Very friendly hosts, extremely comfortable room.

We were treated wonderfully. Al and Susie made some recommendations for things to do and places to go that suited us perfectly. All in all a wonderful holiday.

My two girlfriends and I had a wonderful, wonderful experience at Hillview Country Inn. Excellent location in the midst of gorgeous vineyards with hot air balloons filling the skies in the mornings. Perfect location for visiting wineries all over Napa Valley. Al and Susie are beautiful people who really care about their guests having a great visit. Susie makes deliciously fresh, warm breakfasts every morning to prepare you for a full day. Beautiful house with gorgeous yard. Wouldn't dare think to stay anywhere else in Napa! Thanks so very much for such a lovely, lovely vacation Hillview Country Inn!!!

Hillview Country Inn was off the beaten path and the setting definitely country, but it offered excellent service with all the amenities, delightful rooms, and a delicious country breakfast. The owners were extremely helpful and congenial. I wish I could have stayed longer and would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed in the Harvest suite, and no one else was staying there that night, so we were offered to upgrade to a bigger room, but decided to keep the Harvest room for the bathtub. Al and Susie were really nice, and we enjoyed talking to them. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, banana pancakes. They do have cats, but they are really friendly.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Hillview Country Inn bed and breakfast! When we arrived, we were given a warm greeting and offered glasses of wine, a nice touch being in the wine country and all. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and we just sat on the deck enjoying our glass of wine and taking in the views. Our room was very cozy and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us! The breakfast was absolutely delicious along with some coffee and fresh orange juice. We will definitely return again!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hillview Country Inn. Al and Susie were warm and hospitable. When we arrived, they poured us a glass of wine and told us about the area. They had home-made brandy that you can help yourself to after you get home from dinner. The room was quiet and clean and it was an overall enjoyable experience.

Al and Suzie were so nice to us, it was like staying with relatives. Great people to chat with. Would love to stay here again. Rooms were nice and looked exactly like the pictures. Thanks for a great stay!

Initially, Hillview Country Inn was hard to find but the GPS did a great job. Al and Susie, the owners, met us as we drove up and were quite open and welcoming. Our room was called the "rose room" and was, indeed, decorated in that motif. The bed and room was very nice and quite comfortable. Susie coooked breakfast and the first morning it was just us but the second morning the table was full. The only suggestion we would have is to perhaps replace the carpeting on the stairs leading up to the second floor where the 4 rooms are.

Our first experience with a B&B, and it was so charming--the food was excellent, hosts were friendly, resident cats were adorable, view was breathtaking, bedroom and bathroom were immaculate (and huge)! The four-poster bed was to die for. Listening to the Napa Valley Wine Train go by at night was an added perk! The only negative was the narrow entrance from Solano Street.

This place was great. I became a little iffy when we drove up and it was so close to the overpass, but once I checked in I completely forgot about that. The smore packages were a really cute touch! The food at the restaurant was amazing. I would drive there from the city just for dinner. Highly recommend staying here sometime!

Al and Suzie were amazing.....we felt like we were visiting family. We'll definitely be back !!!

Hillview Country Inn is a bit on the older side but is charming and full of antique furniture. Al and Susie were wonderfully welcoming and had many fun stories to share. Susie is an excellent cook - breakfast was amazing!

Very Very nice people, the rooms need better cleaning and some updating. Found the room very hot and stuffy.

The Hill View County Inn B&B was a neat place to stay. The breakfast was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful and relaxing with all the trees.

Not good value here. Property is rundown. Carpets need replacing and bedding is worn. Air freshener smell is distracting. Breakfast was ample and good. Proprietors are very nice.

Al and Susie make the place what it is! Our first night, we arrived late and Al stayed up to greet and welcome us. Susie's home cooked breakfasts were fantastic.

The Hillview Country Inn exceeded my expectations.

i stayed at the hillview country inn for my husband's birthday and it was the best time we have had. the owners were great, they are friendly, fun, and they make your stay feel like home. i recommend this inn to anyone wanting to stay in or near Napa

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Inn in September. We had a lovely stay. The Inn is charming and very homey. I admit I was a bit concerned booking on line because the price was so reasonable, but everything was great and service was outstanding. We will visit again!

A very disappointing place. Dust and clutter were everywhere. The carpet on the stairs and in the hall were filthy. Walls were well worn. I wanted to relax in the yard; but, this yard had not been watered or cared for. The pool was green and the lawn furniture by the pool was covered with mildew and dirt. I was told I could enjoy the beautiful back yard if I arrived early. This place needs major improvements and clean-up.

I have had the pleasure of knowing the innkeepers, Al and Susie, and think they are the most delightful people. They are charming, personable, hospitable and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Incredible value with this charming Napa B&B!

We liked the Hillview a lot - their rates were better than any of the other B&B's and the innkeepers are the friendliest people.

My husband & I stayed at this B & B in Oct. 2006 for 3 nights and were very disappointed by the decor, the furnishings, and the grounds. They are all seriously in need of updates.
