We stayed in the Pearls and Lace room. It is my dream bedroom. It is so big and beautiful! We didn't want to leave the room all weekend, except to eat. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were absolutely gourmet. We had two fireplaces and we took advantage of the huge bath tub that was next to a fireplace. We will definitely go back. It was a perfect getaway.

We stayed in the Queen Anne, The view was wonderful, and the room was quiet, and perfect for our needs. Thanks for a wonderful weekend. Oh the food was amazing!

Very lovely B&B! Bed a little hard and lumpy albeit it was an adjustable bed and the shower water came out as a spray and needs a hand held shower head if possible:) I would just get rid of the bed and put in a nice comfortable regular bed:) But otherwise the accommodation was wonderful!

The inn is in a quite neighborhood north of the Lake, with almost zero traffic going by; this is preferred to other B&Bs in Lake Arrowhead, which are right next to the village on the busy highway We had the garden room, a nice big room with a view over the lake. I saw the largest room, which has a huge bathroom with a window overlooking the desert, the photos don't do it justice. Breakfast was pleasant and bountiful, with Ray and Laurie joining us. The house was constructed as a B&B, so the layout works well. Our only wish was that the bathroom had a heater, for even with the heat cranked up (thermostat is in the hall), the high ceilings made it chilly in the bathroom for bath time. Overall a pleasant visit, everything was spotless with lots of goodies to snack on. Best places to eat are Antlers Grill in Twin Peaks, and the Belgian Waffle place at the village. There are some new cafe's in Skyforest worth checking out, avoid Woody's at the lake.

The house is picturesque and in a nice quiet neighborhood overlooking the lake on the front side and the mountains on the back side. Ray and Laurie are very warm and hospitable people, and they made us feel welcomed. Our room was spacious, nicely laid out and very cozy. Breakfast was simple delicious, with a beautiful presentation. Ray suggested a little known foot path to walk around part of the lake, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the morning looking at the scenery and houses. Start to finish we absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Rose Gables. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. It was an outstanding stay and will be staying there again. The vies from the balcony were terrific, breakfast was awesome and the room perfect. We were celebrating our 29th anniversary and couldn't of picked a better place to have it.

Ray and Laurie made us feel at home in our first ever visit to a B&B. From their delectable and thoughtful full breakfast to the extensive DVD collection, freshly baked cookies and other all-day snacks, they made our stay at their lovely Victorian home in the mountains a delight.

Wow, really nice place. Owners are very helpful, friendly and tend to stay in the background. Gourmet food and I'm in agreement with the previous reviewers. Just wish we could have had eggs on our second breakfast. Cannot recommend this any lower than 5 stars.

Ray and Laurie Naud
Laurie has always wanted a Bed and Breakfast. She loves to cook and is very good at it. Ray is a book nut and likes nothing better than curling up in a quiet corner with his latest find. After spending 15 years in Palm Springs, Lake Arrowhead is a refreshing change for the two of us.
