The distinctive Craftsman-style Brewery Gulch Inn, overlooking Smuggler's Cove and the Pacific Ocean, provides a peaceful retreat for those enjoying the North Coast and the delights of Mendocino. Each of Brewery Gulch Inn's ten guest rooms features an ocean view, fireplace, down comforters and pillows, iHome clock radios with a dock for your iPod or MP3 player, cable with LCD flat TV and DVD player and Wi-Fi high speed Internet access. The bathrooms have a tub/shower combination; several have either a Jacuzzi or soaking tub for two. Eight of the rooms have private decks. A full gourmet breakfast is included as well as hors d'oeuvres for an early evening wine hour.

      For our afternoon Wine Hour, our chef prepares individual layered cheese tortas with sundried tomatoes, tapenade and goat cheese fillings. In addition he makes fougasse from wild grape yeast to dip into garden herb olive oil and other Mediterranean specialties.

Walls of sea grass and white accents surround you as you stretch out on your king feather bed, or send postcards to jealous friends from your writing desk. The bedding in each of these rooms can be reconfigured into twin feather beds. If you are traveling with other friends or family members, these loft rooms have a connecting door between them.
