Napa Old World Inn

We spent the night at Napa Old World Inn to celebrate my Mom's Birthday and I can't say enough good things about the whole experience. It was an unforgettable experience! Thank you!

A great place if you like to be close to restaurants and wine tasting venues. We love to walk and this was perfect. Very comfortable rooms and the evening desserts and breakfast was excellent. I loved it and will definitely go again.

We loved this bed and breakfast and enjoyed the excellent service by the host when we arrived. Wine tasting in the evening, desserts, and breakfast were all excellent. They also provided us with advice on wineries to visit that we loved. I'd recommend Andretti's and Goosecross as some of my favorites!

Excellent location in the heart of city of Napa. Very close to shops and tons of great restaurants. The staff know all about the Valley and are very attentive. They are happy to discuss different wineries or itineraries. Definitely recommend.

I was so excited just to be able to visit Napa and also to stay in a B&B as well. The Old World Inn was a really great first time experience and I was definitely sad to leave. We were greeted promptly and it was quick and simple as she showed us where everything was and what they offered each day. A different yummy egg dish served with a fruit starter, and orange juice or infused water each morning at 9 am (24hr coffee and tea available), then a selection of desserts after 6:30 or so. An assortment of DVDs to watch on our huge TV screen, cable, a fireplace, and my favorite part, a big bathroom with a tub for two! The room is definitely on the small side, but it felt cozy and the king size bed was really comfortable and worth the lack of space. We stayed in the separate cottage in the back on Polk Street, and enjoyed the privacy of not being in the main house where it might get a little noisy with people walking through on the creaky floorboards. I was glad to have read that in a previous review because I'm a light sleeper, and would rather have privacy than be social with the other guests. The Inn is really close to downtown Napa, and the Safeway across the street is convenient (a little unsightly, but we weren't bothered by that). There is noise occasionally from the neighborhood, such as dogs, gardeners, and trash pick up Friday mornings, but I expected as much when she warned me it was located downtown. Overall, I would recommend this place, and would really like to come back next year.

We had a wonderful time in Napa and staying at the Old World Inn was te cherry on top! The desserts and homemade breakfasts were an amazon bonus to wonderful B&B!

We had a great time during our stay, and wished we could have stayed another night! As it was, we arrived in time for cookies, tea and a wine tasting downstairs. Although I had originally stated that we would be arriving late in the evening, I called the day of our arrival to see if we could come earlier and they had no difficulty accomodating that request. Breakfast was delicious, although it would have been nice to have individual trays rather than the larger basket, and the room was small but very cute with a great tub/bathroom. The staff was available whenever we needed them, and it was a great birthday present for my boyfriend. We will hopefully be coming back very soon!

My husband and I have been to many BB but Old World Inn is by far the best place we have been too. The service was great, the staff very helpful (especially Janet) and it great atmosphere. Next time we go back to Napa we will definitely be staying at Old World Inn.

After two nights in Sonoma, my boyfriend and I drove to Napa for one last relaxing night of vacation. We're from New York, and were blown away by how calm and beautiful everything was! We stayed in the Aria room in a cottage behind the inn. The room was quite small- no space to really do anything but sleep- but it was quite cozy. There's also a living room/ sitting area inside the cottage, so you can eat or work there if you need to. There is a large DVD library to borrow form (free of charge), and we had a very cozy night in after a great dinner in town (Grace's Table). The complimentary wine tasting was a large part of why we chose this inn, and we loved it; we enjoyed generous tastes of two wines and a few appetizers. There were two dessert treats set out at night: mango drizzled with chocolate and small s'mores. Not quite the decadent chocolate bar I'd imagined, but a nice touch nonetheless! The next morning we enjoyed fruit salad (from a can, which was unexpected in California, the land of fresh produce) and a croissant, blueberry cake and a cheese souffle. It was a little heavy for our liking (although it smelled delicious) so we found breakfast elsewhere. We are also, admittedly, food snobs, and the inn's food was better than most places. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It was cozy, romantic, and just what we needed.

The private cottage was the perfect choice for our escape. The decorations and extra touches made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable! The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing after our busy day and having the fireplace as a night light was very soothing and peaceful.

Terrific stay and some of the best breakfasts we have ever had at any B&B. Also loved the nightly wine tasting and appetizers from some nice wineries. very helpful recommendations. Provided to go breakfast on early day. High recommendation

Spent Sunday night and the place is very charming, breakfast over the top delicious and they were very generous with their wine tasting in the afternoon. Great location, walking distance to restaurants. Would recommend this place to others.

Our Tuscany Room has a huge screen & projector. It was great for watching movies. The staff was very helpful. Special treats included chocolate cookies and beverages in the afternoon and yummy chocolate desserts in the evening. We enjoyed the wine tasting and appetizers they had. The staff went above and beyond to answer any questions and help with things we needed. Easy freeway access and close to wineries.

We stayed in the Private Cottage and just loved it! The fireplace, jacuzzi, sky light...everything was just wonderful! Breakfast was delicious and light but filling. The B&B is perfectly located within walking distance of many restaurants, wineries and even a grocery store for quick incidentals. We ended up having to leave early on Sunday morning which meant we would miss breakfast that day. The innkeepers were very gracious and prepared a breakfast for us ahead of time so that we could have it in our room before we checked out...I'd say that was above and beyond our expectations! This was our first trip to the Napa Valley. After much research, we decided to try a B & B. This was the most enjoyable vacation that we have ever had and the experience at the Old World Inn was a big part of that. The staff, acomodations,and food were all beyond our expectations. We had a great stay at the Old World Inn. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

My 23 year old daughter and I came to Napa Valley for a much needed mother/daughter getaway. We were lucky enough to stay at the Old World Inn (Bed & Breakfast). The location was fabulous for us, just 1 ½ blocks from the heart of downtown Napa. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the accommodations at the Old World Inn and their staff. From my initial inquiries and throughout our stay, I want to especially thank Hillary for her information, care, and help. She went above and beyond providing area maps, coupons, discounts, and advice. Hillary also was able to make a reservation for us for a guided winery tour. When we were picked up for our winery tour the guide provided us with a special embossed journal/diary to keep notes about our tastings courtesy of ‘The Old World Inn’! This was just one of many nice touches the Inn provided. The gourmet breakfast each morning was delicious and started our day with a full tummy! I would highly recommend ‘the Old World Inn’ and hope to be able to revisit again in the future.

We really appreciated the security upon entering, and the warm greeting from the owner. We were early, but Russ took the time to give us some suggestions to start our day with. We wanted obscure wineries where the owners poured. We ended up visiting only 3 because of the great service we got! Back at the Inn, our room was incredibly nice. King bed that looked like a princess! Fireplace in the room and a jetted tub. We took advantage of the evening wine tasting and met some priceless new friends. All the fine restaurants are walking distance which I particularly liked. A nice walk in a safe neighborhood was perfect, just before the nightcap of chocolate. Like a well trained dog, I started to look forward to the evening return from town to find a new delectable chocolate treat under that glass dome in the hall. This may just be a B&B, but they could make a mint as just a breakfast hot spot. As the clock turned 9am, we descended the stairs to the catacombs of the inn to find a delightful wine cellar with five star set tables and a gourmet breakfast. Over the top is all I can say.

Very nice place to stay. Laid back and comfortable. The peopleare very nice and accomodating. Good food!

My fiancé and I really end enjoyed the stay! We were blocks away from running trails and downtown restaurants. The inn keeper was knowledgeable and very helpful, and the food was amazing!

Very nice and quaint B & B , walking distance to Downtown Napa. Russ & Sharon ( the Owners) are very friendly and courteous. They know the area well, and offered excellent wine tasting and restaurant recommendations. This is a 4 star ( out of 5) B & B .

The Napa Old World Inn was amazing. The room was a perfect size, the innkeeper was extremely friendly and helpfull, and the breakfasts and nighttime snacks were fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone that I knew who might be going to Napa. I can't wait to go back.

I would definitely recommend the Old World Inn! The room was just like I had seen in the picture! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty. The best part of our stay, though, was the wine tasting in the cellar! The owner had great stories to tell and gave a little history behind different aspects of wine. He even brought out a bottle of wine from his own collection! This was by far a memorable hour! I will be going back for sure!

Found this B&B online on our way up to Napa. Looked at others but this one appealed to us the most so we called. We were less then 30 minutes away and they were able to take our reservation and accommodate our requests. Super friendly, super efficient in booking us and the place was super comfortable.

TheB&B was beautiful, we loved all of the perks. Besides the breakfast, there was also a daily wine tasting, desserts, a DVD library, coffee/tea always available, wine opener and wine glasses in each room... There was everything we'd ever need, and the staff was so hospitable!

We stayed at Napa Old World Inn for our anniversary and had a great time. The innkeepers were friendly and had great suggestions. The room was beautiful, and the innkeepers created a fun, welcoming atmosphere with the evening wine reception and delicious breakfast. We had a great time!

Upon check we were greeted with friendly,attentive staff! Our room was fabulous with a huge comfy bed, fire place, ceiling fan! The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean! We enjoyed the appetizers and wine at the nightly wine reception. Very informational and informative! Breakfast the next morning was a real delight and the chocolate treats in the hallway was a great midnight snack! All around great place that we will be repeat customers at!

The Napa Old World Inn is a bed and breakfast that you will need to try. The structure of the building, inside and out, reminded me of my grandmothers home. Eating breakfast with other guests was a lovely experience, getting to know each other and conversing with the table was just like at home. A very warm and heartfelt experience. Breakfast was devine - souffle, scone, salsa and fruit - all homemade and delish! Brownies and truffles in the evening was decadent! Coffee and juice - rich, robust and flavorful. The Chocolat room where our friends stayed was so adorable. The entire experience took me back in time. We will definately come back!

The Old World Inn has all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. Good rates after harvest and yummy desserts.

Traveled to Napa from the East Bay Area for a Merle Haggard show at the Uptown Theater. Decided to spend the night and found this place on the internet. In the past most places I've tried to reserve in Napa have minimum 2 night stays. This place did not so we booked it for a Saturday night. Turned out to be perfect. Very close to down town Napa, easy to find, parking available, very nice rooms and great staff. Had a great breakfast served to us on Sunday morning before returning to Bay Area. Merle Haggard show was also great.

This inn has everything; comfort, coziness, cleanliness, fantastic food, wonderful location, and a helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in Terra, which was small, but had everything - jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and king size bed. An outstanding value, for sure! If you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway - this is it! The staff is friendly, not stuffy at all!

Our stay at the Old World Inn really set the bar high for any future trip. They booked all of our events for us, made us yummy breakfast and even arranged a nightly wine tasting event for everyone at the Inn. not to mention all the goodies they had on hand in between meals. What more could you ask for? Let's just say the next place we stay has a lot to live up to.

We have been staying at Bed and Breakfast's for years now, first time to Napa and Old World Inn, Fantastic, you would pay double and get less for what we got at any Hotel. Make sure you ask for the Breakfast in Bed Service, cause it is well worth not getting up and out for Breakfast after a great day of visiting the Wineries and Nightlife in Napa. Doesn't hurt that it is 5 star dining as well.

We came off season so the rate was quite discounted. We had a great time and really could not imagine a better experience. The room was cozy, inviting and clean, the food was fantastic and there are a few great little touches like coffee and tea available 24 hours a day, afternoon cookies, and nighttime dessert. The service was friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I spent three nights over the New Years' weekend at the Napa Old World Inn, in the Biblioteca room. The breakfasts were outstanding -- souffles with tasty breads, scones, etc. The only negatives were the lack of closet space (probably not an issue for most travelers who spend only one or two nights) and a tight fit in the shower due to the shower curtain closing in on the available space.

My husband and I stayed in the Old World Inn for our belated honeymoon and I can without a doubt say that this was the most relaxing vacation of my life, due in large part to the Old World Inn. Our room was so cozy, with a fireplace (it was December) and a fluffy King bed. We were in one of the cottages (unbeknownst to us until our arrival!) which gave us wonderful privacy. We also had a huge kitchen attached to our room, again, a total surprise! It felt like they had put us in the honeymoon suite, even though we hadn't specifically requested it. We were also given a bottle of sparkling wine on Christmas because my husband is in the military. The breakfasts were truly wonderful, and we enjoyed both the breakfast in bed option as well as the breakfast in the wine cellar. We did both several times. It was so fun going to the main house to make coffee or tea or hot cocoa to take with us on our walks and drives through the valley. And we never got dessert at restaurants, knowing there would be a delicious treat waiting for us back at the B&B! Book this B&B--it was absolutely magical.

Terra room is beautiful with a large kitchen that was not advertised. The wine tasting was a nice bonus. The bed mattress was a little soft, but the room was outstanding otherwise--beautifully decorated. The inn was very accomodating and made sure I got a vegan breakfast. Everyone was very courteous. The coffee/tea and dvd selection is great. Cable would be a nice bonus since there are tvs in the rooms.

We checked in late, after hours, but as soon as we walked in, all we could say was "WOW!" It was like being home away from home. The environment was so warm and welcoming! I loved that we had a lot of DVD movies to choose from, having breakfast in the cellar, and the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! I didn't want to go home. I told my husband that we definitely need to invest in one of those beds. We love how the staff would leave us cards with little notes, especially the night before we were going to check out, there was a card on our door letting us know that they would be bringing us Breakfast in Bed in the morning! Those little gestures made our experience more personal and it made us feel taken care of! Thank You! We will definitely visit Old World Inn again! ... Ana & Mario

The staff have a perminent smile and gracious words. The Inn keepers, Sharon &Russ are personable and never rush ANYONE. you could just accidently have walked in and asked for directions to another B&B and they will get you talking proudly about your family like you've known them for years! We went for our engagement celebration and we have already decided to go back for our honeymoon and anniversaries to follow! They are our second home!

Charming, warm and quite inviting. One settles in quickly, hence it has all of the values of home with a touch of personal pampering. Hilarie and her colleagues could not do enough to ensure one's every needs were met during the entire stay. Thank you so much for a truly memorable experience. The Old World Inn was wonderful! It was an overdue get-away and was exactly what we wanted! We couldn't believe all of the little extras - even a wine tasting on sight! Fantastic! Thank you! We hope to be back soon.

Just had a wonderful weekend at the Old World Inn. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and the service was excellent. The food was very healthful and delicious. I also have to say their movie collection which made for a nice way to unwind after a day of wine tasting.

Extremely helpful staff, beautiful B&B in a perfect location. This was our second stay in four years and we would definitely go back. The food was amazing and staff was very helpful. Our cottage was awesome and they made all of our reservations and gave great suggestions. Highly recommend!

They were nicely accommodating to my gluten and dairy allergies. The bed was a bit too soft but otherwise our super short stay was extremely pleasant. Nice gas fireplace

My first visit to Napa Valley was amazing! Much thanks to the entire staff at Old World Inn from pre-arrival to post-departure, everyone was very nice and accommodating. My girlfriend and I stayed in one of the Acqua rooms, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and layout. Wonderful location to downtown Napa (walking distance) and the chef was more than gracious in accommodating my dietary needs for daily breakfast. We will be back!

OWI was very cute. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the cottages which made our stay feel more secluded and like we were in a little house rather than in the main building. The rooms were very clean, and the perfect size for the 2 of us, who only used the room to sleep in. My only picky dislike was the bed was tooo soft for me, but my fiance thought it was just fine! The food was great, the breakfast's kept me full all through late afternoon! We loved the daily wine tastings at 5:30! and the recommended restaurants from Hilary at the front desk always gave us a great deal! OWI has some connections in the area and provides complimentary wine tastings through out the valley and at some of the local restaurants you can get a free appetizer! We would definitely recommend this B&B and would definitely stay here again when we plan to return!

This is a lovely inn. The location is a short walk to downtown. The innkeepers were all welcoming and accommodating. Our room was small, but cozy, with a little fireplace in the wall and had a little outdoor seating area. The bed was very comfortable. There were wine tastings every evening and very tasty deserts at night. The food was very good. For Napa, it is a great value. I highly recommend it.

Wow, what a great find! We all loved this place. The location was convenient to restaurants, driving and morning runs. The Breakfasts were beyond what we expected and very delicious. The bed was super comfortable and the nightly outdoor fires were appreciated. Great place for a getaway!

Stayed in Secret Garden, lovely room right off kitchen. Worked well for us. Very clean, owner greeted us in morning. Declicious breakfast. Recommended Platypus for Napa Wine Tour, it was fabulous. Walking distance to downtown where we went to watch the baseball playoffs. Rooms are very nice with big screens and jacuzzi tubs, but we were only there for two days and busy busy so no time to enjoy. They boxed a breakfast up for us the day we left at 7:00 a.m. Thanks for everything. Great experience overall.

The innkeeper was very informative on what wineries to see and even got us special treatment for staying at Old World Inn. The rooms are amazing, very clean! We will definitely come back again and again. Btw, the breakfast is first class!

The Inn hit 5 on all points from the size of the bedroom/bathroom to the service and special amenities it offer; Happy pleasant service, home baked cookies, wine tastings in the wine cellar with local wine makers, home made desserts and a delicious breakfast, coffee and teas all day long, fire places indoor/outdoor were very romantic, private parking, enjoyed the company of all the guests we met there.

Everything was wonderful! Great location, walking distance to wonderful restaurants and bars. The room was a little small, but that was to be expected. We had to catch an early flight and they were sweet enough to put breakfast in the refrigerator for us. I will be returning soon!

We loved our stay at The Napa Old World Inn as it was our first time to Napa and 2nd time for our bestfriends' who stayed in another part of town. We loved the embracing warmth of the staff, the intriging knowledge of Russ recanting his phenomenal stories and history of wine and 'wonder', and the exemplary customer service given by all the staff - at every level. First time at a Bed and Breakfast and first time in Napa. Napa Old World Inn made both very memorable. Property was remodeled perfectly to include the old charm with modern technology and conveniences. (wireless internet. big screen tvs). Russ (the proprietor), was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with winery tours and tastings. The breakfast were exceptional. If I ever return to Napa, the Old World Inn would be my only lodging choice.

We stayed at the Old World Inn on our honeymoon. It was a great find! The room was clean and decorated very nicely. We had to leave early one morning, before breakfast would be served, and they made us a delicious breakfast to go that we were able to pick up on our way out. Talk about service!

Great place to stay. This was our first B & B, we worried about privacy but it was not an issue. Our rooms were perfect, immaculate. Breakfast was lovely, plus all the special treats. Delightful place, great location.

You should not even think twice. There is not a better B&B then the "Old World Inn" in Napa. The owners work at the Inn full time and it shows. Extremely helpful and friendly staff makes you feel you are home and a part of the family. The breakfast every morning is too die for. This is not your traditional breakfast you would expect. This is juices, cereals, puff pastries, egg souffle's, home baked bread & lots of other great non traditional items. We missed out on there evening treats due to poor planning on our part but heard wonderful things. We definitely will stay at this place without a shadow of doubt. Thank you Russ & Sharon

Everything from the gourmet breakfast to evening wine tastings were above and beyond. We absolutely loved our stay. The beds are so comfortable--you won't want to get out of bed!

We had the La Bibilioteca Room. We totallly loved it! Location was great! You can walk to downtown Napa in 4 minutes. The wine tasting at the Inn each night along with some appetizers was always something to look forward to. The chocolate bar in the evening was superb! Definitely would return to Old World Inn on our next visit to Napa!

As first time Napa visitors, we were very lucky to have been able to stay with Russ and Sharon at the Napa Old World Inn. It is the perfect combination of laid back Napa hospitality and first class personal service. From the ease of checking in, to the nightly tastings by local wineries, to the made on site croissants at breakfast, the Napa Old World Inn surpassed our every expectation.

Just returned from a great week in CA, we started our trip in Napa. Russ and Sharon really went out of there way to make sure we had a wonderful visit. we had two other couples staying with us, one will be returning next month with 10 other guest. The location was perfect a nice easy walk to town, where ther were several quality resturants to chose from. Russ also will make you resevations with priority seating. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Napa go no further stay at the Napa Old World Inn. Ken D Long Island NY

We loved our stay at the Napa Old World Inn. Our room was in the Polk St. house. Everything was extremely clean and the staff was wonderful! The breakfasts were delicious as were the cookies and nightly chocolates. We really enjoyed the nightly wine tasting in the wine cellar. It was very informative. The entire house has a beautiful atmosphere and charm. We definitely plan on returning and have already recommended it to several friends and family.

First B&B experience, will try more based on this wonderful inn! Called the afternoon of arrival for another room for my daughter. Hosts were so very accommodating. Gave me a good price even though we really needed the room and it was late. They even left a breakfast to-go for her because she had to leave very early the next morning. Obviously fantastic service. Rooms were large, bathroom large and nice enough for royalty. Bedding excellent. Way to go, Old World Inn!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in Sept 2012. The Night in Paris Room, while somewhat small, had a small balcony. As smokers, we appreciated being able to step out of the room, onto the balcony, without having to get dressed and leave the room. The bed was super-comfy...with lots of pillows. The large screen TV, with surround sound, was great for watching a few movies from the LARGE collection of DVDs kept onsite. They had multiple copies of Bottleshock and Sideways, both excellent Napa/Sonoma wine country movies. Only downside to the room was a high 'porthole' window above the balcony doors. There was no way to cover this window, allowing the early morning light to brighten the room earlier than my wife and I would prefer to awaken. On the plus side, the room was at the end of the hallway, so noise was minimal. By the way, the breakfasts were out of this world. This coming from parents of a chef. Would give this BNB a strong 9 out of 10.

My husband and I stayed in the Chocolat room at the Old World Inn Cabernet House and loved our room! He was especially fond of the projection TV inside our huge poster bed. From the moment we checked in, we were made to feel at home. Tom showed us where everything was and gave us some restaurant recommendations - most are within walking distance to downtown Napa, which is very conveneint after a long day of wine tasting. We especially enjoyed being able to stroll downstairs to a lovely breakfast each moring and hearing about all the great wineries from the other guests. The french press coffee, available at any hour, was awesome! We loved getting our decaf and plate of desserts each night and enjoying them in our room. I would highly recommend The Old World Inn if you're seeking a place to relax and enjoy all that wine country has to offer.

Our stay at Old World Inn was fabulous. My husband and I have traveled extensively around the globe, and this is the best B&B we have stayed in. The hospitality was superb and the breakfast was gourmet delicious. The wine tasting on-site was fun and a nice way to meet our temporary neighbors. The location is close to downtown restaurants and shops. I was concerned when I read that the room was small, but we were only in it to sleep and it was pleasantly quaint. We will be back next year.

We stayed a friday and Saturday night at the Old World Inn. It far exceeded my expectations in almost every way! Our breakfast was restaurant quality soufle and homemade pastry both days, the evening deserts and coffee were amazing, the innkeepers were helpful and attentive and offered great advice on where to eat, wineries to go to, how to avoid traffic etc. We stayed in the Aqua room and the bathroom was huge! The jetted tub was great, king size bed and sitting area were all things that I wasnt expecting from a B&B but made our stay very pleasant. I would definitely stay here over the hotels in Napa which cost a fortune but dont offer the perks that the Old World Inn offers!

We stayed in 'Starry Night'. The room was great. The breakfast each morning was outstanding. We even had to leave early our last day to make our flight, and they made us a to-go breakfast. Local wineries come each afternoon to do a tasting, and that was a really nice perk. We'll stay here again if we're ever in the area.

Everything about our stay at Napa Old World Inn was wonderful! The room was small & cozy; loved the chocolate in the evening & the coffee available all day. The wine reception in the evening was a nice touch & breakfast was amazing...one of the best meals on our trip! The staff was very friendly & they kept a binder at the desk with local restaurants' menus-great idea!

I was curious to stay in this B&B, recommended by friends and in the Net and finally we had the opportunity to book and visit the Napa Valley. Our expectations have been exceeded, beautiful venue, excellent food (We loved the homemade cookies and the breakfast), very kind personnel and owners. Every detailed is taken care to make the stay unforgettable. We hope to have the opportunity to visit it again.

This Inn was absolutely charming! The Inn itself was so inviting and the room was beautiful and cozy. My fiance and I enjoyed the hospitality and delicious food! Our bed was so comfy and the spa tub was a very nice touch :) We are going to make this an annual trip and we will be returning next year to the Napa Old World Inn. We cannot wait!!

Once you try this B&B, you will never want to stay at a hotel. Me and my daughter stayed at the Chocolate room. The pictures are not even close how beautiful this room is. I was the last person taking a bath in an original 106 years old bathtub. The inkeeper is super nice, and what a cook! If you are going to Napa, I can't think of a better place to go than this.

It was our first time to Napa and our first time in a B&B. Wow what a experience! From all the personalized touches including a beautifully served breakfast and dining tips, we had a great time!! Will definitely be coming back next year!

We loved our stay. The room (Starry Night) was perfect (we did not find it too small), and we loved the outdoor tub (perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine). The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, happy to provide advice about wineries to visit and tour and about places where we could stop to eat nearby. We loved the small touches, such as coffee and tea always being available and the cookies and desserts. It was truly as if we stayed with good friends. In addition, we loved the wine and appetizers in the evening -- the host was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was not simply "wine and snacks are available," but, instead, more like a tasting seminar held by an expert. We loved it and found it extremely welcoming and educational! All in all, it was a perfect getaway.

I wanted to surprise my wife for our 25th. All the way to Napa Valley she was trying to figure out where we were going. Well, she figured out that we were spending the day in Napa Valley, but she was very surprised when I pulled into Old World Inn! I had told her to pack an overnight bag "in case the day got long and we needed to spend the night somewhere." She didn't know that I had already registered. Old World Inn is actually several properties around Napa. We stayed in the Main House. It was located within walking distance of Napa square, where there are lots of restaurants and fun shops. The owners/inn keepers made a great suggestion for dinner and even steered us away from places that looked interesting but probably wouldn't have pleased our palates. They were also very helpful in helping us to schedule our day as this was our first visit to Napa Valley. The list of little 'extras' goes on and on - from the cookies when we checked in, to the complimentary wine tasting and snacks, to the chocolate deserts that were in the common area when we got back from dinner - it was like you were being welcomed to stay at your favorite Aunt and Uncle's house! Overall, Old World Inn helped to make our 25th a very enjoyable occasion!

Disappointing, overrated, over priced, not worth it. Just spent two nights here, and what a waste of money. Wow, my wife and I have stayed at easily 10 better bed and breakfasts in the last year. Stains in the carpet, in desperate need of replacement. Mac and cheese for breakfast? Not what you expect for over $250 a night. Second morning breakfast did not offer fresh fruit, and pretty much the same souffle, without the macaroni. The bed was lumpy and pillows thin and uncomfortable. Service was fine. Water in a cooler in the dining area was merely tap water. Either the other reviewers have been disingenuous or have not experienced a quality b n b. I have never been this mislead with a property.

It can't get much better than the Old World Inn B&B in Napa. The breakfast is delicious each morning, and the B&B is in walking distance to everything in Downtown Napa. Plus, the place/rooms are adorable. I'd highly recommend it!

Beautiful grounds...room was very nice...loved the wine tasting...excellent food. The location is very good and they give you an excellent pamphlet with information on all the walkable restaurants and things to do. Would highly recommend this place!

This is our second time at the Old World Inn in Napa. It has become a bit of a tradition to do our anniversary celebration in Napa, so when we do an overnight stay, it has been here. The service is courteous and efficient, the breakfasts both mornings were excellent, and we've now done two different rooms in the main house, Bella Tuscany this time around, and the Starry Night the last time, with Starry Night being our favorite. Since we were return customers, we were offered either a complimentary champagne, or complimentary breakfast in bed, so we opted for the latter. It's a nice change from the usual hotel experience, and convenient to many shopping areas/restaurants/vineyards in the Napa Valley. Highly recommend!

From the freshly baked cookies at check-in to the wine tasting with snacks in early evening the Napa Old World Inn complements the fine dining available in the area. Upon returning for the evening you will get two kinds of chocolate desserts to sample. The next morning features the gourmet breakfast using fresh, local ingredients. Individual French press coffee as well as flavored water is available all day. A treat for the taste buds all stay long.

Our stay was wonderful. Russ and Sharon were so helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Chocolate chip cookies at checkin with strawberry lavender infused water. very nice touch. The wine tasting each night in the wine cellar was great before dinner. And the breakfast each day was delicious and fantastic. Loved it. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We arrived late and Sharon met us with our key at the door, the staff at breakfast was very friendly and professional. My favorite part was the the rooms were beautifully updated with modern touches but with respect to the character of the building. It was a great spot in the city of napa-close enough to walk but not in the center of everything and also a great central location to wineries. I will recommend the Old World Inn to friends for sure!

We have been pampered. The place is marvelous. Many details made our staying so great. Our room was comfortable and also well decorated just as the cottage. The tasting at 5 O'clock helped us to go Hagafen the day after. Camed back home with one of their bottle. We have an uncommon and delightful breakfast . A tasteful omelette that looked like a sunshine in our plate. Could not ask more.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at the Old World Inn, our room was the smallest but it was plenty big as we were out at various places during the day. Even being right off the main lobby our room was quiet and we were not disturbed by people passing through the lobby. Everything about our stay was exactly as described online and in emails we received from the inn. Thank you for a great weekend!

The Old World Inn is a fantastic B&B on the edge of downtown Napa. The innkeepers pay far more attention to your comforts than a typical B&B. The rooms are delightfully decorated, but with modern features like large flat-screen TVs and a separate thermostat! Breakfasts are four-star. You'll enhoy relaxing in the back courtyard around a fire with fresh oranges right from the tree above you. Walking distance to everything downtown including the Wine Train, their map will be your guide. If you want to get away for a weekend, a week, or a special occasion, the OWI is for you.

This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and we were so impressed! The owners are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. They know the area extremely well and act as a wonderful concierge service to help with dinner reservations and tips about what vineyards to go to, etc. You can tell that they sincerely care about pleasing their guests. They have created a very hospitable atmosphere! Our room was fantastic! We stayed in one of the Aria rooms (which I believe is one of their smallest rooms) but we actually thought it felt bigger than the picture online showed. It was a perfect place to crash at night after lots of wine tastings! It was all the little things that added up to making Old World Inn such a great experience for us. Breakfast was great- very delicious! We enjoyed our fair share of cookies put out throughout the day and always looked forward to coming back from dinner to grab a few chocolates and some french press coffee. We utilized the movies they had available frequently and loved learning about smaller vineyards at the daily wine receptions held in the wine cellar. The location is fantastic- easily walkable to several world-class restaurants in downtown Napa. They even provided us with a map of suggested restaurants that they put together for their guests. I have already recommended Old World Inn to many friends! You will not be disappointed.

We were up for a wedding in Clear Lake and didn't want to go all the way home so I mentioned that we could stay at the Old World Inn again. The first time is when we went on The Wine Train. Our room was perfect, fireplace, spa tub, chairs and a table by the window.. and the breakfast was superb. In walking distance to shopping and restaurants.. My husband suggested spending our anniversary there in August... will be making my reservations soon.

My husband and I stayed here for our fourth anniversary, and were totally blown away by the Napa Old World Inn. The rooms were quaint, but so cozy, and the staff was so helpful. The amenities were great, and really made you feel welcome. We loved the complimentary wine tasting and desserts, and of course the single serving french press! When we checked in the staff was so warm and helpful. They gave us recommendations for dinner and walked us to our room, where we found wine glasses and a congratulatory card for our anniversary. The next morning, breakfast was amazing and Russ was on hand to introduce himself and give us tips on getting around Napa, where to eat and where to taste. We were hoping for a friendly bed and breakfast, that was walking distance to downtown, and we ended up with so much more! We'll definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the "Aqua" room and couldn't have been more pleased. It surpassed our expectations. The location was wonderful...short walking distance to downtown as well as supermarket for any essentials anyone may have forgotten to pack. The staff was more than helpful with recommendations, directions, etc... Our only complaint is that breakfast was only served between 9 and 10.

Really great little place for a Napa experience. Staff was extremely helpful. Close enough to downtown for walking to tasting rooms and the excellent restaurants. Breakfast and desserts were incredible. We were on a mildly busy street but you couldn't really tell from inside. The main house is on a quieter street. Room was very cute. Both buildings were old with original type furnishings. Really nice. Definitely recommend this inn.

My husband and I traveled to Napa for a special trip, and had such an amazing time. The vacation was everything we wanted it to be. Our stay at the Old World Inn was wonderful and we loved the personal attention we received each day to help us plan our activities. This was our very first trip to Napa and it won't be our last. We were in CA on business and decided to belatedly celebrate our 25th anniversary with two nights at the Old World Inn. It was fabulous. The room was spectacular and Sharon and Russ were so helpful in the planning of our exploration of the wineries (something that we don't have here in FL). It was a place to totally relax and be pampered.

My husband and I decided to stay at The Old World Inn for our joint 30th birthday vacation getaway to Napa Valley in June. We chose to stay here because the inn had been featured in Oprah Magazine and I figured Oprah wouldn't steer me wrong. I am so happy we chose this place! The inn is super charming, the food is delicious and the service we received was above our expectations. Our room (Aria 8) was gorgeous and the spa tub was unlike any tub I had ever seen. We made it our routine to take a spa bath at the end of every day! The owners, Russ and Sharon, make themselves available frequently throughout the day and give the best restaurant recommendations! I can not say enough wonderful things about this place and we will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I spent a few days in Napa prior to a week in Sonoma. Found this B&B after reading lots of reviews. We stayed in one of the aqua suites and the room was fantastic. The bed was incredibly comfortable with down comforters and great pillows! Our hosts were very helpful and gracious. They are passionate about what they do and it shows. They made reservations for us at Morimoto and when we got there we were presented with two glasses of champagne compliments of The Old World Inn. Then we were given an appetizer also from The Old World Inn - over the top! The breakfast is seriously the best I have had at any B&B. Each morning a new type of fresh fruit followed by an egg dish and specialty breads or croissants. Fresh juice and coffee too. Thank you Russ and Sharon for making our stay fabulous. I would highly recommend this B&B. In fact it was so great, we came back at the end of our trip for one more night and one more breakfast.

Great location to downtown Napa. Wonderful and helpful host and hostess. Outstanding knowlege of the area and very accommodating with making recommendations and reservations for dining and tours. Nightly wine tastings at the Inn along with outstanding breakfasts, cookies at four and desserts in the evening made us feel like we were staying at a favorite relatives home. Although the room was on the small side; a king size bed, a 50" TV and DVD player, a large bath with 6ft. jacuzzi tub, a corner fireplace and beautiful wooden window seat along with generous closet space were perfect for our three night stay. Spent 2 nights in June 2012. Great service and Russ gave us great advice to suit our style for a self drive wine tour. Excellent location to base a wine tour from as well as stroll into Napa town for dinner. Delicious breakfasts, evening desserts and enjoyed the wine tastings at the Inn as well. Not cheap, but that's Napa and if you're going to go there, this is a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended.

We couldn't decide on a place to stay and ended up finding the Old World Inn last minute. We needed two different beds which was difficult to find in the Napa area for a B&B. I'm really glad we decided to stay at the OWI. The room was small, but we didn't spend much time in there. The service was great and the staff was friendly and helpful with giving us suggestions on where to go. I would stay here again next time I come back to Napa.

The Old World Inn was such a lovely surprise. The bed was amazing and the room was so cozy. We loved the jacuzzi tub also. I think our favorite part was the breakfasts!!!! I never thought I would ever have a Macaroni and cheese egg souffle for breakfast!!! YUM!! I hope we make it back to Napa soon!

Everything about Napa Old World Inn was wonderful - we drove up from the South Bay for a weekend getaway and were exceedingly happy with our stay. The innkeeper was attentive and warm - made us feel welcome from the start. It was the little things that impressed us - making sure we knew how to work the spa tub, tv, that there were desserts and a wine tasting, pre-loaded French presses, suggestions for dinner, in the event we didn't have plans. The level of service really exceeded my expectations. This being my first time at a B&B, I was concerned that it would be too overbearing and invasive, but the innkeeper was discrete, friendly and left us alone to enjoy our weekend. I admit I felt a little pressure to make small talk at breakfast, but that's probably a rookie feeling :) The room was very well appointed - very clean - very comfortable. We'll definitely go back and recommend to others.

We traveled from Atlanta with our "kids" (18 and 22) and stayed for 5 days. The people were wonderful, the breakfasts were exceptional and the location was just perfect for our plans. We had planned to tour wineries during the day with picnics for lunch and return in the early evening to try local restaurants for dinner. OWI is within easy walking distance of downtown Napa, and the dining options there are great. We didn't have a bad meal. We especially enjoyed the Thursday night downtown Chef's Market (or whatever it is called). OWI's tradition of having local wineries in for on-premise tastings was a hit, as well, and the desserts were very tasty. We'll be back as soon as we can - and the kids may or may not get the option to join us!

This was the first time in a bed and breakfast. Husband in the resort business so wasn't sure how he would like it but he loved it. Very clean, romantic, close walk to downtown where there are great shops and restaurants. Recommendation for a wine tour was excellent.

When looking for a place to celebrate my Wife and I's five year wedding anniversary I can across the Old World Inn. After reading a number of reviews and glancing through the pictures I committed to book our stay. When we arrived to the Old World Inn we were greeted by the Inn Keeper. Check in was quick and we received a tour of the Inn and the many number of accommodations they offered. These included, a coffee station, home made cookies, a wine tasting every night and breakfast in the morning to name a few. The Old World Inn combines the decor of the past with the comforts of the present. When we arrived it our room, it was clean, cool (which was great because the temperature outside was hot) and prepared for our arrival. The Inn had a card on the night stand wishing us a Happy Anniversary, a touch my wife and I appreciated. The Inn is located just one block from town which makes walking to the many restaurants and wine tasting rooms convenient. Laurie at the front desk provided us great recommendations of places to eat, see and wine rooms to go to. Laurie offered to make dining arrangements for us as well. My wife and I participated in the Wine Tasting which is help by different wineries daily. It was a great experience from the appetizers and wine presentation. Breakfast the next morning was amazing. Freshly prepared when you arrive, presentation was amazing and the food was awesome! My wife and I enjoyed the night by the number of fire pits located around the property. On our next Napa trip, my wife and I will be booking our stay at The Old World Inn again.

I love the fact that it is close to downtown and we were able to walk around with little effort. They also gave us tips on how to drive around without hitting traffic which made our stay more enjoyable and no stress. Their bathrooms were clean and organize and breakfast was definitely delicious and homemade.

The service was round the clock excellent, and the staff made you feel at home. The room was warm and comfortable. The dining was excellent. Centrally located in the heart of Napa. Walking distance to everything. The guest appearances by top wine makers (Robert Mondavi) really made this B & B stand out. We were there celebrating our tenth year anniversary we did not want to leave. I could go on and on, but see for yourself. You cannot believe the room rates.

This was our first experience staying at a B&B. We loved it because it seemed like we were returning home each evening after a long day. The breakfast was good and the yummy desserts were fabulous to come home to after dinner. We would love to go back soon!

We stayed in the Starry Night room. It was secluded and comfy. We were surprised to see how many people were at breakfast because we never heard a peep from our room. The breakfast was wonderful as well as dessert before bedtime!

We stayed in the Acqua room for two nights in May 2012. It was very clean, comfortable, beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. The hosts were accomodating in every way. I will definately recommend this to my friends!

We met great people, had excellent food, and the staff was extremely helpful. The wine tastings in the cellar were an added bonus and a great way to meet people and to try out a few wineries that you may not have had a chance to otherwise.

We loved the inn! In addition to being a charming place in a great location with delicious food, the stagg really care. Sharon and Russ gave great local recommendations, helped with driving routes and tips for getting the most out of the Napa experience. We'll be back!

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Old World Inn. The staff and inn keeper were very friendly and personable. They were eager to help us with directions, questions, etc. From 5:30-7:00, they had someone come from a nearby winery to give the guests a wine tasting. They were very generous on the pours. It was a social atmosphere where we chatted with other guests and just enjoyed the wine. They also had little chocolate desserts set out for the guests during the evening. They were small, but really good...just enough to get a taste/quick chocolate fix. There were also coffees, teas, and hot chocolate set out for guests all day/night. They had a water cooler, too. It was really convenient because you could fill up your water bottle. They also had an extensive DVD collection for those people interested in watching movies. We stayed in the Terra room. This room is quite small, but we knew that going in to it. It was enough space for one night and it met our needs. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom shower/tub was huge. We stayed at the Polk Street location. It was a very quiet, safe and lovely neighborhood. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the downtown area. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay in Napa and the Old World Inn. I would definitely recommend the Old World Inn to family and friends.

Booked last minute to join some friends and when the inn realized we would be split up for breakfast b/c we were in different buildings, they upgraded our room for free! It was our first time to Napa and we were given a great map, lots of great suggested wineries/restaurants and a pass for 1/2 off at a winery. We have stayed at a b&b before that was a little too "charming" (aka felt like you were staying at your grandmas), and weren't sure what to expect at the Old World Inn. Very pleasantly surprised that it was much more classic and clean and the buildings were very beautiful. Breakfast was great, the wine tasting was great and we unfortunately missed the chocolate, but hear it was great too. I forgot my glasses there and they immediately mailed them to my house without hesitation. Went above and beyond and was a great value and experience. Will definitely be back soon!

Breakfast is awesome, desserts upon return in the evening in a charming old home and owners who care. Room was cozy, requests were met wonderfully, staff and owners very friendly.

Inn keepers are very nice and breakfast was wonderful. Very helpful with restaurant recommendations and wineries to visit. Many restaurants in walking distance. Very easy to get to. Inn is beautiful.

We stayed in the main house. It was quaint and homey. The room was very small but nice. The chocolates were very nice and the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! Well worth getting up for. Great location. Nice areas to sit outside. The wine tasting at the Inn was a little boring and akward. No one really talked. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

I would recommend this B&B to anybody who likes to be treated special. My daughter,son in law and I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We had a bike tour scheduled one morning and we were needing to leave earlier than when breakfast was being served. We asked if we could have our breakfast boxed to go however the innkeeper(Tom) felt we should be treated special and set up a table in the courtyard early enough for us to have a sit down breakfast with the staff taking the time to wait on us privately. There was always some type of chocolate waiting for the guests in the evening,our favorite were the brownies. The rooms were wonderful,we had a big 2 bedroom suite with a full bathroom and a powder room. We will be back and I have already recommended Old World Inn to several of my friends.

We only stayed one night at the Napa Old World Inn, but that didn’t stop the inn keepers from bending over backward to help us plan our dinner location and winery tour the next day. Sharon and Russ are perfect examples of what B&B hosts should be, and remind us why we chose B&Bs over hotels. Thank you for a wonderful stay. If we ever find ourselves in Napa again, we will certainly book our room at this B&B.

We had a very nice, up to date room in this grand old victorian house. with luxurious linens and huge jet bath. The B&B is in a pleasant neighborhood, truly in walking distance from the downtown area. The" wine cellar" is another great space to enjoy a tasty breakfast. I felt it was a great value for the wine country, overall we had a great stay and will return.

It was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it could not have been more perfect. The owners are very hands on and genuinely care that you are having a perfect stay. All the personal touches make it that much more special. From the cookies at check in, to the gourmet breakfast, to the evening wine tastings complete with cheese and crackers, and the homemade chocolate truffles, they really go above and beyond. At two of our evenings wine tastings, they even had live music in the wine cellar. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfy, ours had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. You may hesitate because of the warnings of how tiny they are, but don't let that deter you... There is enough room for 3 full size suitcases, and what they lack in size, they make up for in charm! Also, there are many other rooms to choose from if you're worried. :) Breakfast is served in a perfect wine cellar, so intimate, so romantic, and SO tasty! An amazing way to start your day in the Napa Valley. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, and you are always greeted with a smile. Russ (one of the owners) even set up a wine tour for us very, very last minute! I would not hesitate to stay here again in the very near future. This place is amazing! I think this bed and breakfast ruined it for every 5 star hotel and b&b I have to stay at when I'm not in Napa. We will be back!

Staff is friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Rooms are romantic, ours was cozy as posted on their site. The tastings in the cellar are fun, and the proximity to the restaurants and shops is close. Overall a very good stay

We arrived late, yet found very detailed and easy instructions to access our room. Tom, the manager met us the next morning and made my wife and I feel very welcome. He set us up for a tour of several wineries through Platypus tours (also an excellent company) and spent a great deal of time customizing our own wine-tasting "self tours" of the countryside, pointing out great deals, museums and art exhibits as well. The food was excellent and the owner was very friendly as well. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I recently stayed one night at Napa Old World Inn. We really enjoyed our stay. Russ was extremely helpful. He gave us excellent dining/wine tasting recommendations. We will definitely stay again!!

LOVED this place. The owners are EXTREMELY helpful & sweet, especially dealing with dinner reservations and winery recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. Charming little room, small, but not TOO small. The room we were in was on the first floor so it could be a bit noisy at times when people were walking past, but other than that - no complaints here. Chocolates in the evening and coffee all day in the lobby. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Napa.

We had a great 3 night stay at Old World Inn. The room and bathroom were immaculate. Breakfasts were delicious along with the evening wine tastings and homemade chocolates. The innkeeper was really helpful in assisting us plan our day and making reservations for vineyards and dinner. Cozy bed and quiet rooms allowed for great nights of sleep after long days of wine tasting!

The staff was very welcoming and knowledgable about the area. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the in room fireplace awesome. The tub was huge! The jets were too loud, like a vacuum, so we didnt use them, but its perfect for soaking and easily fit two people. The breakfast each day was very delicious. The onoly drawback was that breakfast is at 9, which seems a little late to start your day; but on the other hand forces you to relax for a while. A bed and breakfast is the way to go for this sleepy town, and we will no doubt be back to this one in particular.

After the most horrible flight it was just wonderful to sink into the big soft bed. The next morning started with a superb breakfast in the gorgeous breakfast room and the day just got better and better. The winery reccomendations were all wonderful. We bought as many bottles as we could pack. We took part in the wine tasting that evening and even learned a few things. The chocolate treats were the perfect little morsels to finish off the day. The whole miserable experience of my previous day just melted away. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed in the Walden Cottage, which is private and extremely quiet. Perfect for light sleepers or just those who prefer more seclusion. Tucked back behind the main inn, the cottage is equipped with everything you need for a romantic vacation - fireplace, jacuzzi tub, king-size canopied bed. It was lovely! Breakfast in the AM was delicious and inventive, enjoyed with fellow guests around a large table. Tom provided wonderful advice on where to eat and an excellent winery tour. With the Inn's proximity to downtown, it's the perfect location to walk to numerous fabulous restaurants. We will definitely be back!

A great place to stay in the middle of Napa and within walking distance to tasting rooms and restaurants. The value was outstanding because we did stay in the offseason when prices are exceptionally good.

Our visit to Old World Inn was amazing! From the moment we walked in (and we were early), we were greeted with a smile, a fruit infused water, a full detail of the area, suggested places to dine, suggested wineries, coupons for wine tastings, coupons for tours, and a map to guide our travels. Our room exceeded expectations - an extremely comfortable bed, gas fireplace, large flat screen TV, jetted tub, and lots of charm. The evening wine tastings (from a different winery every night) were such a terrific addition to the incredible breakfast and evening treats. The Inn Keeper even went out of her way to make a non-chocolate dessert every evening since I am allergic to chocolate. It was our first trip to Napa, so we had lots of questions and needed a lot of guidance. The Old World Inn wasn't just a charming, comfortable and extremely convenient place to stay in Napa (walking distance to 30 restaurants downtown), but it was also like having our own Napa expert to guide our experience. With Sharon's recommendations, we visited about 15 wineries and had the time of our lives in just 3 days (short visit). The Old World Inn is a must 'stay' location in Napa - walking distance to downtown and only 5-20 minutes drive to 100s of wineries. I highly recommend it! Enjoy! A & V

My stay at the Napa Old World Inn was truly a wonderful adventure! I was in town overnight for a business meeting and made decided to try one of the B & B's in Napa. I'm so tired of the chain hotels! I called the Inn and spoke with the reservation clerk. From the beginning the exchange was delightful. The interest shown to detail and my specific needs was extraordinary. Upon arrival I was given the tour of the facility and shown to my room. The room was spacious, well appointed with antiques and had all of the current up to date amenities. The bathroom was HUGE and had a delicious spa tub as well as a walk in shower. The bed was quite possibly the best bed I have ever slept in when away from home. The linens were crisp, clean and fragrant. Though I spent only one night it will be a night I remember for a very long time.... and the best part is that I get to go back!

My husband and I spent a long week-end here and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Our room was clean and comfortable with fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. The location in Napa makes it easy to walk downtown to restaurants and shopping. Yes, it faces a busy road but the traffic slows at night and it didn't bother us - we had the only room at the front of the house. Tom, at the desk, was full of information and suggestions. Of course, the evening chocolate treats were perfect and a sweet way to end our day. This is a wonderful B&B that if you give it a try you will enjoy!

We stayed three nights in February and loved everything about the Inn, from the friendly welcome to the sweet treats provided for guests. The room was lovely and we slept so well in the comfortable bed. We also enjoyed the fireplace and spa tub in the evenings. The breakfasts were delicious, and we made it to one wine tasting in the cellar which we enjoyed.

We stayed for four days in the off season, and the room was discounted for this time period which made the value excellent. Full price would have been expensive for the facility. The staff was very friendly and helped with planning trips to nearby towns and one trip to Mendocino. The breakfasts were very good and afternoon and evening chocolate treats were great. They even made breakfasts to go with us when we left early one morning. Individual French press coffee makers were always available. I usually get up early and had some coffee and read the paper in the sitting area. There was a different vineyard representative every afternoon for wine tasting. It was a nice time to talk with more locals and the other guests. The rooms had old world charm with modern amenities.Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved our room, the food, the coffee, the wine, and the CHOCOLATE! I highly recommend this B&B. I cannot think of anything that would have made our experience here better except maybe more time to stay a few more nights. Thank you!

My husband and I celebrated our 8th anniversary at Napa Old World Inn. The gourmet breakfasts were outstanding, as were the compimentary chocolates, which are set out every night at 7pm. We also looked forward to the complimentary appetizers and wine tastings each day at 5:30pm. This is by far the best value we have ever received at a B&B. We enjoyed the feeling of an old house with the conveniences of modern amenities, such as the large jacuzzi tub with great jets and endless piping hot water! my husband went and spent a weekend here right after we got married! it was a great find, great price, and smack dab in the center of napa. close to downtown, close to the vineyards - a great spot! they invited different vineyards in, had a great breakfast for us every morning, and of course - the ambiance was perfect! if you are going to napa - stay here!!!

Really Really nice overnight stay ! Extremely clean house & rooms. Attention to every small detail - french press coffee in the morning accompanied by fresh cream, french music in the breakfast room. Nice evening reception with wine maker. Russ is extremely helpful making coveted dinner reservations, sending us to wineries with tasting coupons. Great central location to tour Napa or even hop over to Sonoma. Hope to come back again soon. Cindy

WOW!, what a wonderful place. The Old World Inn (we stayed at the one on Polk) was extremely charming, our room #12 was fantastic, and the breakfasts and desserts were wonderfully delicious. Also, we really enjoyed the wine tasting every night. Talk to Russ before you head to the wineries, he has great recommendations and tasting coupons! I think we found a permanent place to stay when we're in Napa. See you next time!

My wife and i stayed in thier private cottage and it really was private. We loved it. Their attention to detail was really what made our stay even better. My wife really loved how they even supply q tips and these little pads that helped to remove her make up. Another little uniqe thing they had was journal that was on top of the firplace mantel. Anyone who stays in that room can write and add thier own chapter for future guest to read. We loved reading some of those entries. We will be returning!

My wife and I (as well as two other couples) were looking for a B & B in Napa to do our first tour of the Napa valley with the usual touristy type events: tastings, dinings, etc. The napa world inn website/video looked too good to be true, especially with the great price. I hesitantly booked the three rooms for our group and when we arrived from Florida, all of our expecatations were exceeded. The rooms, service, breakfast......in fact, every facet of our stay was completely wonderful. It will be hard not returning to this B & B for our subsequent trips to Napa valley.

We stayed 5 days / 4 nights at Napa Old World Inn. It is a delightfully charming place with the most helpful staff in the world. The breakfast(s) were incredible, not only satisfyingly delicious, but exceptionally presented as well. We hope to return to Napa Old World Inn.

This was our first time at the "Napa old world inn"! We could not have been more pleased! Althought this is an old B&B, it was an excellent stay,the staff and food were beyond our expectations! We would recommend staying here and know your stay would be enjoyed as much as ours!

We had a lovely time at the Old World Inn in Napa. The rooms were very nice. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The price was great, I would have expected higher for the experience we had. A great value and a very relaxing get away spot!

Upon arrival, we were welcomed warmly by the Inn manager with cookies, tea, and a wine-tasting reception. Our room was perfect! A state of the art video/audio system with scores of movies to choose from, a two-person jacuzzi tub, and a comfortable bed all added to the total relaxation of the night. Great location near downtown Napa......lovely room.....friendly service.......loved the "wine cellar" where we enjoyed a glass of wine and appetizers in the evening and a delicious gourmet breakfast in the morning! Highly recommend the Napa Old World Inn!
