A good place to rest after a visit to Sequoia National Park. Our room was enough for two people, I saw others guests rooms and were bigger. We didn't try the swimming pool, but jacuzzi was awesome! Don't miss it! Also good breakfast are served between 8:30 and 9:30!

We stayed at the Plantation for 3 nights in October, 2011. It was the perfect time to go - the weather was beautiful and the scenery perfect. The Plantation exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was adorable, the bed comfortable and we enjoyed the free wireless. Scott and Marie were very down to earth and made us feel welcome every time we saw them. We loved watching the stars at night while soaking in the hot tub, and we were excited every morning to see what Marie had concocted for our breakfast. They gave us great directions to the parks, and wonderful recommendations for meals. We would stay here again!

We actually enjoyed our stay at the Plantation. The grounds are peaceful and lovely, even with the road noise (I forgot my earplugs unfortunately) The room (Scarlett) was clean, but a little worn around the edges. The bed should have been replaced years ago and had an obvious indentation in the middle, which is why we cut our visit short by one night. The owners have provided pretty much everything you could need (hot & cold water, a tiny fridge, snacks, coffee, tea, microwave and an old computer which can be used to access the internet) in a little room on the second floor, which is open 24/7. Any complaints you've seen about the internet connection are true (the service is spotty) but that is a problem in the whole general area not just at the B&B, so nothing they can do. One thing that bothered us was that the hosts walk around barefoot all the time....even when serving food! Just not very sanitary in our opinion. We felt the price was a little too high for the quality and we tossed and turned all night in the old bed. Close to park, which was good. Owners knew great places to send you for meals. Marie's breakfasts were tasty, although not large enough to keep my husband full for more than an hour!
