I decided to take a last minute weekend trip to Mendocino for some R&R. I could not find a place to stay. So I found the last room at the SG B&B. Great price and location. Oh my gosh it is an awesome place to stay. The beach was across the street and restaurants and walking distance. I stayed for 2 nights and I loved it. The room was gorgeous and so clean. The bed was heavenly! I can't believe that breakfast was included and delivered to my room. I would definitely recommend the Sea Gull B&B. The Inn keepers are so nice and helpful. I give this place 4 stars!!! Thank you Jim and Ayla! MO

Usually I'm not a fan of Bed and Breakfast Inns, that said, we were surprised and very happy to find that we were wrong in this instance. The Sea Gull Inn from start to finish is a class act. Our room was exquisitely decorated and super clean and the bed gave us the best sleep ever. Breakfast was delivered to our room and was perfect. The hostess is casual friendly but not pushy. I would say that if we are going to Mendocino again we will definitely stay at the Sea Gull Inn.

We had an enchanted time in the Shed. It felt so far away from ordinary life, and we thank Ayla and Jim for this experience.

Our second stay at the Seagull Inn. We have not stayed in the main house because we enjoy the separate cottages called the Shed and the Barn. Both are nice and extremely comfortable. Both have televisions with cable channels. The staff has always been welcoming with a satisfying breakfast delivered promptly to the room. The gardens are what I truly appreciate which are beautifully maintained. Having breakfast in the garden on one of several outdoor tables is truly enjoyable. The inn location is great, close to the Main Street businesses. Moody's coffee shop is a short walk for a morning latte. My only request would be a source for hot water for evening tea. Access to a microwave or water dispenser would be nice. We would highly recommend the Seagull Inn

For a short stay of one day, this hotel will do. Amenities are lacking. No tv in rooms, bathroom is very small, breakfast is adequate and service is good. Innkeeper us very friendly and helpful. Location is very accessible to all the quaint shops around town.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay in the Sea Gull Inn last week. The property is very comfortable and convenient to the town and headlands. Our room (Lookout 2) was spacious and well-furnished. Breakfast was great. Jim and Ayla were very helpful, taking time to educate us about Mendocino's charms. We are looking forward to future stays at the Sea Gull Inn,.

Charming inn in an amazing location with lovely gardens. The only down side was that our bed was not of the quality that we expected to find in a bed and breakfast.

Chose Sea Gull Inn based on great reviews. Our experience there lived up to all of the expectations. Very friendly, clean and helpful. Motorcycle friendly owners as well. I highly recommend without any reservations at all.

We stayed here last year on Easter Sunday, and our return trip this year was very enjoyable. The owners and staff are so nice, and everything was as expected. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the ocean. We will definitely stay here again.
