Location was an easy drive to many desired areas outside of Longbeach such as Hermosa, Rodondo, and Venice Beach. Nice neighborhood to walk around. Owner was very helpful with any questions!!

Beachrunners has long been a favorite of mine and one I always recommend to anyone going to So. Cal. It's close enough to the freeway to get you most anywhere but far enough away from the city so you feel like you can actually relax! It is more akin to being in a home which it is than anything else. Patricia and her daughter make you feel quite at easy and are able to point any number of things to do locally in Long Beach which is a great city in itself. If you love Craftsman homes as I do then you'll appreciate Beachrunners which is now 100 years old! Also the area of Carrol Park where it is located is loaded with California Bungalow and tons of Craftsman homes. (Take down Broadway for more. ) Beachrunners has a variety of rooms in varied sizes and each one is a gem.

Love this place because it is close to the beach and we always take our bikes to ride on the bike path. Pat is a wonderful hostess and works hard to make each customer's experience special. Be advised…no air conditioning.

This was our first ever stay at a Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we stepped in the door until we left we felt as if we were at home. The community rooms downstairs felt so homey and comfortable with the books, movies and games out for all to share. The breakfasts were amazing and more than I anticipated. Everything was great and we would certainly stay again and I have recommended the place to friends.

Stayed here for two days while on vacation. Great location! You are able to walk to the beach in a manner of minutes. There are also some great restaurants within walking distance. The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming. I think I may have liked to see a slightly better breakfast that could be offered until a little later but overall this B&B is a place to stay.
