Located in the heart of the historic Village, the Sea Gull Inn is one of the original bed and breakfasts in Mendocino. We invite you to sit in our beautiful gardens, relax and unwind from the stresses of your life, or spend time with family and friends. In the morning, we’ll serve you a delicious organic breakfast in your room, on the deck, or in the gardens. We have sample itineraries for daily activities and will be happy to share our thoughts on the best local wineries and eateries.

This is a charming and affordable B&B in the heart of Mendocino. My wife and I stayed for two nights, last week and 24 yrs. before that. The owners are sweet and helpful, there is a beautiful garden and cat, and it couldn't be in a better spot.

Upon arrival, Jim the owner was there to greet us, he was super nice, checked us in, gave us a map of the area & told us good places to eat :) .......then showed us to our room, which was the "shed".......looked exactly like the pictures online!!.....so CUTE!!! the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was roomy......loved the fact that there was always a little shelf or a little table to set your necessities on :) They served a continental breakfast each morning and it was yummy!!!.....consisted of coffee, juice, warm homemade muffins, fresh fruit, & yogurt....all delicious!! They also provided umbrellas in the front office......for those of you who forgot to travel with an umbrella (which we did!!).... The Sea Gull Inn was perfect for us and we would definitely stay there again!!!

Booked earlier this year for our first trip to Mendocino. We were both really happy with our room, The Shed. Staying at The Sea Gull made our visit memorable. Friendly and very helpful hosts, excellent service and brilliant location. We will not hesitate to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Gull Inn. Right in the center of town where you can walk to all kinds of restaurants and bars. Lovely staff and a sweet kitty named Sophie, who greets all the guests. We stayed in the room called the "shed". It was a bit smelly like moldy, musty but this could be due to it being attached to the laundry room. Would stay in a different room next time but will definitely return.

We were greeted by the very pleasant and helpful proprietor and shown to our lovely room. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. After a lovely night's sleep, we enjoyed our breakfast and fresh coffee in-room. It is an excellent value for location and comfort.
