We hadn't been to Mendocino since the mid 90's so we decided to come back to celebrate. After doing much research we decided to try Dennan's Victorian Farmhouse. I wanted to book online but was having a problem for some reason so I called. Jo was so helpful. I had lots of questions and Jo was so patient and so helpful. We phoned ahead because it was raining and we were on unfamiliar roads, making sure to tell Jo we may not arrive until after 8 PM. Upon arrival Jo was so friendly and helpful. She knows this area like the back of her hand and gave many suggestions. She called and got us a dinner reservation most places had all ready closed their kitchen. She made sure that they would stay open for us and did so. We stayed in the Dennen Suite, the picture on the website is exactly as shown. We are very impressed with the size of the rooms, very spacious and love the bed and furnishings. I had one problem in that their WiFI was not secure, anyone within range could use it. I mentioned my concerns to Jo and the next morning their IT guy was here to secure the Wifi. They aim to please and they do just that. When we are in the area again we will be back. Thank you Jo and Fred for being the very special people who you are and for making us feel so welcome.

We stayed at Dennens Victorian Farmhouse on the Mendocino coast for three nights in early June. This is a classy and peaceful place to be. The gardens and ocean views are beautiful. The rooms have fireplaces that are replenished with wood each day. The rooms are individually designed with gorgeous antiques; our beds were comfortable complete with lush pillows. Our dietary restrictions were noted and an enormous, fresh organic breakfast was served every morning at our cottage door at the time we requested. Dennens’ has first class service and the best homemade breakfast of any B & B I have ever stayed in. Often the portions were too much to finish. The service is outstanding; everyone greeted us with warmth and was eager to accommodate us at any time of the day. The owners designed this B & B as a dream come true; they clearly treat customers the way they would like to be treated on a holiday. The prices cannot be beat for the comfort, friendly service, and little touches. The value at Dennens Victorian Farmhouse is superior; they spoiled us! This is a first class experience for an amazing affordable price!

I went with my boyfriend to celebrate our birthdays together. The room we stayed in, TreeView, is my favorite. I enjoyed the coziness and the fireplace! Also, the bathroom had a jacuzzi and that was nice. I did some poetry writing at the table as I watched the sunset. I looked forward to the breakfasts that they served as it was very yummy! The ocean is very close by and there is a small trail that leads to the cove. I enjoyed watching the waves crash and gathering seashells. The staff at Dennen's is very friendly and hospitable. I am looking forward to coming back again.
