Overall this hotel was very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The service for breakfast was awesome they would make you a latte or mocha. While watching the young lady serving the guest she would go the extra mile for the guest. Tip the servers, They keep buffet stocked and the tables clean and your coffee orders filled. The wine thing in the afternoon was ok. I would only say they need to give lesson on how to open a bottle of wine and maybe spend a couple bucks more on thier wine selection. Cheese and crakcers was excellent. We stayed in one of the back cottages RM 18. The room was very nice fireplace, flat screen, nice bed. They have a DVD player, with selection of 10 movies you can borrow at front desk. The front desk staff was very helpful they have tooth brushes, razors, shaving creaming, deodarant at the front desk if you forget it. They have parking but not alot so get a spot early. Overall this place is great. Only Cons, learn to open a bottle of wine, better wine selection, use cheap toliet paper( what place doesn't) I stayed 3/30/12- 4/1/12

Although I truly appreciate those who do, I'm not one to write reviews. My experience at Mill Valley Inn was so wonderful, I decided now was the time. There are several reasons why we loved our stay at the Inn including lovely rooms, the perfect location, the ability to fall asleep to the creek which runs near the inn, the wonderful breakfast upstairs with all the guests every night, and the quiet wine and cheese every evening. That said, what really made our stay as wonderful as it was was the staff. Every single one of them was amazing. So friendly and helpful - boy does that make the difference! Worth every penny! Also, don't miss the opportunity to borrow a few of their bikes to roam around - a lovely way to spend a few spare hours.

Overall the stay was good. The afternoon wine and snacks were nice as well as the morning continental breakfast. The room was comfortable. However, when I went down to the front desk to ask for a spare toothbrush because I had forgotten mine, the man looked at me like I was crazy and said "no". I've stayed at places before that have provided me with a toothbrush, so I didn't think that request was out of the ordinary, but he made me feel like I was requesting something odd.
