Photo Album

Our Veranda has been featured on the cover of two B&B guidebooks! Guests relax here while enjoying our evening Wine & Cheese.
The focal point of the Courtyard Gardem is the bubbling fountain. The surronding roses interspersed with hydrangea, perennials and annuals beg for one to "stop and smell the roses". Lounge on the chaises and watch the world go by. The arbor is the perfect venue for a garden wedding.Enter the gate into the rose-filled courtyard garden and one can almost feel the weight of the world drift away. The Main House, built in 1876 and lovingly restored, is a treasure trove of antiques and American folkart. Let our warm hospitality embrace you and let our expertise of all that is Sonoma County: wine country; dramatic coastal beaches; and towering redwoods guide you to make the most of your time here.
Sandwich Glass Suite - Spacious and romantic, this multilevel suite features a queen bed and a wonderful garden view. A spa tub for two and a window seat sit tucked into a cozy nook.

The large sitting room offers an antique mahogany writing table, overstuffed easy chairs, and a fireplace. Named for the curtain tiebacks crafted in the Cape Cod town of Sandwich, this room displays a large collection of the Victorian-era gems.MarbleS Suite - This roomy suite has a King Bed, living area with loveseat that can convert to a bed, and two easy chairs. A gas fireplace and a whirlpool tub offer the perfect amenities for romance. A collection of marbles is displayed in a thimble case.
Quilt Room - With its bold golden walls and vibrant quilts, this fun room is one of the Inn's most colorful rooms. Whimsical and bright, it offers a spa tub for two and

great garden views out the large picture window. Floor lamps in the form of folk-art characters stand sentry on each side of the gas fireplace. A giraffe painting hangs over the sitting area, and big-bellied ceramic friars are now lamps on each side of the queen pine bed. A folk-art rocking cow toy and a five-foot pair of scissors — formerly a tailor's trade sign — complete the quirky setting.Cut Glass Suite - This suite features a secluded private patio and a full-size hot tub. An electric fireplace and two Adirondack chairs complete the outdoor area.

Black-and-white landscape photographs, sleek mahogany furniture, and chocolate-brown leather chairs add to the refined and cozy décor. A striking red and white quilt sits on this king bed, and a collection of clear cut-glass bottles from 19th-century England and Ireland grace the bedside shelf.
The Sugar Room- The French doors of this classic room open to the beautiful courtyard garden and bubbling fountain. Overstuffed easy chairs sit in front of the fireplace and antique horse-hunting prints hang over the luxurious king bed. A corner shelf displays pressed-pattern glass bowls made for the coarse sugar of the late 1800s. This first-floor room accommodates the physically challenged with a roll-in shower, a hand-held shower head, and a fold-down shower bench.Tiffany Room - The original 1877 bedroom of the property. Queen Charlston Mahogany furniture and featuring a wood-burning fireplace, a four-poster queen canopy bed, and a two-person shower, this dreamy room is a great choice for a honeymoon or an ongoing romance. A tiny mahogany loveseat and wicker easy chairs comprise a cozy sitting area in front of the hearth. A large private deck with two lounge chairs overlooks the Inn's patio gardens and the redwood forest beyond. The lavender walls display a Tiffany silver flatware collection housed in a unique shadow box.
Leaf Umbrella - Rich green walls provide a vibrant backdrop to this inviting first-floor room. Eyelet bed hangings and an antique quilt adorn the romantic queen canopy bed. Out the window, our courtyard garden with its bubbling fountain provides a picture-perfect view. An original watercolor of prickly pear cacti by local artist Woody Payne is the focal point of this very inviting room. A cozy sitting area with its corner potbellied stove complete the room.Ivory Room - Filled with intricate, hand-carved "netsuke", this sunny room features a marvelous collection of 19th-century ivory miniatures from Japan. Over the king bed hang a pair of hand-colored fish prints with intricately carved frames. The sitting area's patchwork swivel chairs cozy up to the brick fireplace.
We take great pride in the food we serve. Breakfast includes juice, seasonal fresh fruit, baked goods from our Inn's recipes, and our "world-famous" granola. A hot entree is served and changes daily. We do our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions...just let us know when you make your reservation. The living room, with three sitting areas, provides the weary traveler a colorful respite from the busy world. Adorning the walls is a rare collection of green Majollica plates by Wedgewood. Relax with a cup of coffee in the morning and catch up on reading. A selection of magazines as well as our very popular book, "The Secret Language of Birthdays," offers a variety of topics for lively conversation during our evening wine and cheese reception.
