North of Eureka approximately one hour, and thirty minutes below Crescent City, Rhodes End is nestled amongst the majestic redwoods and bordered by the Klamath River, at the end of Highway 169. Klamath is the west coast center for salmon and steelhead fishing. Ocean beaches, hiking trails and wildlife are abundant. Jet boat rides, Fern Canyon, the Trees of Mystery, and one of the finest Native American artifact collections as reflected in the End of the Trail Museum are just minutes away. The owner went out of her way to set up our room. I wanted to stay for days! She made us an elegant breakfast. We had use of the sitting room with a real fireplace! Such a cozy, adorable house and she has made it so homey and elegant! Hot showers, excellent bed, lovely decor and surroundings. We will go back!

This small charming house, on a quiet wooded property, is 3 miles off Highway 101, in the tiny historic town of Klamath Glen. Lynne's house is full of her family's history, souvenir's and heartfelt vibes, and is reflection of her light, gracious peacefulness as a hostess. My bedroom was lovely, the bed terrific, and Lynne's breakfast was AMAZING ~ as personal, original, wonderfully seasoned and "custom-tailored" as is the whole place. Highly recommended ~ a real oasis of peace and reflection for any conscious traveler.

We arrived late, but the owner called ahead to the local steak house (a 2 minute walk) to stay open until we got there. Perfect breakfast, and the scenery was spectacular!! Five stars all the way.

This was my second time to stay at Rhode's End Bed and Breakfast. I chose it again so my new husband could enjoy it too. He had never stayed at a B&B until this weekend. We celebrated his birthday this way. It is situated in the heart of the most beautiful part of Northern California, with the Redwoods, and the ocean within a couple of miles. This B&B is lovely. Lynn, the innkeeper, goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable, and the breakfast she serves is remarkable. Just delicious, and the presentation is very nice. The rooms are squeaky clean, and the beds are perfect. The surprise birthday cake for my husband was over the top. Thank you, Lynn.... David & Carol Koval
