenery, lots of hiking, great breakfasts, immaculate rooms and warm hosts. We wish we had stayed more than two nights. Be sure to dine at the Stellina Restaurant in Point Reyes Station.

Frank and Karen are great! The house is beautiful and it was a great experience staying there but I was not very happy about the breakfast. Overall, I would recommend this bed and breakfast to my friends.

My husband and I have stayed at Roundstone Farm for the last few years during our anniversary. The B&B is clean and cozy. We especially enjoy Frank's scrumptious breakfast and delightful, colorful stories about Olema/Pt Reyes. He really knows how to make a couple feel right at home away from home. -K.P.

This is a wonderful refuge, with a magnificent view, beautiful, clean and cozy bedrooms that are also spacious, each with a fireplace. My friends and I have taken over the entire B and B for years for reunions because we love Roundstone so much and feel that frank Borodic and Kan Anderson have created a heaven in Pt. Reyes in Olema.

We rented 3 rooms for a Saturday night for 3 couples. We were delighted with the location, the inn, the hospitality. The outdoor is very inviting and is hard to leave. We spent the evening in the very spacious living room. After a delicious breakfast we spent the time talking with Frank, the host and learned a lot about the area. We did 3-4 hrs hikes both Saturday and Sunday and we could not stay at a better location. Great, great place.

Frank and Karen made us feel extremely welcome at Roundstone Farm. The room was comfortable, the breakfast delicious (all the bacon my husband could eat!), and the view is wonderful from the hot tub. The house is convenient to hiking in Point Reyes Seashore.

I've been here several times and every time I find it even more restful and restorative than the last!! Frank and Karen take excellent care of their guests, The breakfasts are delicious and the rooms are cozy and clean. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to rest, hike, read, write, be with friends, anything. I love it here!!

In the hot tub area, they put in a board to hold lighting but it is so low that it is very easy to hit your head when you walk around the tub. Also, breakfast was at 8:30, which was fine, but we did not see any information about when it was provided so we had to wait for someone to show up in the morning to find out. Being in Marin Co. I was surprised that there was not an option to reuse your towels instead of having them replaced every day.

We had stayed here before, but this time we brought my brother & his wife, and we stayed longer than previously. We all enjoyed Frank's wonderful breakfasts and his congenial & entertaining chats after breakfast. These focused on everything from his keen observations of the local bird population, interactions with other wildlife and the characteristics and characters of the nearby communities. Before we left, Frank toured us around his extensive landscaping. He does his best to accommodate his guests' desires, whether they seek complete privacy or getting to know new, interesting people. Given the variety of experiences available, both at this B&B and in its surroundings, one could enjoy frequent visits to Roundstone Farm.

This is a great place for birdwatchers- the feeders are always busy!

My husband and I chose the Roundstone Farm for a belated anniversary celebration. It exceeded both of our expectations. We wanted a quiet, scenic B & B with a fireplace that we could use in the evenings. The Roundstorm Farm provided that and more. The fog came in early making the night cool and the fireplace a wonderful treat. There is a fantastic hot tub on the grounds with a beautiful view. We took full advantage of it. Frank's breakfasts are healthy, satisfying and tasty. Frank is an intelligent,worldly man with whom I became entranced in a conversation that lasted over two hours. The quiet nights and the comfortable bed provided us with the best night's sleep we'd had in months. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the Roundstone Farm's Bay room for an impromptu trip up to Pt. Reyes. It is within walking distance of the tiny town of Olema, but driving distance to Pt. Reyes station. The owners are perfectly nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and well appointed (fireplace! Robes and sandals for the hot tub!), but felt a little dated. It was amazing to wake up to a view of the Bay, that and watch the sunset from the outside deck. Breakfast was good, but not outstanding. All in all, I would definitely recommend Roundstone. Its not as fancy as some other B+B's, but its a very nice place to stay in a great location with amazing views.

lovely location and fabulous rooms. very friendly hosts too. great deck and expansive views. take note: hot tub closes after 10 pm so get in early. but it's a beautiful hot tub with a great view of the valley. breakfast was fine- nothing extraordinary, but satisfactory.

This was our third visit, and just like the other two, it was great! Quiet, great service, and it is always great to talk to Frank! The Dining choices in the area could be better, but what's available is of good quality. We definitly will be back!!

Great service and hospitality in a beautiful setting with amazing gardens and terrific breakfasts.

I recommend this sweet spot for a nice getaway when in Point Reyes. The house is large and the rooms are private. The house is surrounded with beautiful fragrant gardens and rolling fields and a little pond that is home to the frogs you will hear at night. We slept very peacefully and enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the place. Frank was very helpful and politely engaging. The other review that mentions him being over involved had us concerned on our arrival but we did not find this to be true at all. He was quite pleasant, informative, and friendly and very aware of the need for privacy as well. We felt very much like we were guests in his home and felt very welcome and free to be on our own or with the others as we desired. The room (we stayed in the Bay Room) was quite comfortable and the bed was great! We stayed there, in part, because of the fireplace and the hot tub (hours on the hot tub are 10a-10p to be considerate of other guests) and enjoyed both during our stay. Frank was kind enough to waive the two night stay minimum for us and that also made a big difference for us. I understand the reason for the policy but this steared us away from a lot of nice places. We were thankful that Frank seemed to understand that not everyone from the Bay Area wants to stay both nights and we were quite happy that he accomodated us. I recommend Roundstone Farms and will visit again.

As soon as you drive up the driveway you realize the you are in the land of a master gardener. The grounds and flowers are magnificent. Add to this a view of the lake with the horses, red wing blackbirds and humming birds, swallows diving into the lake and the ducks, the cattle in the field far off, and even a hot tub in the back ...we have not ever seen anything like it. Frank, one of our hosts, was a delight, as well as an excellent chef. Our only regret was that we could only spend one day..................

Our 2 nights at Roundstone Farm were wonderfully relaxing. The grounds, room and gorgeous view plus wildlife, warm host who has great stories and cooks a delicious breakfast made this a perfect choice. Thank you!

A great place--a great area--great food.

I love the area but have been less than thrilled with some of my past experiences with lodging. High prices and indifferent Inn Keepers seem to be a fairly common occurrence in the area. Not so at Roundstone Farm. Attention to detail, a dedication to cleanliness and comfort  and a zest for Inn Keeping makes all the difference. Frank and Karen could write the book on the Art of Inn Keeping. We arrived late at night and were greeted by the sound of frogs in Roundstone's nearby pond. The bed was beautifully laid out and very comfortable. I woke early and let David sleep in. Despite the early hour, coffee was waiting and Jude and Frank were in the kitchen busily preparing the mornings offerings.  I wandered out to the front deck overlooking large pond, home to myriad frogs and some wild waterfowl. I was taken by the peaceful surroundings. A fragrant garden filled with bird and bee attracting flora surrounds the Inn & i strolled around back and unceremoniously plopped in front of the  bird feeding stations. Not being a birder I couldn't tell you exactly who the visiting avians were but I spotted ruby crowned kinglets, goldfinches, bluebirds, house finches at the feeding stations and a dozen doves clowning on the gazebo's roof. Other birds appeared.  Ravens,  jays and robins. others too, but I couldn't tell you what they were. I decided to tap on our room's window to share this glorious early morning with Dave. We hung out in the garden for a while longer and then sat down to a yummy breakfast. It was a full house at the Inn so we opted to eat outside in the back garden. Jude served us and we felt like honored guests. We plan on returning in the near future and would wholeheartedly recommend the Inn at Roundstone Farm. Nice place Frank and Karen. A lovely pastoral setting, a rambling (but actually not very old) farmhouse, and a nice night's sleep. The hot tub was a nice addition. All in all very comfortable.

two-night stay in mid-April. We are repeat guests at this B&B at the Point Reyes National Seashore and it remains our favorite overnight destination.

Roundstome was very well located given that it was close to the hikes we wanted to do and within easy access to Rancho Nicasio. It was nice to walk to the Farmhouse for dinner. The pond attracts many birds which we found delightful. We would certainly stay again. Each time I've driven by on the weekends the sign shows" No Vacancy". There is good reason.

So relaxing. The host, Frank, tells the greatest stories and makes fantastic breakfasts. Wonderful sights of wildlife right from your room including great blue herons, unusual birds like the moorhen, and even a bobcat. We've stayed here over 10 times and couldn't ask for a better weekend break! Shelley

I can honestly say that I was surprised at the quality of room, service and personality.

As soon as you walk through the door, you feel at home. Close to the Point Reyes trail system, the town of Point Reyes Station, and in walking distance from local restaurants. Breakfasts are always a surprise and very tasty!

Frank was a fabulous host. A great cook, and hilarious storyteller. Clean rooms and peaceful stay.

Excellent location, charming room complete with fireplace. The breakfast was good, the host did an excellent job of accommodating my allergies by making a special breakfast that was delicious.

One of the best features about Roundstone Farm is the solitude. It is also perfectly comfortable.

My boyfriend and I visited Roundstone Farm B&B Inn for a night last weekend. The prices for Roundstone Farm are very competitive compared to other accommodations in Point Reyes, so I honestly wasn't expecting much. My expectations were far exceeded by Roundstone Farm. Our room was very private (the Bay room) with a nice fireplace, a down comforter, very comfortable bed and a view of the surrounding farm. We were so cozy in our little room and we slept so well. Very clean room and bathroom as well. Further, there is a hot tub at Roundstone. The breakfast that Frank cooked was outstanding, very gourmet with fresh baked bread and endless tea and coffee. A few other things that I enjoyed at the Inn were the nice living room, where guests could relax and drink tea, the friendly innkeepers, and the small size of the Inn (I believe there are only five rooms, so approximately only ten guests total). A great find in Point Reyes that I will definitely return to!

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary, our second visit to Roundstone Farm. As before, the Inn was romatic, quiet, and well furnished, and the proprietor's personal attention to our comfort and an excellent breakfast were very much appreciated.

My wife and I stayed here on a holiday weekend and loved it. We met some nice people there, but really enjoyed being close to good food and sitting by a fire in our room. We also found great hikes during the days. The best though was the breakfast in the mornings.

My partner and I had the pleasure to stay at Roundstone Farm Bed and Breakfast a few weeks ago. We live in San Francisco and this part of Point Reyes Station is very easy to get to, it only took us a little over an hour via the 101. We arrived Saturday evening and Frank (the owner) had left us a very nice note on the door giving us instructions to access our room. As we opened the front door I was left there wishing I could live and stay in such a beautiful house like this all the time. The inside of the house is very warm, cozy, and incredibly inviting. I loved all the wood furniture and scaffolding and the big black wood burning stove that sits in the far side of the house. We sat in the beautiful living room, had a cup of tea, and browsed through the books he has full of gorgeous photographs of Point Reyes and various restaurants in the area. The grounds of Roundstone Farm are stunning. From the window of our room we could see horses, cows, and the rolling green hills that surround Point Reyes. Watching the fog roll over the hills and through the trees was the perfect medicine I needed to heal my over stimulated city mind. Frank and his wife are wonderful hosts and the breakfast the next morning was fresh, delicious, and created the perfect compliment to the cold and rainy morning that feel over Olema that day. My partner and I will definitely be returning to Roundstone Farm bed and breakfast for our next escape from the city. I highly recommend this place for anyone that wants a calm relaxing weekend away on beautiful property with breathtaking views, and of course a hot tub ¿

I am gluten free and they made me a special DELICIOUS breakfast. This is the kind of individual attention they give.

The inn was peaceful and quiet. Lots of activities around the inn to keep you busy, but at the same time it is a good place to just relax. The restaurants around the area are varied and good. Oh, and the breakfast at the inn in itself maybe well worth the trip.

While living in the Bay Area during the 80's, I loved to day trip to the Point Reyes area. During a wast coast motorcycle trip up and down Highway 1 and 101, I decided to stay in the area. I rode from Santa Barbara to Olema on Highway 101, a good day and arrived before sunset. A key was waiting for me and before I was settled in, Frank met up with me and suggested dinner ideas. The room and house are very nice. I like how the bedrooms were laid out around a staircase so no 2 rooms were right next to another. The common area was nice and wi-fi worked great. Dinner in Point Reyes was just up the road and it was Halloween night, so I got to see all the kids walking through the tiny town. Breakfast was good and the view into the back garden with lots of birds was a nice environment. Frank joined me for breakfast as I was the only guest. This is a great spot and would stay here again to explore more of the Point Reyes area.

I hate to give this secret away, but Roundstone Farm is one of the nicest places to stay in Point Reyes. Our room was immaculate, and we were served real, home-cooked food for breakfast. It's farm setting makes for a quiet, peaceful stay. And, since it sits on a hill, you can actually see the bay from some of the rooms. It was really a delightful place to stay.

After a long coast to coast flight, and a day visiting some of favorite San Francisco haunts from our living there years ago, we arrived after dark. We were instructed to "make ourselves at home." The room was larger than expected. The hot tub and stars with no light pollution even better. The first night we had the entire house to ourselves. Frank came over and fixed us a fantastic breakfast the next morning. He was incredibly kind, knowledgable, and the entire stay was very laid back and wonderfully Northern Californian--something that we've truly missed in the NYC metropolitan area. We had a great houseful of interesting people the next morning--and met someone that lived less than 35 miles from us on the east coast! Our only regret is that we had to leave so soon!

Roundstone Farm Bed and Breakfast Inn was truly delightful. The setting is located near Point Reyes and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and the innkeeper was a wealth of information about the surrounding area. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our brief stay. Frank was a great host. The service was excellent. We enjoyed the night sky from the back deck, and table - talk with Frank and the other lodgers at breakfast. We will return!

My wife and I recently stayed at the round stone inn. We had a great time there! The location is great, the house and grounds are lovely, the Jacuzzi is a great bonus and the hosts are great people : )

The location of the inn is so serene and peaceful. If you want a relaxing weekend away, this is the place for some quiet r&r. Frank's breakfasts were outstanding and homemade. Delish!

This was our first stay at Roundstone Farm. The location (5 minutes from Pt. Reyes visitor center and 10 minutes from Pt. Reyes) is hard to be beat. The Inn has a very nice living room and outside gardens and a hot tub. Our room (the Pond Room) was nicely furnished and very comfortable. Frank, the Innkeeper, was very welcoming and an excellent breakfast chef to boot. We had a delightful stay and will be back.

Frank and Karen operate a lovely B&B just minutes away from all of the sights and sounds of Point Reyes National Seashore. You're a quick drive to the quaint shops and restaurants of nearby towns, and maps are provided to get you on your way. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and warm; the fireplace was recently cleaned and a DuraFlame was waiting for us to light it. Excellent water pressure in the shower and plenty of towels and shower provisions. Breakfast was warm and inviting; pecans and quiche and bacon along with fresh OJ and baked bread. Frank offered plenty of advice on hiking trails and worthwhile sights. Would definitely stay here again!

We were very thrilled with our stay at Roundstone farm. The house is located on a beautiful piece of property. The outside garden is a great place to sit, enjoy the view and relax. We were surprised to find an outdoor hottub next to the garden which we used. Everything was very clean. They even supplied extra towels and slippers for use at the hottub. Breakfast was served at a large dining room table. The food for breakfast was good and we enjoyed the company of the other guests over breakfast. My only real complaint was that the coffee was not that great. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who was to visit point reyes. The location is great and the rooms quiet and clean!

We arrived on a sunny afternoon and enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the pond and hills in the distance. Very scenic.

Everything about Roundstone is A++. The attention to detail and customer satisfaction is unmatched. The setting is beautiful, rooms are provided with everything you need including menus of local restaurants and directions. Breakfast in wonderful, and the host is totally attentive to your needs. This was by far the best place and value we found in our trip through California

Overall nice place. Very comfortable room with nice outdoor hot tub. Location ok but only distant ocean view. Very good breakfast with interesting host. We were a little surprised to find a small electric power station next door.

It was so nice and quiet and very quaint. The owner was very personable and a terrific cook, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was close to Pt. Reyes and the area is a birdwatchers paradise.

Stayed in Vision room. Large room, aptly named for windows on 3 sides. Fireplace in room was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty.

This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast and it was a pleasurable experience. The accomodations were comfortable and clean. In addition to being a congenial host, Frank is an excellent cook. The delicious breakfasts he served were entirely home-made. Breakfast time also provided us with the opportunity to meet and visit with the other guests. Roundstone Farm is conveniently located to Point Reyes and wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

From the moment that we stepped down from the car we were made to feel welcome and that is a nice touch. This shows that the inn keeper truly enjoys having people at the Roundstone Inn and would like for everyone to return as a friend not as a business deal.

Roundstone is in a good location for visiting Pt Reyes and the coast. The rooms are large and clean, and there's a nice garden, and good common area. However, the wifi did not work at all in the room, only in the common area, and the breakfast was definitely sub-par: tasteless French toast and bad bacon.

My wife and I went to Roundstone Farm for our first wedding anniversary. We were very delighted at the relaxed atmosphere and how friendly Frank was. He let us check in early and stay late. He is a an excellent chef. Our breakfasts were filling and very tasty. Much to my wife's delight, he is also a master gardener and the backyard is beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed sitting and reading there in the mornings. The view all around is beautiful with the mountains of Point Reyes not too far off. Overall a great experience!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Roundstone Farm. The grounds are beautiful -- I highly recommend spending time reading in the sun in the gardens, or soaking in the hot tub. Our room was perfectly comfortable with a cozy fireplace and it was immaculately clean. Frank was a great host, full of stories and recommendations on things to do in the area. Our only problem was that we didn't stay long enough! We will certainly return to Roundstone Farm next time we're in the area.

The innkeeper is very good and knowledgable. The location is perfect for exploring the Pt. Reyes area. There are excellent restaurants nearby. The rooms and the views from them are outstanding. There is a very nice living room and an excellent patio with a splendid view.

This is a very lovely, peaceful place to stay. And, if you are a bird watcher, you are in for a treat. There are finches, doves, crows, jays, and all sorts of other birds that have made this place their haven. And the owners, Frank and Karen are truly wonderful and generous hosts. Plus breakfast isn't your typical scrambled eggs and toast - it is gourmet and made from scratch.

My husband and I spent a beautiful February weekend at Roundstone Farm B&B Inn. We loved watching the incredible flock of birds swooping through the air at sunset - we've never seen such drama and grace! The rooms and common area were well kept and very comfortable. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed after a hectic week of work. The hot tub was a great place to relax after a long day of hiking and horseback riding. It's also a great spot to watch the sunset. Both our breakfasts were delicious but the mushroom crusted quiche was outstanding and so creative!

Although pricey - we loved our stay at the B&B - a peaceful house overlooking Odema. A good place for hikes in and around Point Reyes - the hottub at the end of a day is a must!! We were on our own since it was low season and had the house to ourselves - the shelves are stacked with books, the nespaper arrives in the morning - NO TV!!! (which is great)- bring your own music (CDS) if you like! The fire places are ready to be lit. Frank is very knowledgeable about all things local and a great deal more. His breakfast is a knock-out. We would definitely go back!

With all the options of where to stay in the Olema and the surrounding little towns me and my husband agree we found a little gem! We loved our stay at the Roundstone Farm & Breakfast Inn! It was very easy to book online and Frank and his wife were so nice and friendly. The room was perfect, comfortable bed, fireplace, chairs to sit by the fire and nice well-lit bathroom. We were so relaxed. The view from our window overlooked the pond and the bay and it was so green and pretty. We didn't get a chance to try out the hot tub but it looked very inviting. And the garden around the Inn was very pretty with lots of birds. Also, it is walking distance from restaurants in Olema and a very short drive to Pt. Reyes hiking trails and more restaurants in nearby small towns. We also drove out to do some whale watching. Overall - couldn't have been happier.

Views were great. Frank, our host, was terrific! Great cook, friendly and incredibly well-informed on local fauna and flora. Very comfortable accommodations. Great location. Hope to return soon!

Roundstone Farm is at a convienent location for those spending the weekend at Pt Reyes. After 2 days of camping and hiking the comfortable and cozy accomodations were enjoyed. Frank made us an excellent breakfast and was great to talk to about the local bird life. We would highly recommenend Roundstone Farm for a weekend getaway!

This inn is very small, cozy and charming much like staying in someone's home. The host is helpful, accommodating and prepares a wonderful breakfast. The setting is pretty, and the hot tub, while very small, is very relaxing after hiking all day. If you like B&Bs, you should definitely give this one a try!

Unfortuanetly we had just 1 night at the Roundstone Farm but we enjoyed it very much.

This was our 4th visit to Roundstone Farm. We really enjoy the conversations around the breakfast table and the wonderful food that Frank delivers with causual ease. After our delicious breakfast we head out to Pt Reyes for a beautiful hike with the knowledge that we have a great house to return our weary bones.It was a rainy weekend this time but that did not matter. We hiked several miles, had a wonderful dinner in Olema and returned to our warm and comfy room.

Place is well kept and well maintained. Things are very organized and neat. The view from the bedrooms are very nice (it's by a little ranch). You can see horses and the range from your room, while at the same time having some privacy. Hot tub in the back is open from 10am til 10pm. I would recommend this place to others for sure.

Had a wonderful 2night stay at Roundstone! Beautiful area - and we were completely happy with accommodations. Very hospitable host - served a great breakfast! Good location for visiting the Pt. Reyes Natl Seashore! A bit of a drive to the Beaches. Horse Country! Lots of trails for hiking or horseback rideing! Beautiful Area!

My friend and I wanted a special place to celebrate one of those decade birthdays and this place was great. Frank, the proprietor was friendly and very interesting sharing local stories and the best places to eat and the best hikes to do. Great breakfasts and just the right amount of interaction from the proprietor. Pastoral setting, lovely views. Two thumbs up from us. Looking forward to bringing our husbands back next year.

We stayed at this inn during a sunny January and enjoyed all 3 nights. The room was large, well lit and comfortable. We felt at home in the large living room and spent several hours each day reading or playing cards. But the best part was the warmth of the host. Frank was in and out, but always ready to talk about the area and families around. We got a perspective we would not have had at a motel.

Our experience at Roundstone farm B&B was everything we hoped for: the rooms were clean and beautiful, the staffs were friendly and the views were breath taking! We'll definately stay here again!

It was our best experience ever at a B&B. Frank was wonderful! We had a great time talking with him. He made wonderful breakfasts, even with my dietary restrictions. The property was very nice. clean, peaceful and unique. The bed was comfortable Excellent views of the countryside. The little town of Olema was cute and close by. Point Reyes National Seashore was excellent. Elk, Deer, Whales, a lighthouse and lots of wildflowers. Lots to do in the area. We wished we would have stayed longer. We will be back!
