Moss-green walls with redwood accents welcome you to this 2nd floor hideaway. Gaze out your French doors, across your private balcony, to the whitecaps in Smuggler’s Cove. Relax with a good book by the fire in a comfortable leather chair. Restore your spirit.A panoramic, sweeping view of Smuggler's Cove welcomes you to these two top-of-the-inn aeries, each located up a private stairway on the third floor. Walls of sea grass and white accents surround you as you stretch out on your king feather bed, or send postcards to jealous friends from your writing desk. The bedding in each of these rooms can be reconfigured into twin feather beds. If you are traveling with other friends or family members, these loft rooms have a connecting door between them.
A sublime, travertine-wrapped Jacuzzi tub for two, a covered deck and a picture-postcard view of the cove set the mood for this cozy first-floor escape. The seafoam walls trimmed in white draw the ocean in and provide the perfect backdrop for a collection of framed black and white prints, a soft queen bed, and comfortable leather seating by the fireplace. The large mirrored closet completes this offering.
Windows to the west, north and east bathe this retreat in light and ocean breezes. Kick back in a chair on your private balcony, relax in front of your fireplace with a good book, or slip into your large soaking tub and gaze out the window for a panoramic view out over Smuggler’s Cove. Soothing hues of ecru and beach shell surround your king feather bed and leather club chairs. In the corner, a writing desk to pen postcards to all your envious friends.Sycamore walls and white trim set the soothing tone for this first floor room. French doors lead to a private deck that frames a coastal view out over Smuggler’s Cove. Inside, a relaxing queen bed, leather club chairs, a writing desk and a large, mirrored closet provide a restful retreat from the outside world. A spacious roll-in bathroom and a stall shower with a seat make this room ideal for guests with limited mobility.
Taupe walls and a sheltered view of Smuggler’s Cove offer guests of Madrone a centering escape from life’s hectic pace. Relax on the covered deck of this first-floor room and gaze out at a view of the cove framed by pines and fir. Snuggle with a chenille throw in one of the comfortable leather club chairs. Soak in the large two-person Jacuzzi before drifting off to sleep in the king-size feather bed. This light-filled, first floor corner room has windows overlooking the inn’s verdant meadows to the east, trees to the south and Smuggler’s Cove and the Pacific to the west. A covered deck just outside of the French doors provides a sheltered retreat to read and take in the view. Cappuccino walls with sand dollar trim set the backdrop for this restful retreat.
Enjoy a quiet getaway in this airy, spacious corner room located on the inn’s second floor. Windows on the east side look out onto our pastoral meadow where it’s not unusual to see wildlife grazing.
